1 Corinthians 6
1 Dare any of you, having, a matter against his brother, sue for judgment before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?
Umwe wenyu anoti ane mhosva neumwe unotsunga kutongwa pamberi pevasakarurama uye pasiri pamberi pevatsvene here?
2 Or know ye not that, the saints, shall judge the world? And, if, by you, the world, is to be judged, unworthy are ye of the smallest judgment-seats?
Hamuzivi here kuti vatsvene vachatonga nyika? Zvino kana nyika ichizotongwa nemwi, hamuna kufanira kutonga mhosva diki-diki here?
3 Know ye not that we shall judge, messengers? and not, then, matters of this life?
Hamuzivi here kuti tichatonga vatumwa? Zvikuru sei zveupenyu huno?
4 If, then, for matters of this, life ye have judgment-seats, them who are of no account in the assembly, these, are ye seating thereupon?
Naizvozvo kana mune mhosva dzezvinhu zveupenyu huno, vagadzei avo vanozvidzwa pakereke vatonge.
5 With a view to shame you, am I speaking. So, is it possible that there is among you—not so much as one wise man, who shall be able to judge between his brethren, —
Ndinotaura kuti munyare. Naizvozvo hakuna munhu wakachenjera pakati penyu here, kana neumwe, angagona kutonga pakati pehama dzake?
6 But, brother with brother, sueth for judgment, and that before unbelievers?
Asi hama inomhan'arira hama, uye izvi achizviita pamberi pevasingatendi.
7 Already, indeed, it is an utter defeat for you, that ye are having, law-suits, one with another. Wherefore are ye not rather taking wrong? Wherefore are ye not rather suffering yourselves to be defrauded?
Zvino naizvozvo patova nekukundikana kwazvo pakati penyu, kuti munomhan'arirana. Munoregerei kutenda kutadzirwa pakudaro? Munoregerei kutenda kubiridzirwa pakudaro?
8 Nay! but, ye, are doing wrong, and defrauding, —and that [your] brethren.
Asi imwi munotadza nekubiridzira, uye izvi munozviita kuhama.
9 Or know ye not that, wrong-doers, shall not inherit, God’s kingdom? Be not deceiving yourselves: —neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor sodomites,
Kana hamuzivi here kuti vasakarurama havazogari nhaka yeushe hwaMwari? Musatsauswa; hakuna mhombwe, kana vanamati vezvifananidzo, kana zvifeve, kana vakapata paungochani, kana vanorara nevamwe varume,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners—shall inherit, God’s kingdom.
kana mbavha, kana vachivi, kana vararadzi, kana vatuki, kana vapambi, vachagara nhaka yeushe hwaMwari.
11 And, these things, were some of you; but ye bathed them away, —but ye were sanctified, but ye were justified, in the name of [our] Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.
Uye vamwe venyu vakange vari izvozvi; asi makashambidzwa, asi makaitwa vatsvene, asi makanzi makarurama muzita raIshe Jesu, uye neMweya waMwari wedu.
12 All things, unto me, are allowable, but, not all things, are profitable: all things, unto me, are allowable, but, I, will not be brought under authority by any.
Zvinhu zvese zviri pamutemo kwandiri, asi hazvisi zvinhu zvese zvinobatsira; zvinhu zvese zviri pamutemo kwandiri, asi ini handizotongwi nechinhu.
13 Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods; but, God, will set aside, both it and them. The body, however, is not for fornication, but, for the Lord, —and, the Lord, for the body.
Kudya ndekwedumbu, nedumbu nderezvekudya; asi Mwari achaparadza zviri zviviri iro naizvo. Zvino muviri hausi weupombwe, asi waIshe, naIshe ndevemuviri.
14 God, moreover, hath both raised up, the Lord, and will raise, us, up from among [the dead] through his power.
Uye Mwari wakamutsa Ishewo achatimutsa nesu nesimba rake.
15 Know ye not that, your bodies, are, members of Christ? Shall I, then, take away the members of the Christ and make them members of a harlot? Far be it!
Hamuzivi here kuti miviri yenyu mitezo yaKristu? Zvino ndichatora mitezo yaKristu ndikaita mitezo yechifeve here? Ngazvisadaro!
16 Or know ye not that, he that joineth himself unto the harlot, is, one body? For, saith he, the two, shall become, one flesh;
Kana hamuzivi kuti anobatanidzwa nechifeve wava muviri umwe nacho here? Nokuti ava vaviri, anoti, vachava nyama imwe.
17 But, he that joineth himself unto the Lord, is, one Spirit.
Asi anobatanidzwa naIshe wava mweya umwe naye.
18 Flee fornication! Every sin, whatsoever a man shall commit, is, outside his body, but, he that committeth fornication, bringeth sin into his own body.
Tizai upombwe. Chivi chese munhu chaanoita chiri kunze kwemuviri; asi anoita upombwe anotadzira muviri wake amene.
19 Or know ye not that, your body, is, a shrine of the Holy Spirit that is within you, which ye have from God? And ye are not your own; —
Kana hamuzivi here kuti muviri wenyu itembere yaMweya Mutsvene ari mamuri, wamunaye achibva kuna Mwari, uye imwi hamusi venyu?
20 For ye have been bought with a price! Therefore glorify God in your body.
Nokuti makatengwa nemutengo; naizvozvo rumbidzai Mwari mumuviri wenyu, uye mumweya wenyu, zviri zvaMwari.
