< 1 Corinthians 9 >
1 Am not free? Am I not an apostle? Jesus our Lord, have I not seen? Are not, ye, my work, in the Lord?
Afiꞌ duꞌa mae, au nda uꞌena hak fo suraꞌ taꞌo ia fee nggi sa. Huu Lamatualain denu au uu dui-bꞌengga neu atahori soꞌal Eni. Au o parna ita Yesus, hita Lamatuan. Au nenepaꞌaꞌ uꞌubꞌue ukundoo o E, boe ma basa hei o mimihere neu E boe, huu au tatao ngga.
2 If, unto others, I am not an apostle, certainly at least, unto you, I am; for, the seal of my apostleship, ye, are in the Lord.
Huu hei feꞌe nenepaꞌaꞌ mo hita Lamatuan!
3 My defence, unto them who are examining me, is this:
Au ae utaa baliꞌ mbali atahori mana hiiꞌ a fua salaꞌ neu au, taꞌo ia:
4 Have we not a right to eat and drink?
Hei duꞌa mae, au o Barnabas nda miꞌena hak fo simbo nanaa-nininuꞌ mia atahori fo hai minoriꞌ ra sa, do?
5 Have we not a right to take round, a sister wife, —as even the rest of the apostles, and the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?
Hei duꞌa mae, hai nda miꞌena hak fo sao ina Kristen mana bisa tungga hai mii milalao ue-tataos sia mamanaꞌ laen ra, do? Tao-tao te Lamatuaꞌ dedꞌenun laen ra ro sira sao nara boe. Lamatuaꞌ odi nara onaꞌ naa boe. Petrus o tao onaꞌ naa boe!
6 Or have, only I and Barnabas, not a right to forbear working?
Do, hei duꞌa mae, akaꞌ au o Barnabas mesaꞌ nggi musi tao ues sangga doiꞌ, fo misodꞌa ma minori atahori?
7 Who serveth as a soldier, at his own charges, at any time? Who planteth a vineyard, —and, the fruit thereof, doth not eat? [Or] who shepherdeth a flock, —and, of the milk of the flock, doth not eat?
Hei dudꞌuꞌa mara naa, netehun saa? Mete atahori mana ue-tao sia osi anggor a. Esa nda ena-ai e nae, “Afiꞌ mua anggor boa nara!” Mete manatadꞌa ra. Naꞌena hak fo hese susu mia bibꞌi fo ana naneaꞌ ra.
8 Is it, after the manner of men, that these things I am saying? Or doth not, even the law, the same things, say?
Au nda olaꞌ taꞌo naa tunggaꞌ a au, atahori biasa ia dudꞌuꞌan. Huu Lamatualain Hohoro-lalane nara o rafadꞌe dalaꞌ onaꞌ naa boe.
9 For, in the law of Moses, it is written—Thou shalt not muzzle an ox when it is treading out the corn: —Is it, for the oxen, God is caring?
Sia baꞌi Musa hohoro-lalanen nenesuraꞌ oi, “Leleꞌ sapi a tatabꞌu are fo ou hendi deke nara mia mbulen, afiꞌ rapa bafan fo nda naa nala sa.” Hei duꞌa mae Lamatualain nae hela neu fo akaꞌ sapi a naa nala, do?
10 Or, for our sakes altogether, is he saying it? For our sakes, it was written; because, he that ploweth, ought, to plow, in hope, —and, he that thresheth, [to thresh] in hope of partaking.
Hokoꞌ! Ana o olaꞌ nae tao mataꞌ nema nggita boe! Huu nenesuraꞌ oi, “Atahori mana tatati rae, ma atahori mana senggi etu oru ra, leleꞌ ara tao ues, ara o bubꞌuluꞌ rae, dei fo sira simbo babꞌanggin boe.” Onaꞌ naa boe, maloleꞌ mete ma dedꞌenuꞌ atahori Kristen ra bisa simbo babꞌanggiꞌ mia sira ue-tataos nara mbule-bꞌoa nara. Huu leleꞌ hai minori nggi dala-dalaꞌ mia Lamatualain Dula-dalen, naa onaꞌ atahori mana tao tine-osi sa sela nggari. Dadꞌi leleꞌ hai minori basa, na, nda saa sa boe mete ma hai simbo nanaa-nininuꞌ mia nggi. Huu naa memaꞌ nandaa!
11 If, we, unto you, the things of the Spirit have sown, is it a great matter, if, we, of you, the things of the flesh shall reap?
12 If, others, of this right, over you, are partaking, [should] not rather, we? nevertheless, we used not this right; but, all [such] things, do we conceal, —lest we should cause any hindrance unto the glad message of the Christ.
Atahori laen mana nanori nggi naꞌena hak fo simbo nanaat no sudꞌiꞌ a saa laen mia nggi, to? Boe ma hai naa, taꞌo bee? Hai hak ma lenaꞌ se fai! Te ama bubꞌuluꞌ ena. Hai nda parna miꞌisusuuꞌ mendiꞌ hai hak ma taꞌo naa sa. Hai miꞌitataaꞌ sia dalaꞌ mataꞌ-mataꞌ, fo nda tao kai-baaꞌ mbali nggi sa. No taꞌo naa, ama hii rena Kristus Hara-lii Malolen fo hai dui neu nggi.
13 Know ye not that, they who labour in the holy rites, do eat the provisions out of the holy place? They who at the altar wait, do, with the altar, share?
Duꞌa sobꞌa! Malangga agama mana nalalao sia atahori Yahudi ra Ume Hule-oꞌe Huuꞌ naa, rasodꞌa mia tutunu-hohotuꞌ fo atahori ra rendiꞌ a. Boe ma atahori mana lole-lau sia mei tunu-hotuꞌ a, bisa raa sisi mia banda fo atahori rendiꞌ a.
14 Thus, also, hath the Lord, appointed—that, they who the glad message tell, should, of the glad-message, live.
Onaꞌ naa boe, Lamatualain helu-fuli nae, atahori mana laoꞌ dui-bꞌengga Kristus Hara-lii Malolen, rasodꞌa mia sira ue-tataon buna-bꞌoan. Onaꞌ naa fo matetuꞌ.
15 I, however, have not used any of these things; and have not written these things, in order that, so it should be done, in my case; for it were, good for me, rather to die than——my boast, shall, no man, make void!
16 For, if I be telling the glad-message, it is, with me, no matter of boasting; for, necessity, upon me, lieth, —for it is, Woe to me, if I should not be telling the glad-message;
17 For, if, by choice, this thing I am doing, I have, a reward; but, if not by choice, with a stewardship, have I been entrusted!
Ana namahere au unea sudꞌiꞌ a saa mafelit naa ra.
18 What, then, is my reward? that, in telling the glad-message, free of cost, I should put the glad-message, —to the end I should not use to the full my right in the glad-message.
19 For, though free from all, unto all, myself, I enslaved, —that, the larger number, I might win:
Au ia, atahori bebꞌas mana tao ues tungga hihii-nanau ngga. Atahori nda raꞌena hak fo denu au tao ues ia do naa sa. Mae onaꞌ naa o, au tao ao ngga onaꞌ ate, fo basa atahori raꞌena hak denu au. No taꞌo naa, au bisa tulu-fali atahori hetar lenaꞌ fai fo ara raꞌatataaꞌ tungga Lamatualain.
20 Therefore became I, to the Jews, as, a Jew, —that, Jews, I might win; to them who were under law, as, under law, not being, myself, under law, —that, them who were under law, I might win;
Dadꞌi mete ma au uꞌubꞌue o atahori Yahudi ra, na, tao ao ngga onaꞌ atahori Yahudi ra, fo tulu-fali atahori Yahudi ra fo rahine Lamatuaꞌ.
21 To them who were without law, as, without law, —not being without law to God, but lawfully subject to Christ, —that I might win them who were without law.
(Au nda mboꞌi hendi Lamatualain Hohoro-lalanen fo Ana naꞌondaꞌ fee baꞌi Musa, te aleꞌ ia au usodꞌa endiꞌ Kristus Hohoro-lalanen).
22 I became, unto the weak, weak, —that, the weak, I might win; —to all men, have I become all things, that, by all means, some, I might save.
Soaꞌ neu atahori rala nda manabeꞌiꞌ ra sa, na au tao rala ngga onaꞌ nda manabeꞌiꞌ sa boe, fo bisa kokoe se risiꞌ Lamatualain. Soaꞌ neu basa atahori, au tao ao ngga onaꞌ se, naa fo ona bee na, au bisa tulu-fali fee masoi-masodꞌaꞌ neu atahori ruma.
23 But, all things, am I doing, for the sake of the glad-message, that a joint-partaker thereof, I may become.
Au tao basa dalaꞌ ia ra, naa fo basa atahori bisa ramahere Lamatuaꞌ Hara-lii Malolen. No taꞌo naa, hita bisa hambu babꞌanggiꞌ sia basa dala maloleꞌ ra, fo Lamatualain hii nae fee nggita.
24 Know ye not that, they who, in a racecourse, run, all, indeed, run, —but, one, receiveth the prize? So, be running, that ye may lay hold.
Au fee nekendandaaꞌ mia mana rela masesesuꞌ ra. Atahori hetar tungga relaꞌ, te manasesu maꞌahuluꞌ a, akaꞌ atahori esaꞌ a. Dadꞌi hei esa-esa musi melaꞌ mihereꞌ fo sesu miꞌihuluꞌ soaꞌ neu Lamatualain.
25 But, every man who striveth in the games, in all things, useth self-control; —they, indeed, then, that a corruptible crown, they may receive; but, we, an incorruptible!
Basa atahori mana tungga relaꞌ, musi relaꞌ tebꞌe-tebꞌeꞌ tungga neu akaꞌ saa fo mana nanoriꞌ a nafadꞌe, to? Ara tao ues ritaꞌ mamate nara onaꞌ naa, fo hambuꞌ a solo langgaꞌ sesesuꞌ mana dei fo mopoꞌ a.
26 I, therefore, so, am running, as, not uncertainly, so, am boxing, as not thrashing air;
27 But am beating my body under, and leading it captive, lest, by any means, —unto others, having proclaimed, [the contest], I myself, should be rejected.
Au tao tungga dalan ma unori no tebꞌe-tebꞌeꞌ fo bisa uꞌutataaꞌ.
