೧ಆದಾಮನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು; ಸೇತ್, ಎನೋಷ್,

೨ಕೇನಾನ್, ಮಹಲಲೇಲ್, ಯೆರೆದ್,

3 Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech:

೩ಹನೋಕ್, ಮೆತೂಷೆಲಹ, ಲೆಮೆಕ್,

4 Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

೪ನೋಹ, ಶೇಮ್, ಹಾಮ್, ಯೆಫೆತ್ ಎಂಬವರು.

5 The sons of Japheth, Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech and Tiras.

೫ಯೆಫೆತನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ; ಗೋಮೆರ್, ಮಾಗೋಗ್, ಮಾದಯ್, ಯಾವಾನ್, ತೂಬಲ್, ಮೆಷೆಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ತೀರಾಸ್ ಎಂಬವರು.

6 And, the sons of Gomer, Ashkenaz, and Diphath, and Togarmah.

೬ಗೋಮೆರನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ; ಅಷ್ಕೆನೆಜ್, ರೀಫತ್ ಮತ್ತು ತೋಗರ್ಮ ಎಂಬವರು.

7 And, the sons of Javan, Elishah, and Tarshish, —Kittim, and Rodanim.

೭ಯಾವಾನನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ ಎಲೀಷ, ತಾರ್ಷೀಷ್, ಕಿತ್ತೀಮ್, ದೋದಾನೀಮ್ ಎಂಬ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳವರು.

8 The sons of Ham, Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

೮ಹಾಮಾನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ ಕೂಷ್, ಮಿಚ್ರಯಿಮ್, ಪೂಟ್, ಕಾನಾನ್ ಎಂಬವರು.

9 And, the sons of Cush, Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabteca. And, the sons of Raamah, Sheba, and Dedan.

೯ಕೂಷನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು: ಸೆಬಾ, ಹವೀಲ, ಸಬ್ತ, ರಮ್ಮ ಸಬ್ತೆಕ ಎಂಬುವರು. ರಮ್ಮನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು: ಶೆಬ ಮತ್ತು ದೆದಾನ್ ಎಂಬವರು.

10 And, Cush, begat Nimrod, —he, began to be a mighty one in the earth.

೧೦ಕೂಷನು ನಿಮ್ರೋದನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು. ಇವನು ಈ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿ ರಾಜನೆಂದು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧನಾದನು.

11 And, Mizraim, begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

೧೧ಮಿಚ್ರಯಿಮ್ಯರಿಂದ ಲೂದ್ಯರೂ, ಅನಾಮ್ಯರೂ, ಲೆಹಾಬ್ಯರೂ, ನಫ್ತುಹ್ಯರೂ,

12 and Pathrusim, and Casluhim—whence went forth the Philistines, and Caphtorim.

೧೨ಪತ್ರುಸ್ಯರೂ, ಕಸ್ಲುಹ್ಯರೂ, ಕಫ್ತೋರ್ಯರೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಕಸ್ಲುಹ್ಯರಿಂದ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಬಂದರು.

13 And, Canaan, begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth;

೧೩ಕಾನಾನ್ ವಂಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನು ಸೀದೋನ್, ನಂತರ ಹೇತ್ ಎಂಬವನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.

14 and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite;

೧೪ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಬೂಸಿಯರೂ, ಅಮೋರಿಯರೂ, ಗಿರ್ಗಾಷಿಯರೂ,

15 and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite;

೧೫ಹಿವ್ವಿಯರೂ, ಅರ್ಕಿಯರೂ, ಸೀನಿಯರೂ,

16 and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

೧೬ಅರ್ವಾದಿಯರೂ, ಚೆಮಾರಿಯರೂ ಮತ್ತು ಹಮಾತಿಯರೂ ಕಾನಾನನಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರು.

17 The sons of Shem, Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, —and Uz, and Hul, and Gethur, and Meshech.

೧೭ಶೇಮನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು: ಏಲಾಮ್, ಅಶ್ಶೂರ್, ಅರ್ಪಕ್ಷದ್, ಲೂದ್, ಅರಾಮ್, ಊಚ್, ಹೂಲ್, ಗೆತೆರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮೆಷೆಕ್ ಎಂಬುವರು.

18 And, Arpachshad, begat Shelah, —and, Shelah, begat Eber.

೧೮ಅರ್ಪಕ್ಷದನಿಂದ ಶೆಲಹನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಶೆಳಹನಿಂದ ಏಬೆರನೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.

19 And, unto Eber, were born two sons, —the name of the one, was Peleg, for, in his days, was the earth divided, and, the name of his brother, was Joktan.

೧೯ಏಬೆರನಿಗೆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಪೆಲೆಗ್ (ವಿಂಗಡನೆ) ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರು. ಇವನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಜನರು ವಿಂಗಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು. ಇವನ ತಮ್ಮನ ಹೆಸರು ಯೊಕ್ತಾನ್.

20 And, Joktan, begat Almodad, and Sheleph, —and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah;

೨೦ಯೋಕ್ತಾನನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು: ಅಲ್ಮೋದಾದ್, ಶೆಲೆಫ್, ಹಚರ್ಮಾವೆತ್, ಯೆರಹ,

21 and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah;

೨೧ಹದೋರಾಮ್, ಊಜಾಲ್, ದಿಕ್ಲ,

22 and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba;

೨೨ಎಬಾಲ್, ಅಬೀಮಾಯೇಲ್, ಶೆಬಾ,

23 and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these, were the sons of Joktan.

೨೩ಓಫೀರ್, ಹವೀಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ಯೋಬಾಬ್ ಎಂಬುವರು.

24 Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah;

೨೪ಶೇಮನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು: ಅರ್ಪಕ್ಷದ್, ಶೆಲಹ,

25 Eber, Peleg, Reu;

೨೫ಏಬೆರ್, ಪೆಲೆಗ್, ರೆಯೂ,

26 Serug, Nahor, Terah;

೨೬ಸೆರೂಗ್, ನಾಹೋರ್, ತೆರಹ,

27 Abram—the same, is Abraham.

೨೭ಅಬ್ರಾಮ್ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರು ಹೊಂದಿದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮ ಎಂಬುವರು.

28 The sons of Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael.

೨೮ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ಇಸಾಕ ಮತ್ತು ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲ್.

29 These, are their generations, —the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth, then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam;

೨೯ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲರ ವಂಶಾವಳಿ: ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನು ನೆಬಾಯೋತ್, ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರು ಕೇದಾರ್, ಅದ್ಬೆಯೇಲ್, ಮಿಬ್ಸಾಮ್,

30 Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema;

೩೦ಮಿಷ್ಮ, ದೂಮಾ, ಮಸ್ಸ, ಹದದ್, ತೇಮ,

31 Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These, are the sons of Ishmael.

೩೧ಯೆಟೂರ್, ನಾಫೀಷ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕೇದೆಮ್ ಎಂಬುವರು.

32 And, the sons of Keturah, the concubine of Abraham, she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah, —and, the sons of Jokshan, Sheba, and Dedan;

೩೨ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಉಪಪತ್ನಿಯಾದ ಕೆಟೂರಳ ಸಂತಾನದವರು: ಜಿಮ್ರಾನ್, ಯೊಕ್ಷಾನ್, ಮೆದಾನ್, ಮಿದ್ಯಾನ್, ಇಷ್ಬಾಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶೂಹ ಎಂಬವರು. ಯೊಕ್ಷಾನನು ಶೆಬಾ ಮತ್ತು ದೆದಾನ್ ಎಂಬವರನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು.

33 and, the sons of Midian, Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these, were the sons of Keturah.

೩೩ಏಫ, ಏಫೆರ್, ಹನೋಕ್, ಅಬೀದ, ಎಲ್ದಾಯ ಎಂಬವರು ಮಿದ್ಯಾನನಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರು. ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೆಟೂರಳ ಸಂತತಿಯವರು.

34 So then Abraham begat Isaac, —the sons of Isaac, were Esau and Israel.

೩೪ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಸಾರಳಿಂದ ಇಸಾಕನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು. ಏಸಾವ ಮತ್ತು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಇಸಾಕನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು.

35 the sons of Esau, Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.

೩೫ಏಸಾವನ ವಂಶಸ್ಥರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ ಎಲೀಫಜ್, ರೆಯೂವೇಲ್, ಯೆಯೂಷ್, ಯಳಾಮ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕೋರಹ ಇವರೇ.

36 The sons of Eliphaz, Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.

೩೬ಎಲೀಫಜನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ತೇಮಾನ್, ಓಮಾರ್, ಜೆಫೀ, ಗತಾಮ್, ಕೆನಜ್; ತಿಮ್ನ ಮತ್ತು ಅಮಾಲೇಕ್ ಎಂಬವರು.

37 The sons of Reuel, Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

೩೭ರೆಯೂವೇಲನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ನಹತ್, ಜೆರಹ, ಶಮ್ಮ ಮತ್ತು ಮಿಜ್ಜ.

38 And, the sons of Seir, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, —and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.

೩೮ಸೇಯೀರನಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರು ಲೋಟಾನ್, ಶೋಬಾಲ್, ಚಿಬ್ಬೋನ್, ಅನಾಹ, ದೀಶೋನ್, ಏಚೆರ್ ಮತ್ತು ದೀಶಾನ್ ಸೇಯೀರನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು.

39 And, the sons of Lotan, Hori, and Homam, —and, Lotan’s sister, was Timna.

೩೯ಲೋಟಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹೋರೀ ಮತ್ತು ಹೋಮಾಮ್. ಲೋಟಾನನ ತಂಗಿ ತಿಮ್ನ.

40 The sons of Shobal, Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi and Onam. And, the sons of Zibeon, Aiah and Anah.

೪೦ಶೋಬಾಲನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅಲ್ಯಾನ್, ಮಾನಹತ್, ಏಬಾಲ್, ಶೆಫೀ ಮತ್ತು ಓನಾಮ್. ಚಿಬ್ಬೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅಯ್ಯಾಹ ಮತ್ತು ಅನಾಹ.

41 The sons of Anah, Dishon, —and, the sons of Dishon, Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

೪೧ಅನಾಹನ ಮಗನು ದೀಶೋನ್. ದೀಶೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹಮ್ರಾನ್, ಎಷ್ಬಾನ್, ಇತ್ರಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆರಾನ್.

42 The sons of Ezer, Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan, Uz and Aran.

೪೨ಏಚೆರನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಬಿಲ್ಹಾನ್, ಜಾವಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಯಾಕಾನ್. ದೀಶಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಊಚ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅರಾನ್.

43 Now, these, are the kings, who reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned a king of the sons of Israel, —Bela the son of Beor, and, the name of his city, was Dinhabah.

೪೩ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸರು ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆ ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ಎದೋಮ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸರು ಆಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಯೋರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬೆಳನು ಮೊದಲನೆಯವನು. ಅವನ ರಾಜಧಾನಿ ಹೆಸರು ದಿನ್ಹಾಬಾ.

44 And Bela died, —and there reigned in his stead, Jobab son of Zerah, of Bozrah.

೪೪ಬೆಳನು ಸತ್ತ ನಂತರ ಬೊಚ್ರದವನಾದ ಜೆರಹನ ಮಗ ಯೋಬಾಬನು ಅಧಿಪತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು.

45 And Jobab died, —and there reigned in his stead, Husham, of the land of the Temanites.

೪೫ಯೋಬಾಬನು ಸತ್ತ ಮೇಲೆ ತೇಮಾನೀಯರ ದೇಶದವನಾದ ಹುಷಾಮನು ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

46 And Husham died, —and there reigned in his stead, Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, and, the name of his city, was Avith.

೪೬ಹುಷಾಮನು ಸತ್ತ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರ ಬೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿದ್ಯಾನರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿದ ಬೆದದನ ಮಗನಾದ ಹದದನು ಅರಸನಾದನು. ಅವನ ರಾಜಧಾನಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಅವೀತ್.

47 And Hadad died, —and there reigned in his stead, Samlah of Masrekah.

೪೭ಹದದನು ಸತ್ತ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಸ್ರೇಕದವನಾದ ಸಮ್ಲಾಹನು ಪಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು.

48 And Samlah died, —and there reigned in his stead, Shaul, of Rehoboth by the River.

೪೮ಸಮ್ಲಾಹನು ಸತ್ತ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೂಫ್ರೆಟಿಸ್ ನದಿ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರೆಹೋಬೋತ್ ಊರಿನ ಸೌಲನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.

49 And Shaul died, —and there reigned in his stead, Baal-hanan, the son of Achbor.

೪೯ಸೌಲನು ಸತ್ತ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಕ್ಬೋರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬಾಳ್ಹಾನಾನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.

50 And Baal-hanan died, —and there reigned in his stead, Hadad, and, the name of his city, was Pai, —and, the name of his wife, was Mehetabel, daughter of Matred, daughter of Mezahab.

೫೦ಬಾಳ್ಹಾನಾನ್ ಸತ್ತ ಮೇಲೆ ಹದದನು ಅರಸನಾದನು. ಅವನ ರಾಜಧಾನಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಪಾಗೀ. ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಮೆಹೇಟಬೇಲ್; ಆಕೆ ಮೇಜಾಹಾಬನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಮಟ್ರೇದಳ ಮಗಳು,

51 And Hadad died. And there were chiefs of Edom: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth;

೫೧ಹದದನು ಸತ್ತ ನಂತರ ಎದೋಮ್ಯ ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳಾದವರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ, ತಿಮ್ನ, ಅಲ್ಯ, ಯೆತೇತ್,

52 chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon;

೫೨ಒಹೋಲಿಬಾಮ, ಏಲ, ಪೀನೋನ್,

53 chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar;

೫೩ಕೆನೆಜ್, ತೇಮಾನ್, ಮಿಬ್ಚಾರ್,

54 chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These, were the chiefs of Edom.

೫೪ಮಗ್ದೀಯೇಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಇರಾಮ್ ಇವರೇ.
