< 1 John 3 >
1 Behold, what manner of love, the Father hath bestowed upon us—that, children of God, we should be called, —and such we are! Therefore, the world understandeth us not, because it understood not him.
Sok thaak an, Hewah ih seng timthan minchan hali! Heh minchan ah erathan rak seng ah Rangte sah ngeh jen poon thuk hali—eno amiimi di seng loong ah hesuh hesah langli. Neng loong ih seng ah tajat ri mamah liidih Rangte ah tajat rumka.
2 Beloved! now, are we, children of God; and, not yet, hath it been made manifest, what we shall be, —We know that, if it should be made manifest, like unto him, shall we be, because we shall see him, just as he is.
Nga mongnook joonte loong, seng ah belam Rangte suh asah, enoothong seng mamah angte angli erah amadi tuk ih tajatke. Enoothong seng ih ejat ehi Kristo raaha doh seng ah heh likhiik angte angli, mamah liidih heh ah mamah angta erah likhiikkhiik ih kaptup ih.
3 And, whosoever hath this hope on him, is purifying himself, just as, He, is pure.
Marah mina ih Kristo asuh laalom la erah mina ih Kristo saata likhik heh uh sa chamcham angtheng.
4 Whosoever is committing sin, lawlessness also, is committing, and, sin, is, lawlessness;
Ngo dala erah ih Rangte hotthe thetsiit ha erah ah thila, mamah liidih hotthe thetsiit ha rah rangdah.
5 And ye know, that, He, was made manifest—in order that, our sins, he should take away, and, sin, in him, is there none.
Sen ih ejat ehan Kristo ra taha rah rangdah saahaat ra taha, eno heh di rangdah ah takah jeeka.
6 Whosoever, in him, doth abide, is not sinning: whosoever is sinning, hath not seen him, and doth not understand him.
Erah raang ih Kristo damdoh roong tongte loong ah rangdah laka dah theng; Enoothong marah mina daruh ela, erah mina ih heh ah mabah uh tah tupta nyia tajatta.
7 Dear children! Let, no one, lead you astray! He that is doing righteousness, is, righteous, just as, He, is righteous:
Nga sah loong, ngo ih uh nak toom mokwaan han! Marah mina pun reela erah mina ah Kristo kateng angla likhiik heh uh kateng angla.
8 He that is committing sin, is, of the adversary, because, from the beginning, the adversary is sinning. To this end, was the Son of God made manifest, in order that he might undo the works of the adversary.
Marah mina daruh ela erah mina ah Hakhoh juungbaan dabbi, mamah liidih Hakhoh juungbaan ih jaakhoh ni dook phang data. Rangte Sah ah erah thoi ih ra taha, marah Hakhoh juungbaan ih hoonta erah thet haat suh ra taha.
9 Whosoever hath been born of God, is not committing, sin, because, a seed of him, within him, abideth; and he cannot be committing sin, because, of God, hath he been born.
Marah mina Rangte suh asah angla erah rangdah daruh tah daka, timnge liidih Rangte dang ajang ah neng damdi; edoleh Rangte ah neng Wah, erah thoidi neng ih rangdah ah daruh tah erumka.
10 Herein, are, manifest, the children of God, and the children of the adversary: Whoever is not doing righteousness, is not of God, nor yet he that is not loving his brother.
Rangte suh asah nyia Hakhoh juungbaan suh asah loong ah maama ang rum ah: Marah mina ah lapun reeka nyia wahoh lah minchanka rah Rangte suh asah tah angka.
11 Because, this, is the message which ye have heard from the beginning—that we should be loving one another, —
Jaakhoh ni chaattan jengkhaap ah arah: seng laktung nah minchan mui jaatjaat etheng.
12 Not just as, Cain, was, of the wicked one, and slew his brother! And, for what cause, slew he him? Because, his works, were, wicked, whereas, those of his brother, were, righteous.
Seng loong ah Keen likhiik nak angtheng; Heh ah Ethih Wah rah dakbi angthoi heh no Abel ah tek haatta. Keen ih heh ah tim suh tek haatta? Mamah liidih Keen reeraang ah ethih angta, eno heh no reeta ah epun angta.
13 Be not marveling, brethren, if, the world, is hating you:
Phoh ano loong mongrep dowa mina loong ih mok miksuk hanbah nak paatja an.
14 We, know, that we have passed over out of death into life, because we love the brethren: he that loveth not, abideth in death.
Seng ih ejat ehi etek ah thinhaat eti eno ething roidong adi tongli; seng laktung ni minchan mui thaang ih arah jat hi. Marah mina ih phoh ano lah minchanka erah mina ah amadi uh etek chaan aphaan khui ni tong rumla.
15 Whosoever is hating his brother, is, a murderer; and ye know that, no murderer, hath life age-during, within him abiding. (aiōnios )
Marah mina ih hephoh heno miksuk ha erah mina ah mih tek haatte, eno sen ih ejat ehan mih tek haatte di lathoon roidong ah tajeeka ang ah. (aiōnios )
16 Hereby, have we come to understand love: in that, He, for us, his life laid down; and, we, ought, for the brethren, our lives to lay down.
Minchan jat hi rah amah: Kristo ih heh teeteewah roidong ah seng raangtaan ih kota, erah likhiikkhiik seng eh uh sengphoh sengno raangtaan ih thing tongtheng!
17 But, whoso hath this world’s goods, and beholdeth his brother having, need, and shutteth up his tender affections from him, how, is, the love of God, abiding in him?
Seng changteng angli li ino sengphoh sengno ih timjih jamha erah etup ehi, ang abah uh neng suh tim uh takoke, erabah mamah ma jen chaang ih Rangte ah minchan ehang ngeh ah?
18 Dear children! Let us not be loving in word, nor yet with the tongue, but in deed and truth.
Nga sah loong, seng dowa minchan ah jengkhaap luulu nyia tiitwaan luulu nah nak toom ang ah, erah nang ih amiisak minchan ah toom ang ah sengre sengraang nawa ih jen noisok theng toom ang ah.
19 Hereby, shall we get to know, that, of the truth, we are, and, before him, shall persuade our heart;
Erah likhiikkhiik seng ah amiisak dabbi ngeh jat ih: seng loong Rangte ngathong nah rong tangtang jen ang ih.
20 Because, if our own heart condemn us, greater, is God, than our heart, and perceiveth all things.
Sengthung sengtak ih seng loong mok dut haat heebah, seng ih ejat etheng sengthung sengtak nang ih Rangte ah elongthoon eno heh ih jirep roop jat ha.
21 Beloved! if our heart be not condemning us, boldness, have we, towards God;
Erah raangtaan ih, mongnook joonte loong, sengthung sengtak ih seng asuh lamok damdak riibah, seng loong jinni tenchaan tenthun eje Rangte ngathong ni ah.
22 And, whatsoever we are asking, we are receiving from him, because, his commandments, are we keeping, and, the things that are pleasing before him, are we doing.
Marah suhi, erah heh jin nawa echoh eli, mamah liidih seng ih heh jengdang ah ekap ehi eno heh thung punjih ah ere eli.
23 And, this, is his commandment, —that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and be loving one another—just as he gave a commandment unto us.
Heh jengdang ah langla, seng ih Jisu Kristo suh hanpi ih nyia seng jaachi nah Kristo ih baat tahe likhiikkhiik minchan mui theng.
24 And, he that keepeth his commandments, in him, abideth, and, he, in him. And, hereby, perceive we, that he abideth in us, by reason of the Spirit which, unto us, he hath given.
Marah mina ih Rangte jengdang ah echaat eha erah mina ah heh damdi roong tongla, eno Rangte uh heh damdi roong tongla. Mamah liidih marah Rangte ih koh tahe Chiiala rah ih jatthuk hali, Rangte ah seng damdi roongtong hala.
