1 Samuel 3
1 Now, the boy Samuel, was ministering unto Yahweh, before Eli, —and, the word of Yahweh, had become rare in those days, there was no well-known vision.
И отрочищь Самуил бе служа Господеви пред Илием иереем, и глаголгол Господень бе честен в тыя дни, не бе видение посылаемо.
2 But it came to pass, at that time, when Eli was lying down in his place, his eyes, having begun to be dim, he could not see,
И бысть в день он, и Илий спаше на месте своем, и очи его начаста тяжце быти, и не можаше зрети:
3 though, the lamp of God, was not yet to be put out, and, Samuel, was lying down in the temple of Yahweh, where was the ark of God,
и прежде неже угасе светилник Божий, и Самуил спаше в церкви Господни, идеже кивот Божий,
4 that Yahweh called unto Samuel, and he said—Behold me!
и воззва Господь: Самуиле, Самуиле. И рече: се, аз.
5 So he ran unto Eli and said—Behold me! for thou calledst me. And he said—I called not, return—Its down. So he went, and lie down.
И тече ко Илию и рече: се, аз, яко звал мя еси. И рече (Илий): не звах тебе, возвратися и спи. И возвратися и спа.
6 And again Yahweh called once there—Samuel! Then rose Samuel, and went unto Eli, and said—Behold me! for thou calledst me. And he said—I called not, my son, return—lie down.
И приложи Господь и воззва еще: Самуиле, Самуиле. И воста Самуил и иде ко Илию вторицею, и рече: се, аз, яко звал мя еси. И рече: не звах тебе, чадо мое, возвратися, спи.
7 Now, Samuel, as yet knew not Yahweh, —nor, as yet, had been revealed unto him, the word of Yahweh.
Самуил же в то время еще не познаваше Бога, прежде откровения ему гласа Господня.
8 And again Yahweh called—Samuel! a third time. Then he arose, and went unto Eli, and said—Behold me! for thou calledst me. Then did Eli perceive, that, Yahweh, was calling the boy.
И приложи Господь призвати Самуила третицею: и востав, и иде ко Илию и рече: се, аз, яко звал мя еси. И разуме Илий, яко Господь призывает отрочища, и рече: возвратися и спи, чадо:
9 So Eli said to Samuel—Go, lie down, and it shall be, if he call unto thee, that thou shalt say—Speak, Yahweh, for thy servant is listening. And Samuel went, and lay down in his place.
и будет аще воззовет тя Зовый, и речеши: глаголи, Господи, яко слышит раб Твой. И иде Самуил, и спа на месте своем.
10 Then came Yahweh, and stood, and called as time after time—Samuel! Samuel! And Samuel said, Speak, for thy servant is listening.
И прииде Господь и ста и воззва его якоже первое и второе: Самуиле, Самуиле. И рече Самуил: глаголи (Господи), яко слышит раб Твой.
11 And Yahweh said unto Samuel, Lo! I am doing a thing, in Israel, —at which both ears of everyone that heareth it shall tingle.
И рече Господь к Самуилу: се, Аз творю глаголголы Моя во Израили, яко всякому слышащему сия пошумит во обоих ушесех его:
12 In that day, will I confirm against Eli, all that I have spoken against his house, —beginning and finishing.
в день той воздвигну на Илиа вся, елика глаголах на дом его: начну и скончаю:
13 Therefore do I tell him, that I am about to judge his house unto times age-abiding, for the iniquity which he knoweth, in that his sons are cursing God, and he hath not rebuked them.
и возвестих ему, яко отмщу Аз на доме его до века в неправдах сынов его, о нихже ведяше, яко злословиста Бога сынове его, и не наказа их:
14 And therefore have I sworn, respecting the house of Eli, —that the iniquity of the house of Eli shall receive no propitiatory-covering, by sacrifice or by present, unto times age-abiding.
и сего ради кляхся дому Илиину, яко не очистится неправда дому Илиина в кадилах и жертвах его до века.
15 And Samuel lay until the morning, and rose early in the morning, and opened the doors of the house of Yahweh, —but, Samuel, feared to tell the appearing, unto Eli.
И спа Самуил до утра, и утренева заутра, и отверзе двери храма Господня. Самуил же убояся поведати видения Илию.
16 So Eli called Samuel, and said—Samuel! my son. And he said—Behold me!
И рече Илий к Самуилу: Самуиле чадо. И рече: се, аз.
17 And he said—What is the word, which he spake unto thee? I pray thee, do not hide it from me. So, let God do to thee, and, so, let him add, if thou hide from me a word, out of anything which he hath spoken unto thee.
И рече (Илий): что глаголгол глаголголанный к тебе? Не скрый убо от мене: сия да сотворит тебе Бог и сия да приложит, аще утаиши от мене слово от всех словес глаголголанных к тебе во ушеса твоя.
18 So Samuel told him all the words, and hid nothing from him. And he said, Yahweh, he is; what is good in his own eyes, let him do.
И поведа Самуил Илию вся словеса, и не утаи от него (ни единаго глаголгола). И рече Илий: Господь Сам, еже благо пред Ним, да сотворит.
19 And Samuel grew, —and, Yahweh, proved to he with him, and let none of all his words fall to the ground.
И возвеличен бысть Самуил, и Господь бе с ним, и не паде от всех словес его на земли (ни един глагол).
20 So all Israel, from Dan even to Beersheba, came to know, —that Samuel had become confirmed as a prophet unto Yahweh.
И разумеша вси Израилтяне от Дана даже и до Вирсавии, яко верен Самуил Господу во пророцех.
21 Thus did Yahweh again appear in Shiloh, —for Yahweh had revealed himself unto Samuel in Shiloh, in the word of Yahweh.
И приложи Господь явитися в Силоме, яви бо Ся Господь Самуилу: и уверися Самуил пророк быти Господеви во всем Израили, от конца до конца земли. Илий же состареся зело, и сынове его ходяще хождаху, и лукав путь их пред Господем.
