1 John 1
1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we for ourselves gazed upon, and our hands did handle, concerning the Word of Life, —
อาทิโต ย อาสีทฺ ยสฺย วาคฺ อสฺมาภิรศฺราวิ ยญฺจ วยํ สฺวเนไตฺร รฺทฺฤษฺฏวนฺโต ยญฺจ วีกฺษิตวนฺต: สฺวกไร: สฺปฺฤษฺฏวนฺตศฺจ ตํ ชีวนวาทํ วยํ ชฺญาปยาม: ฯ
2 And, the Life, was made manifest, and we have seen, and are bearing witness, and announcing unto you, the Age-abiding Life, which, indeed, was with the Father, and was made manifest unto us; (aiōnios g166)
ส ชีวนสฺวรูป: ปฺรกาศต วยญฺจ ตํ ทฺฤษฺฏวนฺตสฺตมธิ สากฺษฺยํ ททฺมศฺจ, ยศฺจ ปิตุ: สนฺนิธาววรฺตฺตตาสฺมากํ สมีเป ปฺรกาศต จ ตมฺ อนนฺตชีวนสฺวรูปํ วยํ ยุษฺมานฺ ชฺญาปยาม: ฯ (aiōnios g166)
3 That which we have seen and heard, are we announcing, even unto you, in order that, ye too, may have fellowship with us, and, our own fellowship also, may be with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
อสฺมาภิ รฺยทฺ ทฺฤษฺฏํ ศฺรุตญฺจ ตเทว ยุษฺมานฺ ชฺญาปฺยเต เตนาสฺมาภิ: สหำศิตฺวํ ยุษฺมากํ ภวิษฺยติฯ อสฺมากญฺจ สหำศิตฺวํ ปิตฺรา ตตฺปุเตฺรณ ยีศุขฺรีษฺเฏน จ สารฺทฺธํ ภวติฯ
4 And, these things, are we writing, in order that, our joy, may be made full.
อปรญฺจ ยุษฺมากมฺ อานนฺโท ยตฺ สมฺปูรฺโณ ภเวทฺ ตทรฺถํ วยมฺ เอตานิ ลิขาม: ฯ
5 And this is the message which we have heard from him, and are reporting unto you, —that, God, is, light, and in him is, no darkness at all.
วยํ ยำ วารฺตฺตำ ตสฺมาตฺ ศฺรุตฺวา ยุษฺมานฺ ชฺญาปยาม: เสยมฺฯ อีศฺวโร โชฺยติสฺตสฺมินฺ อนฺธการสฺย เลโศ'ปิ นาสฺติฯ
6 If we say—We have, fellowship, with him! and, in darkness, are walking, we are dealing falsely, and not doing the truth;
วยํ เตน สหำศิน อิติ คทิตฺวา ยทฺยนฺธากาเร จรามสฺตรฺหิ สตฺยาจาริโณ น สนฺโต 'นฺฤตวาทิโน ภวาม: ฯ
7 Whereas, if, in the light, we are walking, as, he, is in the light, we have, fellowship one with another, and, the blood of Jesus his Son, is cleansing us from all sin.
กินฺตุ ส ยถา โชฺยติษิ วรฺตฺตเต ตถา วยมปิ ยทิ โชฺยติษิ จรามสฺตรฺหิ ปรสฺปรํ สหภาคิโน ภวามสฺตสฺย ปุตฺรสฺย ยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺย รุธิรญฺจาสฺมานฺ สรฺวฺวสฺมาตฺ ปาปาตฺ ศุทฺธยติฯ
8 If we say—Sin, have we none! we are deceiving, ourselves, and, the truth, is not in us.
วยํ นิษฺปาปา อิติ ยทิ วทามสฺตรฺหิ สฺวยเมว สฺวานฺ วญฺจยาม: สตฺยมตญฺจาสฺมากมฺ อนฺตเร น วิทฺยเตฯ
9 If we are confessing our sins, faithful, is he and, righteous—that he should forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
ยทิ สฺวปาปานิ สฺวีกุรฺมฺมเห ตรฺหิ ส วิศฺวาโสฺย ยาถารฺถิกศฺจาสฺติ ตสฺมาทฺ อสฺมากํ ปาปานิ กฺษมิษฺยเต สรฺวฺวสฺมาทฺ อธรฺมฺมาจฺจาสฺมานฺ ศุทฺธยิษฺยติฯ
10 If we say—We have not sinned! false, are we making, him, and, his word, is not in us.
วยมฺ อกฺฤตปาปา อิติ ยทิ วทามสฺตรฺหิ ตมฺ อนฺฤตวาทินํ กุรฺมฺมสฺตสฺย วากฺยญฺจาสฺมากมฺ อนฺตเร น วิทฺยเตฯ
