1 Corinthians 16
1 Now, concerning the collection which is for the saints, just as I directed the assemblies of Galatia, so, also do, ye: —
Nu om den undsättning till de heliga, såsom jag i de församlingar uti Galatia befallt hafver, så görer ock I.
2 Upon the first of the week, let, each one of you, put, by itself, in store, as he may be prospering, —lest, as soon as I come, then, collections, should be in progress.
Ju på den ena Sabbathen lägge hvar och en af eder när sig sjelf, och samke tillhopa hvad han åstadkommer; på det, då jag kommer, icke skola då först samlas samma undsättningar.
3 And, as soon as I arrive, whomsoever ye shall approve by letters, these, will I send, to bear away your favour unto Jerusalem:
Men då jag kommen är, de som I då med edart bref dertill hafva viljen, dem vill jag sända, att de framföra edra gåfvor till Jerusalem.
4 And, if it be meet that, I also, be journeying, with me, shall they journey.
Om så behöfves, att jag ock far dit, då måga de följa mig.
5 Now I will come unto you, as soon as I have passed through Macedonia, —for I do pass through Macedonia,
Men jag vill komma till eder, när jag drager genom Macedonien; ty genom Macedonien skall jag draga.
6 And, with you, I may perhaps sojourn, or winter, that, ye, may set me forward, whithersoever I may be journeying.
Men när eder varder jag tilläfventyrs töfvandes, eller ock öfver vintren blifvandes, att I mig förfordra mågen ehvart jag resandes varder.
7 For I do not wish to see you, just now, by the way; for I hope to remain, some time, with you, —if, the Lord, permit.
Jag vill intet nu se eder uti min framfärd; ty jag hoppas, att jag får någon tid dväljas när eder, om Herren det tillstädjer.
8 But I remain in Ephesus, until the Pentecost,
Men jag vill blifva i Epheso intill Pingsdaga;
9 For, a door, unto me, hath opened, great and effectual, and, opposers, are many.
Ty mig är öppnad en stor och kraftig dörr; och månge motståndare äro.
10 But, if Timothy should come, see that, without fear, he be with you, for, in the work of the Lord, doth he labour, even as, I:
Om Timotheus kommer, så ser till, att han är utan fara när eder; ty han verkar ock Herrans verk, såsom ock jag.
11 Let no one then despise him; and set ye him forward in peace, that he may come unto me, for I expect him with the brethren.
Så förakte nu ingen honom; utan fordrer honom i frid, att han må komma till mig; ty jag väntar honom med bröderna.
12 But, concerning Apollos the brother, much, did I beseech him, that he would come unto you, with the brethren, but there was, by no means, any will, that he should come, now; —he will come, however, as soon as he hath good opportunity.
Men om Apollo brodren veter, att jag ofta hafver förmanat honom, att han skulle komma till eder med bröderna; men hans vilje var ingalunda på denna tid komma: dock varder han likväl kommandes, då honom så belägligit varder.
13 Be on the watch, stand firm in the faith, be men—be strong;
Vaker, står i trone, bruker eder manliga, varer starke.
14 Let, all your affairs, in love, be carried on.
All edor ting låter ske i kärlekenom.
15 Now I beseech you, brethren, —ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is a first-fruit of Achaia, and, for the purpose of ministering, they devoted themselves, unto the saints—
Jag förmanar eder, käre bröder, I kännen Stephane husfolk, att de äro förstlingen i Achaja, och att de hafva skickat sig sjelfva dem heligom till tjenst;
16 That, ye also, be submitting yourselves unto such as these, —and unto everyone helping in the work and toiling.
På det I ock sådana menniskor skolen underdånige vara, och hvarjom och enom, som medverkar och arbetar.
17 I Rejoice, moreover, in the presence of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus: because, your own shortcoming, these, have filled up: —
Jag fröjdar mig af Stephane tillkommelse, och Fortunati, och Achaici; ty hvad mig fattades i eder, det hafva de uppfyllt.
18 They have given rest, in fact, unto my spirit, and yours: hold in acknowledgment, therefore, such as these.
De hafva ock vederqvickt min och edar anda. Så kännens nu vid sådana.
19 The assemblies of Asia salute you: Aquila and Priscilla, with the assembly meeting at their house, salute you much in the Lord:
Eder helsa de församlingar uti Asia; helsa eder mycket i Herranom Aqvila och Priscilla, med den församling som är i deras hus.
20 All the brethren salute you: —Salute ye one another with a holy kiss.
Helsa eder alle bröderne; helser eder inbördes med en helig kyss.
21 The salutation of Paul—with my own hand.
Jag Paulus helsar eder med mine hand.
22 If anyone doth not dearly love the Lord, let him be anathema [that is, "accursed"]: Maran atha [that is, "The Lord, cometh"].
Hvilken Herran Jesum Christum icke hafver kär, han vare Anathema, Maran Atha.
23 The favour of the Lord Jesus, be with you.
Herrans Jesu Christi nåd vare med eder.
24 My love, be with you all, in Christ Jesus.
Min kärlek vare med eder alla i Christo Jesu: Amen.
