1 Corinthians 8

1 Now, concerning the idol-sacrifices, we are aware—because we, all, have knowledge, —knowledge, puffeth up, but, love, buildeth up;

၁ရုပ်တု ရှေ့၌ပူဇော်သော ယဇ်ကောင်အရာ မှာ၊ ငါတို့ရှိသမျှ သည် ပိုင်းခြားတတ်သော ဉာဏ် ရှိသည် ကို ငါတို့သိ ကြ၏။ ဉာဏ် သည် ထောင်လွှား စေတတ်၏။ မေတ္တာ မူကား တည်ဆောက် တတ်၏။

2 If anyone thinketh that he knoweth anything, not yet knoweth he, as he must needs come to know,

၂အကြင်သူ သည်၊ ငါကားပညာရှိ ဖြစ်သည်ဟူ၍စိတ်ထင် ၏။ ထို သူသည် သိ အပ် သည်အတိုင်း အလျှင်း မ သိသေး။

3 But, if anyone loveth God, the same, is known of him—

၃ဘုရားသခင် ကိုချစ် သော သူ မည်သည်ကား ၊ ဘုရားသခင် သိ စေတော်မူသောသူ ဖြစ်၏။

4 Concerning, then, the eating of idol-sacrifices, we are aware—that an idol is, nothing, in the world, and that, none, is God save one.

၄ရုပ်တု ရှေ့၌ ပူဇော်သော ယဇ်ကောင်ကို စား ခြင်းအရာ မှာ၊ ရုပ်တု သည် ဤလောက ၌ အချည်းနှီး သက်သက်ဖြစ်သည်ကို၎င်း၊ တဆူတည်း သော ဘုရားသခင် မှတစ်ပါး အဘယ် ဘုရားသခင်မျှမ ရှိသည်ကို၎င်း၊ ငါတို့သိ ကြ၏။

5 For, if indeed there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or upon earth, —as indeed there are gods many and lords many,

၅ဘုရား များ ၊ အရှင် များ ဟုဆိုသည်အတိုင်း ကောင်းကင် ပေါ် ၊ မြေကြီး ပေါ်မှာ ဘုရား ဟူ၍ခေါ်ဝေါ် သမုတ်သော သူအများရှိ သော်လည်း ၊

6 [Yet], to us, there is one God the Father, of whom are all things, and, we, for him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and, we, through him.

၆အကြင်ဘုရားသခင်အထဲ က ခပ်သိမ်း သော အရာဖြစ်၍၊ အကြင်ဘုရားသခင် အဘို့ အလိုငှာငါ တို့သည် ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ထိုခမည်းတော် ဘုရားသခင် တစ်ပါးတည်း သာ ငါ တို့၌ ရှိတော်မူ၏။ အကြင်သခင်အားဖြင့် ငါ တို့မှစ၍ ခပ်သိမ်း သောအရာဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ထိုသခင် ယေရှု ခရစ် တစ်ပါးတည်း သာငါတို့၌ရှိတော်မူ၏။

7 Howbeit, not in all, is the knowledge; but, some, by their familiarity, until even now, with the idol, as an idol-sacrifice, eat it, and, their conscience, being, weak, is defiled.

၇သို့သော်လည်း ထို ဉာဏ် ကို လူ တိုင်းမ ရ။ အချို့ သော သူတို့သည် ယခု တိုင်အောင် ရုပ်တု ရှေ့၌ ပူဇော် သော ယဇ်ကောင်ကိုစား သော်၊ ရုပ်တု ကို ထောက်သော စိတ်နှင့်စားကြသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ သူ တို့၌ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ် သိသော စိတ်သည်အားနည်း သောကြောင့် ညစ်ညူး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်တတ်၏။

8 Food, indeed, will not commend us unto God, —neither, if we eat not, do we lack, nor, if we eat, do we abound.

၈အစား အသောက်အားဖြင့်ဘုရားသခင် ရှေ့ မှာ မျက်နှာရသည်မ ဟုတ်။ အစာကိုသုံး ကာ မျှဖြင့်မြတ် သည် မဟုတ်။ ရှောင် ကာ မျှဖြင့် ယုတ် သည်မ ဟုတ်။

9 But be taking heed, lest, by any means, your right, itself, become, an occasion of stumbling, unto the weak;

၉သို့သော်လည်း ၊ သင် တို့အခွင့် ကိုအားနည်း သော သူ တို့၌ ထိမိ ၍ လဲစရာအကြောင်း မ ဖြစ် စေခြင်းငှာသတိပြု ကြလော့။

10 For, if anyone should see [thee] who hast knowledge, in an idol-temple, reclining, will not, his conscience, being, weak, be built up for the eating of the idol-sacrifices?

၁၀အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ သင် သည် ပိုင်းခြားတတ်သော ဉာဏ် ရှိ လျက်ပင်၊ ရုပ်တု စင်ထဲ၌ စားပွဲနားမှာ လျောင်း သည်ကို သူတစ်ပါး မြင် လျှင် ၊ ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ် သိသော စိတ်အားနည်း သောသူ သည်၊ ရုပ်တု ရှေ့၌ ပူဇော်သော ယဇ်ကောင်ကို စား ခြင်းငှာရဲမည်မဟုတ်လော။

11 In fact, he that is weak, is being destroyed, by thy knowledge—the brother for whose sake Christ died.

၁၁ထိုသို့ဖြစ်လျှင်၊ အကြင်ညီအစ်ကို အဘို့ အလို့ငှာခရစ်တော် သည် အသေခံ တော်မူ၏။ အားနည်း သော ထို ညီအစ်ကိုသည် သင် ၏ဉာဏ် ကြောင့် ပျက်စီး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ရပါသည်တကား ၊

12 But, in thus sinning against the brethren am wounding their conscience, seeing it is weak, against Christ, are ye sinning.

၁၂သင်တို့သည်၊ ညီအစ်ကို တို့ကို ထိုသို့ ပြစ်မှား ၍ သူ တို့၌ ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ် သိသော အားနည်း သောစိတ်ကို ထိခိုက် သောအခါ၊ ခရစ်တော် ကိုလည်း ပြစ်မှား ရာသို့ ရောက်၏။

13 Therefore, if food is an occasion of stumbling unto my brother, in nowise will I eat flesh unto the age that abideth, —that, I may not occasion, my brother, to stumble. (aiōn g165)

၁၃သို့ဖြစ်၍ ၊ ငါ၏အစား အသောက်သည် ငါ့ ညီအစ်ကို ကို မှားယွင်း စေလျှင် ၊ ငါ့ ညီအစ်ကို ၌ မှားယွင်း စရာအကြောင်းမ ရှိစေခြင်းငှာ ၊ အမဲသား ကို အစဉ်မပြတ် ရှောင် မည်။ (aiōn g165)
