1 Corinthians 1

1 Paul, a called apostle of Jesus Christ, through God’s will, —and Sosthenes the brother, —

၁ဘုရားသခင် ၏အလို တော်အားဖြင့် ယေရှု ခရစ် ၏ တမန်တော် အရာ၌ ခန့်ထား သော ငါ ပေါလုနှင့် ငါ့ညီ သုဿင် သည်၊

2 Unto the assembly of God which is in Corinth, sanctified in Christ Jesus, called saints, —with all who call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, in every place, —their Lord and ours:

၂ယေရှု ခရစ် အားဖြင့် အပြစ် နှင့်ကင်းစင်၍ သန့်ရှင်း သူအရာ၌ ခန့်ထား သောသူတည်းဟူသော၊ ကောရိန္သု မြို့၌ ရှိ သော ဘုရားသခင် ၏ အသင်းတော် မှစ၍ခပ်သိမ်း သောအရပ် ၌ ငါ တို့သခင် ယေရှု ခရစ် ကို ပဌနာ ပြုသောသူ အပေါင်း တို့ကို ကြားလိုက်ပါ၏။

3 Favour unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and Lord Jesus Christ.

၃ထိုသခင်သည် ငါ တို့၏သခင်သာမဟုတ်၊ သင်တို့၏သခင်လည်း ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ သခင် ယေရှု ခရစ် နှင့် ငါ တို့အဘ တည်းဟူသောဘုရားသခင့် အထံတော်က ကျေးဇူး တော်နှင့် ငြိမ်သက် ခြင်းသည် သင် တို့၌ ရှိပါစေသော။

4 I give thanks unto my God, at all times, concerning you, by reason of the favour of God given unto you in Christ Jesus, —

၄အထက်ခရစ်တော် ၏ သက်သေ ကို သင် တို့တွင် တည် စေသည်ရှိသော်၊

5 That, in everything, ye have been enriched in him—in all discourse and in all knowledge;

၅သင်တို့သည် ထိုခရစ်တော် အားဖြင့် ၊ အရာရာ ၌ နှုတ် သတ္တိ၊ ဉာဏ် သတ္တိအပေါင်း နှင့် ကြွယ်ဝ ပြည့်စုံကြ သည်ဖြစ်၍ ၊

6 Even as, the witness of the Christ, hath been confirmed in you,

၆ယေရှု ခရစ် အားဖြင့် သင် တို့အားပေး တော်မူသော ဆုကျေးဇူး တော်ကို ငါထောက် ၍၊ သင် တို့ အကြောင်း ကြောင့် ငါ့ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ကျေးဇူး တော်ကို အစဉ်မပြတ် ချီးမွမ်း၏။

7 So that ye come short in no gift of favour, —ardently awaiting the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ:

၇ထိုကြောင့် သင် တို့သည် ငါ တို့သခင် ယေရှု ခရစ် ၏ ပေါ်ထွန်း တော်မူခြင်းကို မြော်လင့် ၍နေစဉ်၊ ဆု တော် တစ်စုံတစ်ခု မျှမ လျော့ ဘဲ စုံလင်လျက်ရှိကြ၏။

8 Who will also confirm you unto the end, unaccusable in the day of our Lord Jesus [Christ]:

၈သင်တို့သည် ငါ တို့သခင် ယေရှု ခရစ် ၏ နေ့ရက် ၌ အပြစ်တင် စရာအခွင့်နှင့်ကင်းလွတ်မည်အကြောင်း၊ သင် တို့ကို အဆုံး တိုင်အောင် ခိုင်ခံ့ မြဲမြံစေတော်မူလိမ့်မည်။

9 Faithful, is God, through whom ye have been called into the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

၉ငါ တို့သခင် တည်းဟူသောသား တော်မြတ်သခင် ယေရှု ခရစ် နှင့် ဆက်ဆံ ခြင်းကျေးဇူးတော်ကို သင်တို့ အား ပေး တော်မူသော ဘုရားသခင် သည် သစ္စာ နှင့်ပြည့်စုံတော်မူ၏။

10 But I beseech you, brethren, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, —that, the same thing, ye, all, be saying, and that there be not, among you, divisions; but that ye be fitly joined together—in the same mind, and in the same judgment.

၁၀ညီအစ်ကို တို့၊ သင်တို့ရှိသမျှ သည် စကား တညီတညွတ် တည်းဖြစ်၍ အချင်းချင်း မ ကွဲပြား ဘဲ စိတ် သဘော တသံ တသမတ်တည်းရှိ သည်နှင့် စေ့စပ် စုံလင်ကြမည်အကြောင်း၊ ငါ တို့သခင် ယေရှု ခရစ် ၏ နာမ တော် ကို အမှီပြု ၍ သင် တို့ကို ငါ နှိုးဆော်တောင်းပန်ပါ၏။

11 For it hath been signified unto me, concerning you, my brethren, —by them who are of [the household of] Chloe, —that there are strifes among you,

၁၁အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ငါ့ ညီအစ်ကို တို့၊ သင် တို့သည် အချင်းချင်း မသင့်၊ ရန်တွေ့ခြင်းရှိ သည်ကို၊ ခလောဣ အိမ်သားအချို့တို့သည် ပြော ကြ၏။

12 Now I mean this, —that, each one of you, is saying—I, indeed, am of Paul, but, I, of Apollos, but, I, of Cephas, but, I, of Christ:

၁၂သင် တို့က၊ ငါ သည်ပေါလု တပည့်ဖြစ် ၏။ ငါ သည် အာပေါလု တပည့်ဖြစ်၏။ ငါ သည်ကေဖ တပည့်ဖြစ်၏။ ငါ သည်ခရစ်တော် တပည့် ဖြစ်၏ဟု အသီးအသီး ပြော ကြသောကြောင့် ငါဆို ရ၏။

13 The Christ is divided! Was, Paul, crucified for you? Or, into the name of Paul, were ye immersed?

၁၃ခရစ်တော် သည် ကွဲပြား သလော။ ပေါလု သည် သင် တို့အတွက် လက်ဝါးကပ်တိုင် မှာ အသေခံပြီလော။ သို့မဟုတ် သင်တို့သည် ပေါလု ၏နာမ ၌ ဗတ္တိဇံ ကို ခံကြပြီလော။

14 I give thanks, that, none of you, did I immerse—save Crispus and Gaius,

၁၄ကရိပ္ပု နှင့် ဂါယု မှတစ်ပါး ၊ သင် တို့တွင် အဘယ်သူ အားမျှ ဗတ္တိဇံ ကို ငါမပေးသည်ဖြစ်၍ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ ကျေးဇူး တော်ရှိပါ၏။

15 Lest any should say—into my own name, I immersed:

၁၅သို့ဖြစ်၍ ပေါလုသည်မိမိ နာမ ၌ ဗတ္တိဇံ ကို ပေးသည်ဟု အဘယ်သူ မျှဆို စရာအကြောင်း မ ရှိ။

16 Yea! I immersed the house of Stephanas also, —besides, I know not whether, anyone else, I immersed.

၁၆သတေဖန် ၏အိမ်သူ အိမ်သားတို့အားလည်း ဗတ္တိဇံကို ပေး ပြီ။ ထိုမှတစ်ပါးအခြား သောသူအား ဗတ္တိဇံ ပေးသည်ကိုငါမ မှတ်မိ ။

17 For Christ sent me not, to be immersing, but to be telling the good news, —not with wisdom of discourse, lest, void should be made, the cross of the Christ.

၁၇ဗတ္တိဇံ ကိုပေးစေခြင်းငှာခရစ်တော် သည် ငါ့ ကို စေလွှတ် တော်မူသည်မ ဟုတ်။ ဧဝံဂေလိ တရားကို ဟောစေခြင်းငှာစေလွှတ်တော်မူ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း ၊ ခရစ်တော် ၏လက်ဝါးကပ်တိုင် ကို အချည်းနှီး မ ဖြစ် စေခြင်းငှာ ၊ နှုတ် ပညာ ကို အခွင့်မ ပေးဘဲနေတော်မူ၏။

18 For, the discourse which concerneth the cross, unto them, indeed, who are perishing, is, foolishness; but, unto them who are being saved—unto us, it is, God’s power.

၁၈အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ဆုံးရှုံး ခြင်းသို့ရောက်သော သူ တို့၌ လက်ဝါးကပ်တိုင် တော်တရား သည် မိုက် သော တရားဖြစ် ၏။ ကယ်တင် ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်သောငါ တို့၌ ထိုတရားသည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏ တန်ခိုး တော် ဖြစ် ၏။

19 For it is written—I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and, the discernment of the discerning, will I set aside.

၁၉ကျမ်းစာ လာသည်ကား ၊ ပညာရှိ တို့၏ ပညာ ကို ငါဖျက်ဆီး မည်။ ဉာဏ် ကောင်းသောသူ တို့၏ ဉာဏ် ကို လည်း ငါပယ် မည်ဟု လာသတည်း။

20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Hath not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? (aiōn g165)

၂၀ပညာရှိ ကားအဘယ်မှာ ရှိသနည်း။ ကျမ်းပြု ဆရာကား အဘယ်မှာ ရှိသနည်း။ ပြဿနာ ၌လေ့ကျက်သော ဆရာကား အဘယ်မှာ ရှိသနည်း။ လောကီ ပညာ ကို ဘုရားသခင် သည် မိုက် စေတော်မူသည် မ ဟုတ်လော။ (aiōn g165)

21 For, seeing that, in the wisdom of God, the world, through its wisdom, did not get to knew God, God was well-pleased—through the foolishness of the thing proclaimed, to save them that believe.

၂၁အဘယ်သို့ နည်းဟူမူကား၊ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ ပညာ တော်စီရင်သည်နှင့်အညီ၊ လောကီသား တို့သည် မိမိ တို့ပညာ အားဖြင့် ဘုရားသခင် ကို မ သိ ဘဲနေကြသောအခါ၊ ဘုရားသခင် သည် ယုံကြည် သော သူတို့ ကို ဒေသနာ တော် မိုက်မဲ ခြင်းအားဖြင့် ကယ်တင် ခြင်းငှာစေတနာ ရှိတော်မူ၏။

22 Seeing that both, Jews for signs, do ask, and, Greeks for wisdom, do seek,

၂၂ယုဒ လူတို့သည် နိမိတ် လက္ခဏာကို တောင်း တတ်ကြ၏။ ဟေလသ လူတို့သည် ပညာ ကို ရှာ တတ် ကြ၏။

23 Whereas, we, proclaim a Christ who hath been crucified, —unto Jews, indeed, an occasion of stumbling, and, unto Gentiles, foolishness;

၂၃ငါ တို့မူကား ၊ လက်ဝါးကပ်တိုင် မှာ အသေခံတော်မူသော ခရစ်တော် ၏ အကြောင်းအရာကို ဟောပြော ကြ၏။ ထိုအကြောင်းအရာသည်ကား၊ ယုဒ အမျိုးသားထိမိ ၍ လဲစရာအကြောင်းဖြစ်၏။ တစ်ပါး အမျိုးသား၌ကား၊ မိုက်မဲ ခြင်းဖြစ်၏။

24 But, unto the called themselves—both Jews and Greeks, Christ, God’s power, and, God’s wisdom.

၂၄သို့သော်လည်း ၊ ယုဒ လူဖြစ်စေ၊ ဟေလသ လူဖြစ်စေ၊ ခေါ် တော်မူသောသူ တို့၌ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ တန်ခိုး တော်နှင့် ဘုရားသခင် ၏ပညာ တော်တည်းဟူသောခရစ်တော် ၏ တရားဖြစ်၏။

25 Because, God’s foolish thing, is, wiser than men, and, God’s weak thing, mightier than men.

၂၅ဘုရားသခင် ၏မိုက်မဲ ခြင်းအရာသည် လူ တို့၏ ပညာထက်သာ၍ပညာ ရှိ ၏။ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ အားနည်း ခြင်းအရာသည် လူ တို့၏ အစွမ်းထက်သာ၍အစွမ်း ရှိ၏။

26 For be looking at the calling of you, brethren, —that [there were] not many wise, according to flesh. Not many powerful, not many high-born:

၂၆ညီအစ်ကို တို့၊ သင် တို့ကို ခေါ် တော်မူခြင်း အကြောင်း အရာကို ဆင်ခြင် ကြလော့။ ခေါ်တော်မူသော သူတို့တွင် လောကီ ပညာရှိ အများ မ ပါ။ ထင်ရှားသော လူ ကြီးအများ မ ပါ။ မင်းအမျိုးအနွယ်ဖြစ်သော သူအများ မ ပါ။

27 On the contrary—the foolish things of the world, hath God chosen, that he might put to shame them who are wise, and, the weak things of the world, hath God chosen, that he might put to shame the things that are mighty,

၂၇ဘုရားသခင် သည် ပညာရှိ တို့ကို ရှက်ကြောက် စေခြင်းငှာ ၊ လောကီ အရာ၌ မိုက်မဲ သော သူ တို့ကို ရွေးကောက် တော်မူ၏။ အစွမ်း သတ္တိရှိသော သူ တို့ကို ရှက်ကြောက် စေခြင်းငှာ ၊ လောကီ အရာ၌ အားနည်း သော သူ တို့ကို ရွေးကောက် တော်မူ၏။

28 And, the low-born things of the world, and the things that are despised, hath God chosen, —[and] the things that are not, —that, the things that are, he might bring to nought;

၂၈မြတ်သောသူတို့ကို ရှက်ကြောက် စေခြင်းငှာလောကီ အရာ ၌ ဆင်းရဲ သောသူ၊ မ ရေရာ သောသူ ၊ ယုတ် သောသူ တို့ကို ရွေးကောက် တော်မူ၏။

29 So that no flesh should boast before God.

၂၉ထိုကြောင့် ၊ ဘုရားသခင် ရှေ့ ၌ အဘယ်သူမျှ ဝါကြွား စရာ အကြောင်းမ ရှိ။

30 But, of him, are, ye, in Christ Jesus, who hath been made wisdom unto us, from God, —both righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

၃၀ထိုဘုရားသခင် အားဖြင့် သင် တို့သည် ယေရှု ခရစ် ၌ တည်နေကြ၏။ ထိုသခင် မူကား ၊ ဘုရားသခင်စီရင် တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ ငါ တို့၌ ပညာ မှစ၍ဖြောင့်မတ် ခြင်း၊ သန့်ရှင်း ခြင်း၊ ရွေးနှုတ် ခြင်းဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။

31 In order that, even as it is written—He that boasteth, in the Lord, let him boast.

၃၁သို့ဖြစ်၍ ၊ ကျမ်းစာ လာသည်နှင့်အညီ ၊ ဝါကြွား သောသူ မည်သည်ကား၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရား၌ သာဝါကြွား စေ။
