< 1 Corinthians 3 >
1 I, therefore, brethren, have not been able to speak unto you, as unto men of the Spirit, but as unto men of the flesh—as unto babes in Christ: —
2 With milk, have I fed you, not, with meat; for, not yet, have ye been able; —nay! not [yet] even now, are ye able,
Yaganikiwayi kuvaliha kwa mavele, lepi kwa chakulya chiyumu, muni mwajitendelekili lepi kupokela. Ndi mbaka hinu mwakona kujitendelekela.
3 For ye are yet fleshly. For, whereas there are, among you, jealousy and strife, are ye not, fleshly, and, after the manner of men, walking?
Muni nyenye mwakona vandu va pamulima. Wu, lepi chakaka kwakona kuvi na wihu na ngondo pagati yinu? Mambu ago gilangisa njwe kuvya nyenye mwakona vandu va pamulima, mwitama wumi wa chimundu.
4 For, as soon as one beginneth to say—I, indeed, am of Paul! and another—I, of Apollos! are ye not, men?
Mmonga winu peijova, “nene ndi mlanda wa Pauli,” Na yungi ijova, “nene ndi mlanda wa Apolo,” Wu, yeniyo yilangisa lepi kuvya mwakona mwitama ngati vandu va mulima uwu?
5 What then is Apollos? and, what is Paul? ministers through whom ye believed, and, each, as the Lord, gave to him.
Hinu, Apolo ndi yani? Na Pauli ndi yani? Tete ndi vatumisi va Chapanga, mwativaletili nyenye sadika. Kila mmonga winu ihenga lihengu leapewili na BAMBU.
6 I, planted, Apollos, watered, —but, God, caused to, grow.
Nene namijili mbeyu na Apolo ayitilili manji, nambu Chapanga ndi mweaimelisi.
7 So that, [neither] is he that planteth anything, nor, he that watereth, —but, God, who causeth to, grow.
Mweamijili na mweayitalili manji chindu lepi, Chapanga ndi mwamelisi mbeyu.
8 Moreover, he that planteth and he that watereth, are one: —howbeit, each one, his own reward, shall receive, —according to his own labour.
Yula mwamijili na mweiyitalili manji voha vamonga, Chapanga yati akumpela njombi kila mundu ndava ya lihengu laki leakitili.
9 For we are, God’s, fellow-workmen: ye are, God’s, farm, God’s building.
Muni tete ndi vahenga lihengu va Chapanga, na nyenye ndi mgunda waki. Mewawa nyenye ndi lijengu la Chapanga.
10 According to the favour of God which hath been given unto me, as a wise master-builder, I laid a foundation, whereas, another, is building thereon; but, let each one, see, how he buildeth thereon;
Ndava ya ubwina wa Chapanga nipewili lihengu ili, ngati mundu mweavi na luhala mweijenga, navikili mkingisa mundu yungi ijenga panani yaki. Ndi chabwina kila mundu alola bwina cheijenga.
11 For, other foundation, can, no one, lay, than that which is lying, which is, Jesus Christ.
Kawaka mundu mweihotola kuvika mkingisa panani ya mkingisa wungi, neju ya wula weumali kuvikiwa ndi Yesu Kilisitu.
12 But, if anyone is building, upon the foundation—gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,
13 Each one’s work, shall be made, manifest; for, the day, will make it plain, because, by fire, is it to be revealed, —and, each one’s work, of what sort it is, the fire itself will prove: —
14 If, anyone’s work, shall abide, which he built, a reward, shall he receive, —
Yikavya cheajengili mundu panani ya mkingisa wenuo chitinyika lepi na motu wenuo, yati ipewa njombi,
15 If, anyone’s work, shall be burnt up, he shall suffer loss, but shall, himself, be saved—though, thus, as through fire.
Ngati chajengili yati chitinyika, yati ikosa njombi yaki, nambu mwene yati isanguliwa ngati mundu mwealemili mumotu.
16 Know ye not that ye are a shrine of God, and that the Spirit of God within you doth dwell?
17 If anyone doth mar the shrine of God, God, will mar him; for the shrine of God is holy, —and such are ye.
Hinu, mundu mwaihalabisa Nyumba ya Chapanga ya msopi, Chapanga yati akumuhalabisa mewa, muni Nyumba ya Chapanga, yene ndi nyenye.
18 Let no one be deceiving himself: —if anyone imagineth himself to be wise among you, in this age, let him become foolish, that he may become wise; (aiōn )
Mundu yoyoha akotoka kujikonga, pagati yinu kujilola kuvya avi na luhala wa pamulima, mbanga avyai myimu muni apatayi luhala lwa chakaka. (aiōn )
19 For, the wisdom of this world, is, foolishness with God; for it is written—He that taketh the wise in their knavery, —
Muni luhala lwa pamulima ndi uyimu palongolo ya Chapanga. Mayandiku Gamsopi gijova, “Chapanga akuvadapa vevavi na luhala mukuchejela kwavi.”
20 And again—The Lord taketh note of the speculations of the wise, that they are vain.
Na Mayandiku gangi gijova, “BAMBU amanyili kuvya maholo ga vevavi na luhala kuvya gangali lihengu.”
21 So then, let, no one, be boasting in men; for, all things, are yours—
Hinu, mundu akotoka kuvamekela vandu. Muni kila chindu ndi chinu.
22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come, all, are, yours,
Yikavya Pauli amala Apolo amala Kefa, mulima amala wumi amala lifwa, mambu ga hinu amala gegibwela goha ginu nyenye.
23 And, ye, are Christ’s, —and, Christ, is, God’s.
