1 Chronicles 9

1 And, all Israel, registered themselves, and lo! they are written, in the Book of the Kings of Israel, and, Judah, was carried away captive to Babylon, for their faithlessness.

௧இஸ்ரவேல் எல்லோரும் தங்கள் வம்சவரலாற்றின்படி பதிவுசெய்யப்பட்டார்கள்; இவர்களுடைய பெயர்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறது, யூதா கோத்திரத்தார்கள் தங்களுடைய துரோகத்தினால், பாபிலோனுக்கு சிறைபிடித்துக்கொண்டுபோகப்பட்டார்கள்.

2 Now, the first inhabitants, who were in their possessions, in their cities, were Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinim.

௨தங்களுடைய சொந்த நிலங்களிலும் தங்களுடைய பட்டணங்களிலும் முன்பு குடியிருந்தவர்கள் இஸ்ரவேலர்களும் ஆசாரியர்களும் லேவியர்களும் ஆலயப்பணியாளர்களுமே.

3 And, in Jerusalem, there dwelt, of the sons of Judah, and of the sons of Benjamin, —and of the sons of Ephraim, and Manasseh:

௩யூதா சந்ததிகளிலும், பென்யமீன் சந்ததிகளிலும், எப்பிராயீம் மனாசே என்பவர்களின் சந்ததிகளிலும், எருசலேமில் குடியிருந்தவர்கள் யாரென்றால்,

4 Uthai son of Ammihud, son of Omri, son of Imri, son of Bani, of the sons of Perez, son of Judah.

௪யூதாவின் மகனாகிய பேரேசின் சந்ததியில் பானியின் மகனாகிய இம்ரியின் மகனான உம்ரிக்குப் பிறந்த அம்மியூதின் மகன் ஊத்தாய்.

5 And, of the Shilonites, Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.

௫சேலாவின் சந்ததியில் மூத்தவனாகிய அசாயாவும், அவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளும்,

6 And, of the sons of Zerah, Jeuel, —and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.

௬சேராவின் சந்ததியில் யெகுவேலும், அவனுடைய சகோதரர்களாகிய அறுநூற்றுத்தொண்ணூறுபேர்களுமே.

7 And, of the sons of Benjamin, Sallu, son of Meshullam, son of Hodaviah, son of Hassenuah;

௭பென்யமீன் சந்ததியில் அசெனூவாவின் மகனாகிய ஒதாவியாவுக்குப் பிறந்த மெசுல்லாமின் மகன் சல்லு.

8 and Ibneiah, son of Jeroham, and Elah, son of Uzzi, son of Michri, —and Meshullam, son of Shephatiah, son of Reuel, son of Ibnijah;

௮எரோகாமின் மகன் இப்னெயா; மிக்கிரியின் மகனாகிய ஊசியின் மகன் ஏலா; இப்னியாவின் மகனாகிய ரேகுவேலுக்குப் பிறந்த செபதியாவின் மகன் மெசுல்லாம் என்பவர்களும்;

9 and their brethren, by their generations, nine hundred and fifty-six, —all these men, were ancestral chiefs, to their ancestral house.

௯தங்கள் சந்ததிகளின்படி இருந்த இவர்கள் சகோதரர்களாகிய தொளாயிரத்து ஐம்பத்தாறுபேருமே; இந்த மனிதர்கள் எல்லோரும், தங்களுடைய பிதாக்களின் வம்சத்திலே முன்னோர்களின் தலைவர்களாக இருந்தார்கள்.

10 And, of the priests, Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, and Jachin, —

௧0ஆசாரியர்களில் யெதாயா, யோயாரீப், யாகின்.

11 and Azariah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, chief ruler of the house of God;

௧௧அகிதூபின் மகனாகிய மெராயோதின் மகன் சாதோக்குக்குப் பிறந்த மெசுல்லாவின் மகனாகிய இல்க்கியாவின் மகன் அசரியா என்பவன் தேவாலயத்து விசாரணைக்காரன்.

12 and Adaiah, son of Jeroham, son of Pashhur, son of Malchijah, —and Maasai son of Adiel, son of Jahzerah, son of Meshullam, son of Meshillemith, son of Immer;

௧௨மல்கியாவின் மகனாகிய பஸ்கூருக்குப் பிறந்த எரோகாமின் மகன் அதாயா; இம்மேரின் மகனாகிய மெசில்லேமித்தின் மகன் மெசுல்லாமுக்குப் பிறந்த யாசெராவின் மகனாகிய ஆதியேலின் மகன் மாசாய் என்பவர்களும்,

13 and their brethren, chief men of their ancestral house, a thousand and seven hundred and sixty, —able men, for the business of the service of the house of God.

௧௩அவர்களுடைய சகோதரர்களும், தங்கள் முன்னோர்களின் வம்சத்தலைவர்களான ஆயிரத்து எழுநூற்று அறுபதுபேர் தேவாலயத்தின் பணிவிடைக்குத் திறமையுள்ளவர்களாக இருந்தார்கள்.

14 And, of the Levites, Shemaiah, son of Hasshub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;

௧௪லேவியர்களில் மெராரியின் சந்ததியான அசபியாவின் மகனாகிய அஸ்ரீகாமுக்குப் பிறந்த அசூபின் மகன் செமாயா,

15 and Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, —and Mattaniah, son of Mica, son of Zichri, son of Asaph;

௧௫பக்பக்கார், ஏரேஸ், காலால், ஆசாபின் மகனாகிய சிக்ரிக்குப் பிறந்த மீகாவின் மகன் மத்தனியா,

16 and Obadiah, son of Shemaiah, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun, —and Berechiah son of Asa, son of Elkanah, who dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.

௧௬எதுத்தூனின் மகனாகிய காலாலுக்குப் பிறந்த செமாயாவின் மகன் ஒபதியா; நெத்தோபாத்தியர்களின் கிராமங்களில் குடியிருந்த எல்க்கானாவின் மகனாகிய ஆசாவின் மகன் பெரகியா,

17 And, the keepers of the gates, were Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, —and their brethren—Shallum the chief;

௧௭வாசல் காவலாளிகளாகிய சல்லூம், அக்கூப், தல்மோன், அகீமான் என்பவர்களும், இவர்கள் சகோதரர்களுமே; இவர்கள் தலைவன் சல்லூம்.

18 and, hitherto, they were in the gate of the king, eastward, —the same, were the keepers of the gate, for the camps of the sons of Levi.

௧௮லேவி சந்ததியின் சேனைகளில் இவர்கள் கிழக்கேயிருக்கிற ராஜாவின் வாசலைக் காவல் காத்துவந்தார்கள்.

19 And, Shallum, son of Kore, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah and his brethren of his ancestral house—the Korahites, were over the business of the service, watchers at the vestibule of the tent, —and, their fathers, had been over the camp of Yahweh, watchers at the entrance.

௧௯கோராகின் மகனாகிய எபியாசாபுக்குப் பிறந்த கோரேயின் மகன் சல்லூமும், அவனுடைய தகப்பன் வம்சத்தார்களாகிய அவனுடைய சகோதரர்களுமான கோராகியர்கள் பணிவிடைவேலையை விசாரித்து, அவர்கள் பிதாக்கள் யெகோவாவுடைய இடத்திலே கூடாரத்திற்குப்போகிற வழியைக் காவல்காத்ததுபோல, கூடாரத்துவாசல்களைக் காத்துவந்தார்கள்.

20 And, Phinehas son of Eleazar, was, chief ruler, over them aforetime, Yahweh, being with him.

௨0எலெயாசாரின் மகனாகிய பினேகாசுடனே யெகோவா இருந்ததால், அவன் முற்காலத்திலே அவர்கள்மேல் விசாரணைக்காரனாக இருந்தான்.

21 Zechariah son of Meshelemiah, was door-keeper at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

௨௧மெசெல்மியாவின் மகனாகிய சகரியா ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரவாசல் காவல்காரனாக இருந்தான்.

22 All those who were chosen for door-keepers in the vestibule, were two hundred and twelve, —the same, in their villages, had registered themselves, the same, did David and Samuel the seer establish in their trust.

௨௨வாசல்களைக் காக்கிறதற்குத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட இவர்களெல்லாரும் இருநூற்றுப் பன்னிரெண்டுபேர்களாக இருந்து, தங்கள் கிராமங்களின்படியே தங்களுடைய வம்சத்து அட்டவணைகளில் எழுதப்பட்டார்கள்; தாவீதும், தரிசனம்காண்கிறவனாகிய சாமுவேலும், அவர்களைத் தங்களுடைய வேலைகளில் வைத்தார்கள்.

23 So, they and their sons, were over the gates of the house of Yahweh, of the house of the tent, by watches.

௨௩அப்படியே அவர்களும், அவர்களுடைய மகன்களும் யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயமாகிய கூடாரத்து வாசல்களைக் காக்கிறவர்களை வரிசையாக விசாரித்து வந்தார்கள்.

24 Towards the four winds, were the keepers of the gates, —eastward, westward, northward, and southward.

௨௪ஆலயத்தின் வாசல்களைக் காக்கிறவர்கள் நான்கு திசைகளாகிய கிழக்கிலும் மேற்கிலும் வடக்கிலும் தெற்கிலும் இருந்தார்கள்.

25 And, their brethren in their villages, had to come in, every seven days, from time to time, along with these.

௨௫அவர்களுடைய சகோதரர்கள் தங்களுடைய கிராமங்களிலிருந்து, ஏழுநாட்களுக்கு ஒருமுறை மாறிமாறி அவர்களோடு இருக்க வருவார்கள்.

26 For, in trust, were four mighty men of the keepers of the gates, the same, were Levites, —and they were over the chambers, and over the treasuries of the house of God.

௨௬தேவாலயத்தின் அறைகள்மேலும் கருவூல அறைகள்மேலும் உள்ள விசாரிக்கும் வேலை லேவியர்களான அந்த நான்கு தலைமைக் காவலர்களிடம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டது.

27 And, round about the house of God, used they to lodge, —for, upon them, was the charge, and they were over the setting open, morning by morning.

௨௭காவல் அவர்களுக்கு ஒப்படைத்திருந்ததால் அவர்கள் தேவாலயத்தைச் சுற்றிலும் இரவு தங்கியிருந்து, காலையில் கதவுகளைத் திறந்துவிடுவார்கள்.

28 And, some from among them, were over the utensils of the service, —for, by number, used they to bring them in, and, by number, used they to take them forth.

௨௮அவர்களில் சிலரிடத்தில் ஆராதனை பொருட்கள் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது; அவர்கள் அவைகளை எண்ணி உள்ளே கொண்டுபோய், எண்ணி வெளியே கொண்டுவருவார்கள்.

29 And, some from among them, were appointed over the utensils, yea over all the vessels of the holy place, —and over the fine meal, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.

௨௯அவர்களில் சிலர் மற்றப் பொருட்களின்மேலும், பரிசுத்த பாத்திரங்கள் எல்லாவற்றின்மேலும், மெல்லிய மாவு, திராட்சைரசம், எண்ணெய், சாம்பிராணி, நறுமணப் பொருட்களின்மேலும் விசாரணைக்காரர்களாக இருந்தார்கள்.

30 And, some from among the sons of the priests, were compounders of perfumes, with the spices.

௩0ஆசாரியர்களின் மகன்களில் சிலர் நறுமணப் பொருட்களால் பரிமளதைலம் இறக்குவார்கள்.

31 And, Mattithiah, from among the Levites, —the same, was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite—was in trust over the making of the flat cakes.

௩௧லேவியர்களில் கோராகியனான சல்லூமின் மூத்த மகனாகிய மத்தித்தியாவுக்குப் பலகாரம் சுடுகிற வேலையின் விசாரிப்பு ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது.

32 And, some from among the Kohathites, of their brethren, were over the Bread that was set in Array, —to place it sabbath by sabbath.

௩௨அவர்கள் சகோதரர்களாகிய கோகாத்தியர்களின் மகன்களில் சிலருக்கு ஓய்வுநாள்தோறும் சமுகத்து அப்பங்களை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தும் விசாரிப்பு இருந்தது.

33 These, also were the singers, ancestral chiefs of the Levites, in the chambers, free, —for, by day and by night, was there [a charge] upon them, in the business.

௩௩இவர்களில் லேவியர்களுடைய குடும்பத்தலைவர்களாகிய சங்கீதக்காரர்கள் இரவும் பகலும் தங்களுடைய வேலையை நடத்தவேண்டியதிருந்ததால், மற்ற வேலைக்கு நீங்கலாகித் தங்களுடைய அறைகளில் இருந்தார்கள்.

34 These, were the ancestral chiefs, of the Levites, by their generations, chief men, —these, dwelt in Jerusalem.

௩௪லேவியர்களில் குடும்பத்தலைவர்களாகிய இவர்கள் தங்களுடைய சந்ததிகளுக்குத் தலைமையானவர்கள்; இவர்கள் எருசலேமிலே குடியிருந்தார்கள்.

35 And, in Gibeon, dwelt the father of Gibeon, Jeiel, —the name of whose wife, was Maacah:

௩௫கிபியோனிலே குடியிருந்தவர்கள் யாரென்றால், கிபியோனின் மூப்பனாகிய யெகியேல், இவனுடைய மனைவியின் பெயர் மாக்காள்.

36 and, his firstborn son, Abdon, —and Zur, and Kish, and Baal and Ner, and Nadab;

௩௬அவன் மூத்த மகனாகிய அப்தோனும், சூர், கீஸ், பாகால், நேர், நாதாப்,

37 and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloh.

௩௭கேதோர், அகியோ, சகரியா, மிக்லோத் என்பவர்களுமே.

38 And, Mikloth, begat Shimeam—and, they also, over against their brethren, did dwell in Jerusalem, along with their brethren.

௩௮மிக்லோத் சீமியாமைப் பெற்றான்; இவர்களும் தங்களுடைய சகோதரர்களோடு எருசலேமிலிருக்கிற தங்களுடைய சகோதரர்களுக்கு சமீபத்தில் குடியிருந்தார்கள்.

39 And, Ner, begat Kith, and, Kish, begat Saul, —and, Saul, begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal;

௩௯நேர் கீசைப் பெற்றான்; கீஸ் சவுலைப் பெற்றான்; சவுல் யோனத்தானையும், மல்கிசூவாவையும், அபினதாபையும், எஸ்பாலையும் பெற்றான்.

40 and, the son of Jonathan, was Merib-baal, —and, Merib-baal, begat Micah;

௪0யோனத்தானின் மகன் மெரிபால்; மெரிபால் மீகாவைப் பெற்றான்.

41 and, the sons of Micah, were Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea [and Ahaz];

௪௧மீகாவின் மகன்கள் பித்தோன், மேலேக், தரேயா, ஆகாஸ் என்பவர்கள்.

42 and, Ahaz, begat Jarah, and, Jarah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri, —and Zimri, begat Moza;

௪௨ஆகாஸ் யாராகைப் பெற்றான்; யாராக் அலமேத்தையும், அஸ்மவேத்தையும், சிம்ரியையும் பெற்றான்; சிம்ரி மோசாவைப் பெற்றான்.

43 and, Moza, begat Binea, —and Raphaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son;

௪௩மோசா பினியாவைப் பெற்றான்; இவனுடைய மகன் ரப்பாயா; இவனுடைய மகன் எலியாசா; இவனுடைய மகன் ஆத்சேல்.

44 and, Azel, had six sons, and these are their names—Azrikam, [his firstborn], and Ishmael, and Sheariah and Obadiah, and Hanan, [and Asah]. These, were the sons of Azel.

௪௪ஆத்சேலுக்கு ஆறு மகன்கள் இருந்தார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய பெயர்களாவன, அசரீக்காம், பொக்குரு, இஸ்மவேல், சேராயா, ஒபதியா, ஆனான், இவர்கள் ஆத்சேலின் மகன்கள்.
