1 John 4
1 Beloved! not in every spirit, believe ye, but test the spirits, whether they are, of God; because, many false prophets, have gone out into the world.
હે પ્રિયતમાઃ, યૂયં સર્વ્વેષ્વાત્મસુ ન વિશ્વસિત કિન્તુ તે ઈશ્વરાત્ જાતા ન વેત્યાત્મનઃ પરીક્ષધ્વં યતો બહવો મૃષાભવિષ્યદ્વાદિનો જગન્મધ્યમ્ આગતવન્તઃ|
2 Hereby, do ye perceive the Spirit of God: —every spirit that confesseth Jesus Christ as having come, in flesh, is, of God;
ઈશ્વરીયો ય આત્મા સ યુષ્માભિરનેન પરિચીયતાં, યીશુઃ ખ્રીષ્ટો નરાવતારો ભૂત્વાગત એતદ્ યેન કેનચિદ્ આત્મના સ્વીક્રિયતે સ ઈશ્વરીયઃ|
3 And, every spirit that doth not confess Jesus, of God, is not. And, this, is the [spirit] of the Antichrist, touching which ye have heard that it cometh: even now, is it, in the world, already.
કિન્તુ યીશુઃ ખ્રીષ્ટો નરાવતારો ભૂત્વાગત એતદ્ યેન કેનચિદ્ આત્મના નાઙ્ગીક્રિયતે સ ઈશ્વરીયો નહિ કિન્તુ ખ્રીષ્ટારેરાત્મા, તેન ચાગન્તવ્યમિતિ યુષ્માભિઃ શ્રુતં, સ ચેદાનીમપિ જગતિ વર્ત્તતે|
4 Ye, are, of God, dear children, and have overcome them; because, greater, is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
હે બાલકાઃ, યૂયમ્ ઈશ્વરાત્ જાતાસ્તાન્ જિતવન્તશ્ચ યતઃ સંસારાધિષ્ઠાનકારિણો ઽપિ યુષ્મદધિષ્ઠાનકારી મહાન્|
5 They, are, of the world: For this cause, of the world, they speak, and the world, unto them, doth hearken.
તે સંસારાત્ જાતાસ્તતો હેતોઃ સંસારાદ્ ભાષન્તે સંસારશ્ચ તેષાં વાક્યાનિ ગૃહ્લાતિ|
6 We, are, of God: he that is getting to understand God, hearkeneth unto us, —whoso is not of God, hearkeneth not unto us: from this, perceive we—the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
વયમ્ ઈશ્વરાત્ જાતાઃ, ઈશ્વરં યો જાનાતિ સોઽસ્મદ્વાક્યાનિ ગૃહ્લાતિ યશ્ચેશ્વરાત્ જાતો નહિ સોઽસ્મદ્વાક્યાનિ ન ગૃહ્લાતિ; અનેન વયં સત્યાત્માનં ભ્રામકાત્માનઞ્ચ પરિચિનુમઃ|
7 Beloved! let us be loving one another; because, love, is, of God, and, whosoever loveth, of God, hath been born, and is getting to understand God:
હે પ્રિયતમાઃ, વયં પરસ્પરં પ્રેમ કરવામ, યતઃ પ્રેમ ઈશ્વરાત્ જાયતે, અપરં યઃ કશ્ચિત્ પ્રેમ કરોતિ સ ઈશ્વરાત્ જાત ઈશ્વરં વેત્તિ ચ|
8 He that doth not love, doth not understand God, because, God, is, love.
યઃ પ્રેમ ન કરોતિ સ ઈશ્વરં ન જાનાતિ યત ઈશ્વરઃ પ્રેમસ્વરૂપઃ|
9 Herein, hath the love of God in us, been made manifest, that, his only-begotten Son, God sent into the world, in order that we might live through him.
અસ્માસ્વીશ્વરસ્ય પ્રેમૈતેન પ્રાકાશત યત્ સ્વપુત્રેણાસ્મભ્યં જીવનદાનાર્થમ્ ઈશ્વરઃ સ્વીયમ્ અદ્વિતીયં પુત્રં જગન્મધ્યં પ્રેષિતવાન્|
10 Herein, is love: not that, we, have loved God, but that, he, loved us, and sent forth his Son, as a propitiation concerning our sins.
વયં યદ્ ઈશ્વરે પ્રીતવન્ત ઇત્યત્ર નહિ કિન્તુ સ યદસ્માસુ પ્રીતવાન્ અસ્મત્પાપાનાં પ્રાયશ્ચિર્ત્તાર્થં સ્વપુત્રં પ્રેષિતવાંશ્ચેત્યત્ર પ્રેમ સન્તિષ્ઠતે|
11 Beloved! If, in this way, God, loved us, we also, ought to love, one another.
હે પ્રિયતમાઃ, અસ્માસુ યદીશ્વરેણૈતાદૃશં પ્રેમ કૃતં તર્હિ પરસ્પરં પ્રેમ કર્ત્તુમ્ અસ્માકમપ્યુચિતં|
12 Upon God, hath no one, at any time, gazed: If we love one another, God, in us, abideth, and, his love, hath been perfected within us.
ઈશ્વરઃ કદાચ કેનાપિ ન દૃષ્ટઃ યદ્યસ્માભિઃ પરસ્પરં પ્રેમ ક્રિયતે તર્હીશ્વરો ઽસ્મન્મધ્યે તિષ્ઠતિ તસ્ય પ્રેમ ચાસ્માસુ સેત્સ્યતે|
13 Hereby, perceive we—that, in him, are we abiding, and, he, in us, —in that, of his Spirit, hath he given unto us.
અસ્મભ્યં તેન સ્વકીયાત્મનોંઽશો દત્ત ઇત્યનેન વયં યત્ તસ્મિન્ તિષ્ઠામઃ સ ચ યદ્ અસ્માસુ તિષ્ઠતીતિ જાનીમઃ|
14 And, we, for ourselves have gazed, and are bearing witness—that, the Father, sent forth the Son, as Saviour of the world.
પિતા જગત્રાતારં પુત્રં પ્રેષિતવાન્ એતદ્ વયં દૃષ્ટ્વા પ્રમાણયામઃ|
15 Whosoever shall confess, that, Jesus [Christ] is the Son of God, God, in him, abideth, and, he, in God.
યીશુરીશ્વરસ્ય પુત્ર એતદ્ યેનાઙ્ગીક્રિયતે તસ્મિન્ ઈશ્વરસ્તિષ્ઠતિ સ ચેશ્વરે તિષ્ઠતિ|
16 And, we, have come to understand and to trust the love which, God, hath, in us. God, is, love; and, he that abideth in love, in God, abideth, and, God, in him [abideth].
અસ્માસ્વીશ્વરસ્ય યત્ પ્રેમ વર્ત્તતે તદ્ વયં જ્ઞાતવન્તસ્તસ્મિન્ વિશ્વાસિતવન્તશ્ચ| ઈશ્વરઃ પ્રેમસ્વરૂપઃ પ્રેમ્ની યસ્તિષ્ઠતિ સ ઈશ્વરે તિષ્ઠતિ તસ્મિંશ્ચેશ્વરસ્તિષ્ઠતિ|
17 Herein, hath love with us, been made perfect, —in order that, boldness, we might have in the day of judging, —in that, just as, He, is, we also, are, in this world.
સ યાદૃશો ઽસ્તિ વયમપ્યેતસ્મિન્ જગતિ તાદૃશા ભવામ એતસ્માદ્ વિચારદિને ઽસ્માભિ ર્યા પ્રતિભા લભ્યતે સાસ્મત્સમ્બન્ધીયસ્ય પ્રેમ્નઃ સિદ્ધિઃ|
18 Fear, existeth not, in love, but, perfect love, casteth fear, outside; because, fear, hath correction: he that feareth, hath not been made perfect, in love.
પ્રેમ્નિ ભીતિ ર્ન વર્ત્તતે કિન્તુ સિદ્ધં પ્રેમ ભીતિં નિરાકરોતિ યતો ભીતિઃ સયાતનાસ્તિ ભીતો માનવઃ પ્રેમ્નિ સિદ્ધો ન જાતઃ|
19 We, love, because, he, first loved us: —
અસ્માસુ સ પ્રથમં પ્રીતવાન્ ઇતિ કારણાદ્ વયં તસ્મિન્ પ્રીયામહે|
20 If one should say, I love God, and should be hating, his brother, false, is he; for, he that doth not love his brother, whom he hath seen, God, whom he hath not seen, he cannot love!
ઈશ્વરે ઽહં પ્રીય ઇત્યુક્ત્વા યઃ કશ્ચિત્ સ્વભ્રાતરં દ્વેષ્ટિ સો ઽનૃતવાદી| સ યં દૃષ્ટવાન્ તસ્મિન્ સ્વભ્રાતરિ યદિ ન પ્રીયતે તર્હિ યમ્ ઈશ્વરં ન દૃષ્ટવાન્ કથં તસ્મિન્ પ્રેમ કર્ત્તું શક્નુયાત્?
21 And, this commandment, have we from him, —that, he who loveth God, love, his brother also.
અત ઈશ્વરે યઃ પ્રીયતે સ સ્વીયભ્રાતર્ય્યપિ પ્રીયતામ્ ઇયમ્ આજ્ઞા તસ્માદ્ અસ્માભિ ર્લબ્ધા|
