1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, unto the chosen pilgrims of the dispersion, throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia, —

2 [Chosen] according to the fore-knowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of Spirit, unto obedience and the sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ, Favour unto you, and peace, be multiplied!

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who, according to his great mercy, hath regenerated us unto a living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from among the dead,

Ei Pumapa Jisua Khrista Pathien le pa chu minpâkin om rese. Ama han a moroina lien sikin thina renga Jisua Khrista kaithoiin ringna thar mi pêka, sabeina ring leh mi minsip zoi.

4 Unto an inheritance, incorruptible and undefiled and unfading, reserved in the heavens for you

Masikin Pathien'n a mingei ranga rochon satvurna ngei ai dar hah chang rangin ei mântieng ei thîr ani. Ha ngei hah ama'n asiet thei khâiloi, achuoi thei khâiloi le ânmang thei khâloina invâna Pathien'n nin rangin a dar ani.

5 who, in God’s power, are being guarded through faith unto salvation—ready to be revealed in the last ripe time:

Sanminringna zora nûktaka inlang ranga a darchiena om hah man rangin taksônna sika Pathien sinthotheinân dar nin ni.

6 Wherein ye exult, though, for a little, just now, if needful, put to grief in manifold temptations,

Masikin râiminsân roi, atûna hin dûk tamtak nin tuong sikin inngûiin la om khom ungla.

7 In order that the proving of your faith—much more precious than of gold that perisheth even though, by means of fire, it is proved—may be found unto praise and glory and honour in the revealing of Jesus Christ, —

Nin taksônna adik mo itia nangni minthâr hah an khîn tak ani. Asiet thei rângkachak luo mana meia an minthâr ngâia, nin taksônna rângkachak nêka lut uol ok vang chu asôi theina rangin minsinin ai om rang ani. Hanchu Jisua Khrista ânlâr nikhuo han minpâkna, roiinpuina le chôiminsângna man nin tih.

8 Whom, not having seen, ye love, on whom, though at present not looking, but believing, ye exult with joy unspeakable and filled with glory,

Ama hah la mu tet ngâi no khom ungla nin lungkhama, atûn la mu no khom ungla nin iema, masikin râisâna misîr zoiloi roiinpui takin nin sip ngâi ani,

9 Being about to bear away the end of your faith—a salvation of souls:

asikchu nin ratha ngei sannminringna nin mana, mahah ama nin taksônna abitak chu ani.

10 Concerning which salvation, prophets—who concerning the favour for you, did prophesy—sought out and searched out,

Ma sanminringna hah dêipungeiin asadimin an roka an phuola, ma neinunpêk Pathien'n nangni ai pêk rang hah an lei phuong sai ani.

11 Searching into what particular, or what manner, of season the Spirit of Christ which was in them was pointing to, when witnessing beforehand as to—The sufferings, for Christ, and the glories, after these, —

Anni han kho zora mo ai tung rang le i-angin mo ai tung rang iti an zong ngâia. An sûnga Khrista Ratha a om han, Khrista tuong rang tie le roiinpuia a om rang hah chongphuongna an lei dôn ngâi ani.

12 Unto whom it was revealed—that, Not unto themselves, but unto us, they were ministering them, which things have, now, been announced unto you through them who have told you the good tidings with Holy Spirit sent forth from heaven: into which things messengers are coveting to obtain a nearer view.

Ha chong hah Ratha Inthieng sinthotheina invân renga thangthei juongtîr, atûna nin iriet Thurchi Sa nangni misîr pe ngei hih an ni. Ma neinunngei hah vântîrtonngei luo khomin riet an nuom ngâi ani.

13 Wherefore, girding up the loins of your mind, keeping sober, perseveringly direct your hope unto the favour, being borne along to you, in the revealing of Jesus Christ:

Masikin nin mindonna hah sintho ranga inthoksaiin inningchienin om roi. Khrista a juong inlâr tika satvurna nangni pêk rang hah sabei phar roi.

14 As obedient persons, not configuring yourselves unto your former covetings in your ignorance:

Pathien chong jôm ungla, male ite rietloia nin om lâia nin ôina ngei han nin ringnunngei ajêk rangin inphal no roi.

15 But, according as he that hath called you is holy, do, ye yourselves, also become, holy in all manner of behaviour, —

Manêkin, nangni koipu Pathien ânthieng ang han nin thona murdia inthieng roi.

16 Inasmuch as it is written—Holy shall ye be, because, I, am holy.

Pathien lekhabu'n, “Keima kên thieng sikin inthieng roi,” ai ti ang han.

17 And, if, as Father, ye are invoking him who, without respect of persons, judgeth according to each man’s work, with reverence, for the time of your sojourning, behave ye;

Hanchu mi murdi an sintho dungjûia ân-angnata roijêk ngâipu Pathien kôm chubai nin thôn, O Pa, nin ti ngâiin chu rammuola nin lêng kâr chu ama rangin mân inthieng thôn om roi.

18 Knowing that, Not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, have ye been redeemed from your unmeaning behaviour paternally handed down,

Nin richibulngeiin nangni an pêk, nin nunchan mangmunboi renga hah, neinun asiet thei sumdâr le rângkachaka minjôk ni mak chei ti nin rieta;

19 But with precious blood, as of a lamb, unblemished and unspotted, of an Anointed One, —

belrite demnaboi aninônchu achâina boitêt anga, Khrista inbôlna manlutaka ratan nin nih.

20 Foreknown, indeed, before the foundation of the world, but made manifest at a last stage of the times, for the sake of you

Ama hah rammuol insieng mân renga Pathien'n a lei thangsai, le hi sûn nûktak ngeia hin nangni sikin inlangin ai om ani.

21 who, through him, are faithful towards God, —Who raised him from among the dead, and glory to him gave, So that your faith and hope are directed towards God:

Ama sikin thina renga a kaithoipu le roiinpuina pêkpu Pathien hah nin iema; maleh masikin nin taksônna le nin sabeina ngei hah Pathien chunga mindetin ai om ani.

22 Having purified, your souls, by the obedience of the truth, unto unfeigned brotherly affection, from the heart, love, one another, earnestly;

Atûn chu chongtak nin jômna sikin nin champui iempungei lungkham tatak rangin nangni nanâkin nin inthieng zoi sikin nin mulungrîl murdi'n inkhat le inkhat inlungkham inlôm roi.

23 Having been regenerated—Not out of corruptible seed, but incorruptible—through means of the word of a Living and Abiding God; (aiōn g165)

Athithei ni loiin, athitheiloi nulepa renga nâingei anghan, Pathien chong ring kumtuong chongbâi renga suok nôk nin nih. (aiōn g165)

24 Inasmuch as—All flesh, is as grass, and, all the glory thereof, as the flower of grass, —The grass hath withered, and the flower hath fallen out,

Pathien lekhabu'n: “Miriem murdi hih sûl angin an nia, an roiinpuina ngei khom rama pârngei angin an ni. Sûlngei chu athêma, male a pârngei atâka,

25 But the declaration of the Lord age-abidingly remaineth; And, this, is a declaration which in the joyful message hath been announced unto you. (aiōn g165)
