1 Kings 19
1 And Ahab told Jezebel, all that Elijah had done, —and withal, how he had slain all the prophets with the sword.
Ахаб а спус Изабелей тот че фэкусе Илие ши кум учисесе ку сабия пе тоць пророчий.
2 Then sent Jezebel a messenger unto Elijah, saying, —So, let the gods do, and, so, let them add, if, by this time to-morrow, I make not thy life as the life of one of them.
Изабела а тримис ун сол ла Илие сэ-й спунэ: „Сэ мэ педепсяскэ зеий ку тоатэ аспримя лор дакэ мыне, ла часул ачеста, ну вой фаче ку вяца та че ай фэкут ту ку вяца фиекэруя дин ей.”
3 And, when he saw [that], he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beer-sheba, which belongeth to Judah, —and left his servant there.
Илие, кынд а вэзут лукрул ачеста, с-а скулат ши а плекат, ка сэ-шь скапе вяца. А ажунс ла Беер-Шеба, каре цине де Иуда, ши шь-а лэсат служиторул аколо.
4 But, he himself, went into the wilderness a day’s journey, and came and sat down under a certain shrub, —and asked for his life, that he might die, and said—Enough, now, O Yahweh! take away my life, for, no better, am, I, than, my fathers.
Ел с-а дус ын пустиу, унде, дупэ ун друм де о зи, а шезут суб ун иенупэр ши доря сэ моарэ зикынд: „Дестул! Акум, Доамне, я-мь суфлетул, кэч ну сунт май бун декыт пэринций мей.”
5 And, as he lay, and slept, under a certain shrub, lo! a messenger, touching him, who said to him—Rise, eat.
С-а кулкат ши а адормит суб ун иенупэр. Ши, ятэ, л-а атинс ун ынӂер ши й-а зис: „Скоалэ-те ши мэнынкэ.”
6 So he looked about, and lo! at his head, a cake baked on hot stones, and a cruse of water, —and he did eat and drink, and then went back and lay down.
Ел с-а уйтат ши, ла кэпэтыюл луй, ерау о туртэ коаптэ пе ниште петре ынкэлзите ши ун урчор ку апэ. А мынкат ши а бэут, апой с-а кулкат дин ноу.
7 And the messenger of Yahweh came again a second time, and touched him, and said—Rise, eat, —because, too much for thee, is the journey.
Ынӂерул Домнулуй а венит а доуа оарэ, л-а атинс ши а зис: „Скоалэ-те ши мэнынкэ, фииндкэ друмул пе каре-л ай де фэкут есте пря лунг пентру тине.”
8 So he arose, and did eat and drink, —and journeyed, in the strength of that eating, forty days and forty nights, as far as the mountain of God—Horeb.
Ел с-а скулат, а мынкат ши а бэут ши, ку путеря пе каре й-а дат-о мынкаря ачаста, а мерс патрузечь де зиле ши патрузечь де нопць пынэ ла мунтеле луй Думнезеу, Хореб.
9 And he entered, there, into a cave, and lodged there, —and lo! the word of Yahweh [came] unto him, and said to him, What doest thou here, Elijah?
Ши аколо, Илие а интрат ынтр-о пештерэ ши а рэмас ын еа песте ноапте. Ши кувынтул Домнулуй й-а ворбит астфел: „Че фачь ту аич, Илие?”
10 And he said—Very jealous, have I been, for Yahweh, God of hosts, because the sons of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thine altars, have they thrown down, thy prophets, also have they slain with the sword, —and, I alone, am left, and they have sought my life, to take it.
Ел а рэспунс: „Ам фост плин де рывнэ пентру Домнул Думнезеул оштирилор, кэч копиий луй Исраел ау пэрэсит легэмынтул Тэу, ау сфэрымат алтареле Тале ши ау учис ку сабия пе пророчий Тэй; ам рэмас нумай еу сингур, ши каутэ сэ-мь я вяца!”
11 And he said—Go forth to-morrow, and stand in the mountain, before Yahweh. And lo! Yahweh, passing by, and a great and strong wind—rending the mountains, and breaking in pieces the crags, before Yahweh, Not, in the wind, was, Yahweh, —And, after the wind, an, earthquake, Not, in the earthquake, was, Yahweh;
Домнул й-а зис: „Ешь ши стай пе мунте ынаинтя Домнулуй!” Ши ятэ кэ Домнул а трекут пе лынгэ пештерэ. Ши ынаинтя Домнулуй а трекут ун вынт таре ши путерник, каре деспика мунций ши сфэрыма стынчиле. Домнул ну ера ын вынтул ачела. Ши, дупэ вынт, а венит ун кутремур де пэмынт. Домнул ну ера ын кутремурул де пэмынт.
12 And, after the earthquake, a, fire, Not, in the fire, was, Yahweh, —And, after the fire, the voice of a gentle whisper.
Ши дупэ кутремурул де пэмынт, а венит ун фок. Домнул ну ера ын фокул ачела. Ши дупэ фок, а венит ун сусур блынд ши субцире.
13 And it came to pass, when Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went forth, and stood at the entrance of the cave, —and lo! unto him, a voice; and it said—What doest thou here, Elijah?
Кынд л-а аузит, Илие шь-а акоперит фаца ку мантауа, а ешит ши а стат ла гура пештерий. Ши ун глас й-а ворбит зикынд: „Че фачь ту аич, Илие?”
14 And he said—Very jealous, have I been, for Yahweh, God of hosts, because the sons of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thine altars, have they thrown down, thy prophets also, have they slain with the sword, —and, I alone, am left, and they rove sought my life, to take it.
Ел а рэспунс: „Ам фост плин де рывнэ пентру Домнул Думнезеул оштирилор, кэч копиий луй Исраел ау пэрэсит легэмынтул Тэу, ау сфэрымат алтареле Тале ши ау учис ку сабия пе пророчий Тэй; ам рэмас нумай еу сингур, ши каутэ сэ-мь я вяца.”
15 And Yahweh said unto him, Go, return to thy way, towards the wilderness of Damascus, —and, when thou enterest, then shalt thou anoint Hazael to be king over Syria;
Домнул й-а зис: „Ду-те, ынтоарче-те пе друмул тэу прин пустиу пынэ ла Дамаск ши, кынд вей ажунӂе, сэ унӂь пе Хазаел ка ымпэрат ал Сирией.
16 And, Jehu son of Minshi, shalt thou anoint to be king over Israel, —and, Elisha son of Shaphat of Abel-meholah, shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy stead:
Сэ унӂь ши пе Иеху, фиул луй Нимши, ка ымпэрат ал луй Исраел ши сэ унӂь пе Елисей, фиул луй Шафат, дин Абел-Мехола, ка пророк ын локул тэу.
17 Then shall it come to pass, that—him that escapeth the sword of Hazael, shall, Jehu, slay, —and, him that escapeth the sword of Jehu, shall, Elisha, slay;
Ши се ва ынтымпла кэ пе чел че ва скэпа де сабия луй Хазаел ыл ва оморы Иеху ши пе чел че ва скэпа де сабия луй Иеху ыл ва оморы Елисей.
18 Yet will I leave remaining in Israel, seven thousand, —all knees which have not bowed to Baal, and all mouths which have not kissed to him.
Дар вой лэса ын Исраел шапте мий де бэрбаць, ши ануме пе тоць чей че ну шь-ау плекат ӂенункий ынаинтя луй Баал ши а кэрор гурэ ну л-ау сэрутат.”
19 So he departed from thence, and found Elisha son of Shaphat, as he was plowing, with twelve yoke of oxen before him, he being with the twelfth, —so Elijah crossed over unto him, and cast his mantle towards him;
Илие а плекат де аколо ши а гэсит пе Елисей, фиул луй Шафат, арынд. Ынаинтя луй ерау доуэспрезече перекь де бой, ши ел ера ку а доуэспрезечя. Илие с-а апропият де ел ши шь-а арункат мантауа пе ел.
20 and he left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said—Let me, I pray thee, kiss my father and my mother, that I may follow thee. And he said unto him, —Go, turn back, for what have I done to thee?
Елисей а пэрэсит боий, а алергат дупэ Илие ши а зис: „Ласэ-мэ сэ сэрут пе татэл меу ши пе мама мя ши те вой урма.” Илие й-а рэспунс: „Ду-те ши апой ынтоарче-те, дар гындеште-те ла че ць-ам фэкут.”
21 So he turned back from following him, and took the yoke of oxen, and sacrificed them, and, with the implements of the oxen, boiled their flesh, and gave unto the people, and they did eat, —then he arose, and followed Elijah, and ministered unto him.
Дупэ че с-а депэртат де Илие, с-а ынторс ши а луат о переке де бой пе каре й-а адус жертфэ; ку унелтеле боилор ле-а ферт карня ши а дат-о оаменилор с-о мэнынче. Апой с-а скулат, а урмат пе Илие ши а фост ын служба луй.
