1 Corinthians 6
1 Dare any of you, having, a matter against his brother, sue for judgment before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?
யுஷ்மாகமேகஸ்ய ஜநஸ்யாபரேண ஸஹ விவாதே³ ஜாதே ஸ பவித்ரலோகை ர்விசாரமகாரயந் கிம் அதா⁴ர்ம்மிகலோகை ர்விசாரயிதும்’ ப்ரோத்ஸஹதே?
2 Or know ye not that, the saints, shall judge the world? And, if, by you, the world, is to be judged, unworthy are ye of the smallest judgment-seats?
ஜக³தோ(அ)பி விசாரணம்’ பவித்ரலோகை: காரிஷ்யத ஏதத்³ யூயம்’ கிம்’ ந ஜாநீத²? அதோ ஜக³த்³ யதி³ யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்விசாரயிதவ்யம்’ தர்ஹி க்ஷுத்³ரதமவிசாரேஷு யூயம்’ கிமஸமர்தா²: ?
3 Know ye not that we shall judge, messengers? and not, then, matters of this life?
தூ³தா அப்யஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்விசாரயிஷ்யந்த இதி கிம்’ ந ஜாநீத²? அத ஐஹிகவிஷயா: கிம் அஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்ந விசாரயிதவ்யா ப⁴வேயு: ?
4 If, then, for matters of this, life ye have judgment-seats, them who are of no account in the assembly, these, are ye seating thereupon?
ஐஹிகவிஷயஸ்ய விசாரே யுஷ்மாபி⁴: கர்த்தவ்யே யே லோகா: ஸமிதௌ க்ஷுத்³ரதமாஸ்த ஏவ நியுஜ்யந்தாம்’|
5 With a view to shame you, am I speaking. So, is it possible that there is among you—not so much as one wise man, who shall be able to judge between his brethren, —
அஹம்’ யுஷ்மாந் த்ரபயிதுமிச்ச²ந் வதா³மி ய்ரு’ஷ்மந்மத்⁴யே கிமேகோ(அ)பி மநுஷ்யஸ்தாத்³ரு’க்³ பு³த்³தி⁴மாந்நஹி யோ ப்⁴ராத்ரு’விவாத³விசாரணே ஸமர்த²: ஸ்யாத்?
6 But, brother with brother, sueth for judgment, and that before unbelievers?
கிஞ்சைகோ ப்⁴ராதா ப்⁴ராத்ராந்யேந கிமவிஸ்²வாஸிநாம்’ விசாரகாணாம்’ ஸாக்ஷாத்³ விவத³தே? யஷ்மந்மத்⁴யே விவாதா³ வித்³யந்த ஏதத³பி யுஷ்மாகம்’ தோ³ஷ: |
7 Already, indeed, it is an utter defeat for you, that ye are having, law-suits, one with another. Wherefore are ye not rather taking wrong? Wherefore are ye not rather suffering yourselves to be defrauded?
யூயம்’ குதோ(அ)ந்யாயஸஹநம்’ க்ஷதிஸஹநம்’ வா ஸ்²ரேயோ ந மந்யத்⁴வே?
8 Nay! but, ye, are doing wrong, and defrauding, —and that [your] brethren.
கிந்து யூயமபி ப்⁴ராத்ரு’நேவ ப்ரத்யந்யாயம்’ க்ஷதிஞ்ச குருத² கிமேதத்?
9 Or know ye not that, wrong-doers, shall not inherit, God’s kingdom? Be not deceiving yourselves: —neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor sodomites,
ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ராஜ்யே(அ)ந்யாயகாரிணாம்’ லோகாநாமதி⁴காரோ நாஸ்த்யேதத்³ யூயம்’ கிம்’ ந ஜாநீத²? மா வஞ்ச்யத்⁴வம்’, யே வ்யபி⁴சாரிணோ தே³வார்ச்சிந: பாரதா³ரிகா: ஸ்த்ரீவதா³சாரிண: பும்’மைது²நகாரிணஸ்தஸ்கரா
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners—shall inherit, God’s kingdom.
லோபி⁴நோ மத்³யபா நிந்த³கா உபத்³ராவிணோ வா த ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ராஜ்யபா⁴கி³நோ ந ப⁴விஷ்யந்தி|
11 And, these things, were some of you; but ye bathed them away, —but ye were sanctified, but ye were justified, in the name of [our] Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.
யூயஞ்சைவம்’விதா⁴ லோகா ஆஸ்த கிந்து ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்யீஸோ² ர்நாம்நாஸ்மதீ³ஸ்²வரஸ்யாத்மநா ச யூயம்’ ப்ரக்ஷாலிதா: பாவிதா: ஸபுண்யீக்ரு’தாஸ்²ச|
12 All things, unto me, are allowable, but, not all things, are profitable: all things, unto me, are allowable, but, I, will not be brought under authority by any.
மத³ர்த²ம்’ ஸர்வ்வம்’ த்³ரவ்யம் அப்ரதிஷித்³த⁴ம்’ கிந்து ந ஸர்வ்வம்’ ஹிதஜநகம்’| மத³ர்த²ம்’ ஸர்வ்வமப்ரதிஷித்³த⁴ம்’ ததா²ப்யஹம்’ கஸ்யாபி த்³ரவ்யஸ்ய வஸீ²க்ரு’தோ ந ப⁴விஷ்யாமி|
13 Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods; but, God, will set aside, both it and them. The body, however, is not for fornication, but, for the Lord, —and, the Lord, for the body.
உத³ராய ப⁴க்ஷ்யாணி ப⁴க்ஷ்யேப்⁴யஸ்²சோத³ரம்’, கிந்து ப⁴க்ஷ்யோத³ரே ஈஸ்²வரேண நாஸ²யிஷ்யேதே; அபரம்’ தே³ஹோ ந வ்யபி⁴சாராய கிந்து ப்ரப⁴வே ப்ரபு⁴ஸ்²ச தே³ஹாய|
14 God, moreover, hath both raised up, the Lord, and will raise, us, up from among [the dead] through his power.
யஸ்²சேஸ்²வர: ப்ரபு⁴முத்தா²பிதவாந் ஸ ஸ்வஸ²க்த்யாஸ்மாநப்யுத்தா²பயிஷ்யதி|
15 Know ye not that, your bodies, are, members of Christ? Shall I, then, take away the members of the Christ and make them members of a harlot? Far be it!
யுஷ்மாகம்’ யாநி ஸ²ரீராணி தாநி க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்யாங்கா³நீதி கிம்’ யூயம்’ ந ஜாநீத²? அத: க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய யாந்யங்கா³நி தாநி மயாபஹ்ரு’த்ய வேஸ்²யாயா அங்கா³நி கிம்’ காரிஷ்யந்தே? தந்ந ப⁴வது|
16 Or know ye not that, he that joineth himself unto the harlot, is, one body? For, saith he, the two, shall become, one flesh;
ய: கஸ்²சித்³ வேஸ்²யாயாம் ஆஸஜ்யதே ஸ தயா ஸஹைகதே³ஹோ ப⁴வதி கிம்’ யூயமேதந்ந ஜாநீத²? யதோ லிகி²தமாஸ்தே, யதா², தௌ த்³வௌ ஜநாவேகாங்கௌ³ ப⁴விஷ்யத: |
17 But, he that joineth himself unto the Lord, is, one Spirit.
மாநவா யாந்யந்யாநி கலுஷாணி குர்வ்வதே தாநி வபு ர்ந ஸமாவிஸ²ந்தி கிந்து வ்யபி⁴சாரிணா ஸ்வவிக்³ரஹஸ்ய விருத்³த⁴ம்’ கல்மஷம்’ க்ரியதே|
18 Flee fornication! Every sin, whatsoever a man shall commit, is, outside his body, but, he that committeth fornication, bringeth sin into his own body.
மாநவா யாந்யந்யாநி கலுஷாணி குர்வ்வதே தாநி வபு ர்ந ஸமாவிஸ²ந்தி கிந்து வ்யபி⁴சாரிணா ஸ்வவிக்³ரஹஸ்ய விருத்³த⁴ம்’ கல்மஷம்’ க்ரியதே|
19 Or know ye not that, your body, is, a shrine of the Holy Spirit that is within you, which ye have from God? And ye are not your own; —
யுஷ்மாகம்’ யாநி வபூம்’ஸி தாநி யுஷ்மத³ந்த: ஸ்தி²தஸ்யேஸ்²வரால்லப்³த⁴ஸ்ய பவித்ரஸ்யாத்மநோ மந்தி³ராணி யூயஞ்ச ஸ்வேஷாம்’ ஸ்வாமிநோ நாத்⁴வே கிமேதத்³ யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்ந ஜ்ஞாயதே?
20 For ye have been bought with a price! Therefore glorify God in your body.
யூயம்’ மூல்யேந க்ரீதா அதோ வபுர்மநோப்⁴யாம் ஈஸ்²வரோ யுஷ்மாபி⁴: பூஜ்யதாம்’ யத ஈஸ்²வர ஏவ தயோ: ஸ்வாமீ|
