1 John 2
1 My dear children! these things, am I writing unto you, in order that ye may not be committing sin. And, if anyone should commit sin, an Advocate, have we, with the Father, Jesus Christ, the Righteous;
A vocês, meus caros amigos, escrevo isto para lhes [dizer]: Não pequem! Mas se qualquer de vocês [crentes ]por acaso pecar, [Deus pode perdoar-lhe porque ]temos Jesus Cristo, que é o Justo, fala ao Pai em nosso benefício.
2 And, he, is, a propitiation, concerning our sins, —and, not concerning our own only, but, also concerning those of the whole world.
[Lembrem-se ]que Jesus Cristo sacrificou voluntariamente [sua própria vida por nós, e portanto]—[como resultado—Deus perdoa ]nossos pecados[. Sim, Ele pode perdoar ]nossos pecados, mas [também pode perdoar ]os pecados de todas as pessoas do mundo inteiro!
3 And, hereby, perceive we, that we understand him, —if, his commandments, we are keeping.
[Vou lhes dizer ]como podemos ter certeza de que nós—conhecemos a / temos um íntimo relacionamento com—Deus. [O elemento que nos comprova isso ]é obedecermos aquilo que Ele [nos ]manda [fazer. Portanto devemos sempre obedecer aquilo que Ele nos ]manda [fazer. ]
4 He that saith—I understand him! And, his commandments, is not keeping, is false, and, in him, the truth is not!
Se alguém disser: “Conheço a/Tenho um íntimo relacionamento com Deus,” e se, [ao mesmo tempo], ele deixar de obedecer aquilo que Deus [nos ]manda [fazer, ]ele é mentiroso. Não está se comportando de acordo com a verdadeira mensagem [de Deus].
5 But whosoever may be keeping his word, of a truth, in this man, the love of God hath been made perfect. Hereby, perceive we, that, in him, we are.
Mas se alguém obedecer aquilo que Deus nos manda [fazer, ]tal pessoa realmente ama a Deus da forma que Deus deseja. Vou lhes dizer como podemos ter certeza de termos um íntimo relacionamento com Deus:
6 He that saith, that, in him, he abideth, ought, just as He walked, himself also, to be walking.
Se alguém afirmar que está vivendo como Deus deseja que viva, ele deve [comportar-se ]como Cristo [se comportava.]
7 Beloved! no new commandment, am I writing unto you; but an old commandment, which ye have been holding from the beginning: The old commandment is the word which ye have heard.
Queridos amigos, não estou escrevendo para vocês um novo mandamento [adicional.] Pelo contrário, estou escrevendo a vocês um mandamento que já possuem desde o dia que [creram ][MTY] inicialmente [em Cristo. ]
8 Again, a new commandment, am I writing unto you, —which thing is true, in him and in you, because, the darkness, is passing away, and, the real light, already is shining.
Contudo, o mandamento que lhes escrevo é [realmente ]novo. [Ele é novo porque ]foi novo aquilo que Cristo fez, e aquilo que vocês estão fazendo é novo, pois [deixaram de comportar-se de uma forma moralmente impura/pecaminosa, ]e [em vez disso estão se comportando de uma forma moralmente pura. É como ][MET] deixar [de viver na ]escuridão. Em vez disso [é como ]viver onde as luzes brilhantes já resplandecem.
9 He that saith he is, in the light, and hateth, his brother, is, in the darkness, until even now!
Se alguém afirma ser [moralmente puro, como quem ][MET] vive na luz, e se [ao mesmo tempo ]odeia qualquer dos seus irmãos crentes, ele continua [comportando-se de uma forma moralmente impura/pecaminosa, como ][MET] [alguém que vive continuamente ]na escuridão.
10 He that loveth his brother, is abiding, in the light, and, cause of stumbling, in him, is there none.
Mas se alguém ama seus irmãos crentes, ele [continua se comportando como quem ]vive na luz. Este tipo de pessoa agrada [LIT] [a Deus. Portanto, vocês devem amar aos seus irmãos crentes. ]
11 Whereas, he that hateth his brother, in the darkness, dwelleth, and in the darkness, walketh; and knoweth not whither he is drifting, because the, darkness, hath blinded his eyes.
Mas se alguém odiar qualquer dos irmãos crentes, ele continua [se comportando de uma forma moralmente impura/pecaminosa como ][MET] [quem vive ]na escuridão. Ele nem sabe que, eventualmente, se destruirá. Ele se tornou [espiritualmente ]cego [PRS, MET], [ignorando a verdade espiritual.]
12 I write unto you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven you, for the sake of his name:
Estou escrevendo [isto ]a vocês, [a quem amo como se ][MET] [fossem meus ]filhinhos, a vocês que são [pessoas espiritualmente maduras que ]são [como ][MET] pais e a vocês os [espiritualmente vigorosos que são como ][MET] jovens. Lembrem-se que seus pecados foram perdoados {[Deus ]perdoou seus pecados} por causa daquilo que Cristo [MTY] [fez. ]Vocês chegaram a conhecer [a Cristo, ]que tem existido sempre. Vocês venceram o maligno, [Satanás].
13 I write unto you, fathers, because ye understand him who was from the beginning: I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I have written unto you, little children, because ye understand the Father:
14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye understand him who was from the beginning: I have written you, young men, because ye are, strong, and the word of God, within you, abideth, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
[Vou lhes dizer novamente o seguinte: ]Tenho escrito [isto ]a vocês porque chegaram a conhecer ao Pai, porque chegaram a conhecer a [Cristo, ]que tem existido sempre, porque são [espiritualmente ]fortes, porque continuam [obedecendo ]à palavra de Deus e porque venceram o maligno, [Satanás.]
15 Be not loving the world, nor yet the things that are in the world: if anyone be loving the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
Não anseiem [viver da maneira maligna em que outras pessoas ]vivem [no ]mundo [MTY] e não amem nada que [os malignos ]do mundo [MTY] estimam. Se alguém quiser viver [da forma maligna em que vivem outras pessoas ]do mundo [MTY], ele [realmente ]não ama a seu Pai Deus.
16 Because, all that is in the world—the coveting of the flesh, the coveting of the eyes, and the vain grandeur of life—is not of the Father, but is, of the world;
Lembrem-se que todos [os maus desejos humanos ]do mundo [incluem ações como as seguintes: ]As pessoas desejam satisfazer [aquilo que ]sua natureza egocêntrica [anseia fazer. ]As pessoas desejam [possuir ]tudo que apela para seus sentidos. As pessoas se orgulham das suas posses materiais. Tal [forma maligna de vida ]não procede do Pai! Pelo contrário, ela vem dos [ímpios do ]mundo [MTY]!
17 And, the world, passeth away, and the coveting [thereof], but, he that doeth the will of God, endureth unto times age-abiding. (aiōn g165)
Os [ímpios do ]mundo [MTY] e aquilo que eles desejam desaparecerão, mas se alguém fizer o que Deus quer [que faça], existirá/viverá para sempre! (aiōn g165)
18 Little children! it is, the last hour; and, just as ye have heard that, an antichrist, is coming, even now, antichrists have become, many, whence we perceive that it is, the last hour:
[Meus caros, agora ]é o período final [MTY] [desta época. ]Bem como vocês ouviram [de nós apóstolos ]que virá [uma pessoa ]que se opõe a Cristo, existem agora muitas pessoas que se opõem a Cristo. É por isso que sabemos que estamos no período final [desta época/antes da volta de Jesus ][MTY].
19 From among us, they went out, but they were not of us; for, if, of us, they had been, they would in that case have abode with us; but [it came to pass] in order that they might be made manifest, because, all, are not of us.
Aqueles [que se opõem a Cristo ]não quiseram ficar conosco, e/mas [realmente ]não pertenciam ao nosso [grupo]. Se tivessem pertencido ao nosso [grupo], teriam permanecido conosco. Mas, já que [nos abandonaram, todo o mundo ]pode perceber claramente que nenhum deles pertence ao nosso [grupo].
20 And, ye, have, an anointing, from the Holy One, —Ye all, know:
Mas quanto a vocês, a vocês foi concedido o poder do Espírito de Deus, que vem de [Cristo ](OU, [Deus]), o Santo. [Como resultado, ]vocês todos sabem [distinguir a doutrina falsa da mensagem verdadeira. ]
21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and because, no falsehood, is, of the truth.
Estou escrevendo a vocês, não porque não sabem [qual é ]a verdadeira mensagem [de Deus], mas porque já sabem [qual é Sua ]mensagem verdadeira. Vocês também sabem que nenhuma mensagem falsa procede de [Deus, que é a fonte de toda ]verdade.
22 Who, is the False One; —save he that denieth that, Jesus, is the Christ? The same, is the Antichrist, —he that denieth the Father and the Son.
Os [piores ]mentirosos são os que negam que Jesus seja o Messias/aquele que Deus escolheu para nos resgatar. São eles [as pessoas de quem já lhes falamos], que se opõem a Cristo. Eles recusam afirmar que [Deus é ]o Pai e que [Jesus é seu ]Filho/aquele que é também Deus.
23 Whosoever denieth the Son, neither hath he, the Father: He that confesseth the Son, hath, the Father also.
Se alguém recusar confessar que [Jesus é ]Filho [de Deus], ele não tem nenhum relacionamento com o Pai. Mas se alguém afirmar que [Jesus é ]Filho [de Deus, ]ele tem um relacionamento com o Pai.
24 As for you, what ye have heard from the beginning, in you, let it abide. If, in you, shall abide, that which, from the beginning, ye have heard, ye also, in the Son, and [in] the Father, shall abide.
[Portanto], quanto a vocês, devem continuar se comportando de acordo com [a mensagem verdadeira ]que ouviram quando começaram [MTY] [a crer em Cristo]. Se continuarem [a agir assim, ]continuarão também a ter um íntimo relacionamento, tanto com o Filho [de Deus ]como com Deus Pai.
E aquilo que Deus nos disse é que [ele nos capacitará ]para viver para sempre! (aiōnios g166)
26 These things, have I written unto you, concerning them who would lead you astray.
Escrevo isto a vocês para [lhes advertir ]daqueles que [desejam ]enganá-los [acerca da verdade sobre Cristo. ]
27 And, as for you, the anointing which ye have received from him, abideth in you, and ye have, no need, that anyone be teaching you; but, as, his anointing, is teaching you, and is, true, and is no falsehood, even just as it hath taught you, abide ye in him.
No tocante a vocês, o Espírito de Deus, que vocês receberam de Cristo, permanece dentro de vocês. Por isso vocês não precisam que ninguém lhes ensine [novas doutrinas que alguém alega serem verdadeiras. ]É o Espírito de Deus que lhes ensina [toda a verdade de Deus que precisam saber. ]O Espírito de Deus fala a verdade, não é mentiroso. Portanto, continuem comportando-se da forma que o Espírito de Deus [originalmente ]lhes ensinou.
28 And, now, dear children, abide ye in him, in order that, if he be made manifest, we may have boldness, and not be shamed away from him by his presence.
Agora, [enquanto os falsos mestres tentam persuadi-los, recomendo ]urgentemente que vocês, que me são bem caros, continuem [desfrutando um íntimo relacionamento com ]Cristo. [Devemos proceder assim ]para podermos ter confiança de [que ele nos aceitará ]quando voltar. Então não iremos nos envergonhar na presença de Cristo quando ele vier.
29 If ye know that he is, righteous, ye perceive that—whosoever doeth righteousness, of him, hath been born.
Já que vocês sabem que Cristo/Deus faz sempre o que está certo, sabem também que qualquer pessoa que continue fazendo o que está certo, já se tornou filho de Deus.
