8 The sons of Ham, Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
Ilmaan Haam: Kuushi, Misrayim, Fuuxii fi Kanaʼaan turan.
9 And, the sons of Cush, Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabteca. And, the sons of Raamah, Sheba, and Dedan.
Ilmaan Kuushi: Saabaa, Hawiilaa, Sabtaa, Raʼimaa fi Sabtekaa turan. Ilmaan Raʼimaa: Shebaa fi Dedaan turan.
10 And, Cush, begat Nimrod, —he, began to be a mighty one in the earth.

11 And, Mizraim, begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
Misrayim immoo abbaa Luudiimootaa, Anaamiimotaa, Lehaabiimotaa, Naftahiimootaa,
12 and Pathrusim, and Casluhim—whence went forth the Philistines, and Caphtorim.

13 And, Canaan, begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth;

14 and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite;
Yebuusotaa, Amoorotaa, Girgaashotaa,
15 and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite;
Hiiwotaa, Arkaawotaa, Siinotaa,
16 and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

17 The sons of Shem, Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, —and Uz, and Hul, and Gethur, and Meshech.

18 And, Arpachshad, begat Shelah, —and, Shelah, begat Eber.

19 And, unto Eber, were born two sons, —the name of the one, was Peleg, for, in his days, was the earth divided, and, the name of his brother, was Joktan.

20 And, Joktan, begat Almodad, and Sheleph, —and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah;
Yooqxaan immoo Almoodaad, Sheleef, Hazarmaawet, Yaaraa,
21 and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah;
Hadooraam, Uuzaal, Diqlaa,
22 and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba;
Eebaal, Abiimaaʼeel, Shebaa,
23 and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these, were the sons of Joktan.

24 Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah;
Seem, Arfaakshadi, Sheelaa,
25 Eber, Peleg, Reu;

26 Serug, Nahor, Terah;
Seruugi, Naahoor, Taaraa,
27 Abram—the same, is Abraham.

30 Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema;
Mishmaa, Duumaa, Maasaa, Hadaad, Teemaa,
31 Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These, are the sons of Ishmael.

32 And, the sons of Keturah, the concubine of Abraham, she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah, —and, the sons of Jokshan, Sheba, and Dedan;
Ilmaan Qexuuraan saajjatoon Abrahaam sun deesse: Zimraan, Yoqshaan, Medaan, Midiyaan, Yishbaaqii fi Shuwaa. Ilmaan Yokshaan: Shebaa fi Dedaan.
33 and, the sons of Midian, Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these, were the sons of Keturah.
Ilmaan Midiyaan: Eefaa, Eefer, Henook, Abiidaa fi Eldaaʼaa. Warri kunneen hundi sanyiiwwan Qexuuraa ti.
34 So then Abraham begat Isaac, —the sons of Isaac, were Esau and Israel.
Abrahaam abbaa Yisihaaq. Ilmaan Yisihaaq: Esaawuu fi Israaʼel.
35 the sons of Esau, Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.
Ilmaan Esaawu: Eliifaaz, Reʼuuʼeel, Yeʼuushi, Yaʼilaamii fi Qooraahi.
36 The sons of Eliphaz, Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
Ilmaan Eliifaaz: Teemaan, Oomaar, Zefoo, Gaataamii fi Qenaz; karaa Tiimnaatiin: Amaaleq.
37 The sons of Reuel, Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
Ilmaan Reʼuuʼeel: Nahaati, Zeraa, Shamaa fi Miizaah.
38 And, the sons of Seir, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, —and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
Ilmaan Seeʼiir: Looxaan, Sobaal, Zibeʼoon, Aannaa, Diishoon, Eezerii fi Diishaan.
39 And, the sons of Lotan, Hori, and Homam, —and, Lotan’s sister, was Timna.
Ilmaan Looxaan: Hoorii fi Hoomaam, Tiimnaa obboleettii Looxaan.
40 The sons of Shobal, Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi and Onam. And, the sons of Zibeon, Aiah and Anah.
Ilmaan Sobaal: Aliwaan, Maanahaat, Eebaal, Shefoo fi Oonaami. Ilmaan Zibeʼoon: Ayyaa fi Aannaa.
41 The sons of Anah, Dishon, —and, the sons of Dishon, Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
Ilmi Aannaa: Diishoon. Ilmaan Diishoon: Hemdaan, Eshbaan, Yitraanii fi Keraan.
42 The sons of Ezer, Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan, Uz and Aran.
Ilmaan Eezeri: Bilhaan, Zaawaanii fi Aqaan. Ilmaan Diishaan: Uuzii fi Araan.
43 Now, these, are the kings, who reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned a king of the sons of Israel, —Bela the son of Beor, and, the name of his city, was Dinhabah.

44 And Bela died, —and there reigned in his stead, Jobab son of Zerah, of Bozrah.

45 And Jobab died, —and there reigned in his stead, Husham, of the land of the Temanites.
Yoobaab duunaan Hushaam namichi biyya Teemaan iddoo isaa buʼee mootii taʼe.
46 And Husham died, —and there reigned in his stead, Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, and, the name of his city, was Avith.
Hushaam duunaan Hadaad ilmi Bedad inni biyya Moʼaabitti Midiyaanin moʼate sun iddoo isaa buʼee mootii taʼe. Maqaan magaalaa isaa Aawiit jedhame.
47 And Hadad died, —and there reigned in his stead, Samlah of Masrekah.

48 And Samlah died, —and there reigned in his stead, Shaul, of Rehoboth by the River.

49 And Shaul died, —and there reigned in his stead, Baal-hanan, the son of Achbor.

50 And Baal-hanan died, —and there reigned in his stead, Hadad, and, the name of his city, was Pai, —and, the name of his wife, was Mehetabel, daughter of Matred, daughter of Mezahab.
Baʼaal-Haanaan duunaan immoo Hadaad iddoo isaa buʼee mootii taʼe. Magaalaan isaas Faaʼuu jedhame. Maqaan niitii isaa immoo Maheexabiʼeel jedhama ture; isheenis intala Maxreed, intala Mee-Zaahaab turte.
51 And Hadad died. And there were chiefs of Edom: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth;
Hadaadis ni duʼe. Hangafoota saba Edoom: Tiimnaa, Aalwaa, Yeteeti,
52 chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon;
Oholiibaamaa, Eelaa, Phiinoon,
53 chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar;
Qenaz, Teemaan, Mibzaar,
54 chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These, were the chiefs of Edom.
Magidiiʼeelii fi Iiraam. Namoonni kunneen hangafoota Edoom turan.
