1 Chronicles 9
1 And, all Israel, registered themselves, and lo! they are written, in the Book of the Kings of Israel, and, Judah, was carried away captive to Babylon, for their faithlessness.
E todo o Israel foi contado por genealogia: eis que estão escriptos no livro dos reis de Israel: e os de Judah foram transportados a Babylonia, por causa da sua transgressão.
2 Now, the first inhabitants, who were in their possessions, in their cities, were Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinim.
E os primeiros habitadores, que moravam na sua possessão e nas suas cidades, foram os israelitas, os sacerdotes, os levitas, e os nethineos.
3 And, in Jerusalem, there dwelt, of the sons of Judah, and of the sons of Benjamin, —and of the sons of Ephraim, and Manasseh:
Porém dos filhos de Judah, e dos filhos de Benjamin, e dos filhos de Ephraim e Manasseh, habitaram em Jerusalem:
4 Uthai son of Ammihud, son of Omri, son of Imri, son of Bani, of the sons of Perez, son of Judah.
Uthai, filho de Ammihud, filho de Omri, filho de Imri, filho de Bani, dos filhos de Peres, filho de Judah;
5 And, of the Shilonites, Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.
E dos silonitas: Assias o primogenito, e seus filhos;
6 And, of the sons of Zerah, Jeuel, —and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.
E dos filhos de Zerah: Jeuel, e seus irmãos, seiscentos e noventa;
7 And, of the sons of Benjamin, Sallu, son of Meshullam, son of Hodaviah, son of Hassenuah;
E dos filhos de Benjamin: Sallu, filho de Mesullam, filho de Hodavias, filho de Hassenua,
8 and Ibneiah, son of Jeroham, and Elah, son of Uzzi, son of Michri, —and Meshullam, son of Shephatiah, son of Reuel, son of Ibnijah;
E Ibneias, filho de Jeroham, e Ela, filho de Uzzi, filho de Michri, e Mesullam, filho de Sephatias, filho de Reuel, filho d'Ibnijas;
9 and their brethren, by their generations, nine hundred and fifty-six, —all these men, were ancestral chiefs, to their ancestral house.
E seus irmãos, segundo as suas gerações, novecentos e cincoenta e seis: todos estes homens foram cabeças dos paes nas casas de seus paes.
10 And, of the priests, Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, and Jachin, —

11 and Azariah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, chief ruler of the house of God;
E Azarias, filho de Hilkias, filho de Mesullam, filho de Zadok, filho de Meraioth, filho de Ahitub, maioral da casa de Deus:
12 and Adaiah, son of Jeroham, son of Pashhur, son of Malchijah, —and Maasai son of Adiel, son of Jahzerah, son of Meshullam, son of Meshillemith, son of Immer;
Adaias, filho de Jeroham, filho de Pashur, filho de Malchias, e Masai, filho de Adiel, filho de Jahzera, filho de Mesullam, filho de Mesillemith, filho de Immer;
13 and their brethren, chief men of their ancestral house, a thousand and seven hundred and sixty, —able men, for the business of the service of the house of God.
Como tambem seus irmãos, cabeças nas casas de seus paes, mil, setecentos e sessenta, varões valentes para a obra do ministerio da casa de Deus.
14 And, of the Levites, Shemaiah, son of Hasshub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
E dos levitas: Semaias, filho de Hassub, filho de Azrikam, filho de Hasabias, dos filhos de Merari;
15 and Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, —and Mattaniah, son of Mica, son of Zichri, son of Asaph;
E Bakbakkar, Heres, e Galal; e Matthanias, filho de Micha, filho de Zichri, filho de Asaph;
16 and Obadiah, son of Shemaiah, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun, —and Berechiah son of Asa, son of Elkanah, who dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
E Obadias, filho de Semaias, filho de Galal, filho de Jeduthun; e Berechias, filho de Asa, filho de Elkana, morador das aldeias dos netophathitas.
17 And, the keepers of the gates, were Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, —and their brethren—Shallum the chief;
E foram porteiros: Sallum, e Akkub, e Talmon, e Ahiman, e seus irmãos, cuja cabeça era Sallum.
18 and, hitherto, they were in the gate of the king, eastward, —the same, were the keepers of the gate, for the camps of the sons of Levi.
E até áquelle tempo estavam de guarda á porta do rei para o oriente; estes foram os porteiros entre os arraiaes dos filhos de Levi.
19 And, Shallum, son of Kore, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah and his brethren of his ancestral house—the Korahites, were over the business of the service, watchers at the vestibule of the tent, —and, their fathers, had been over the camp of Yahweh, watchers at the entrance.
E Sallum, filho de Kore, filho de Ebiasaph, filho de Korah, e seus irmãos da casa de seu pae, os korahitas, tinham cargo da obra do ministerio, e eram guardas dos umbraes do tabernaculo: e seus paes foram capitães do arraial do Senhor, e guardadores da entrada.
20 And, Phinehas son of Eleazar, was, chief ruler, over them aforetime, Yahweh, being with him.
Phineas, filho de Eleazar, d'antes entre elles guia, com o qual era o Senhor,
21 Zechariah son of Meshelemiah, was door-keeper at the entrance of the tent of meeting.
E Zacharias, filho de Meselemias porteiro da porta da tenda da congregação.
22 All those who were chosen for door-keepers in the vestibule, were two hundred and twelve, —the same, in their villages, had registered themselves, the same, did David and Samuel the seer establish in their trust.
Todos estes, escolhidos para serem porteiros dos umbraes, foram duzentos e doze: e foram estes, segundo as suas aldeias, postos em suas genealogias; e David e Samuel, o vidente, os constituiram no seu cargo.
23 So, they and their sons, were over the gates of the house of Yahweh, of the house of the tent, by watches.
Estavam pois elles, e seus filhos, ás portas da casa do Senhor, na casa da tenda, junto aos guardas.
24 Towards the four winds, were the keepers of the gates, —eastward, westward, northward, and southward.
Os porteiros estavam aos quatro ventos: ao oriente, ao occidente, ao norte, e ao sul.
25 And, their brethren in their villages, had to come in, every seven days, from time to time, along with these.
E seus irmãos estavam nas suas aldeias, e no setimo dia, de tempo em tempo, entravam a servir com elles.
26 For, in trust, were four mighty men of the keepers of the gates, the same, were Levites, —and they were over the chambers, and over the treasuries of the house of God.
Porque havia n'aquelle officio quatro porteiros-móres que eram levitas, e tinham cargo das camaras e dos thesouros da casa de Deus.
27 And, round about the house of God, used they to lodge, —for, upon them, was the charge, and they were over the setting open, morning by morning.
E de noite ficavam á roda da casa de Deus, porque a guarda lhes estava encarregada, e tinham cargo de abrir, e isto cada manhã.
28 And, some from among them, were over the utensils of the service, —for, by number, used they to bring them in, and, by number, used they to take them forth.
E alguns d'elles tinham cargo dos vasos do ministerio, porque por conta os traziam e por conta os tiravam.
29 And, some from among them, were appointed over the utensils, yea over all the vessels of the holy place, —and over the fine meal, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
Porque d'elles alguns havia que tinham cargo dos vasos e de todos os vasos sagrados; como tambem da flor de farinha, e do vinho, e do azeite, e do incenso, e da especiaria.
30 And, some from among the sons of the priests, were compounders of perfumes, with the spices.
E dos filhos dos sacerdotes eram os obreiros da confecção das especiarias.
31 And, Mattithiah, from among the Levites, —the same, was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite—was in trust over the making of the flat cakes.
E Mattithias, d'entre os levitas, o primogenito de Sallum, o korahita, tinha cargo da obra que se fazia em sartãs.
32 And, some from among the Kohathites, of their brethren, were over the Bread that was set in Array, —to place it sabbath by sabbath.
E dos filhos dos kohatitas, de seus irmãos houve alguns que tinham cargo dos pães da proposição, para os prepararem em todos os sabbados.
33 These, also were the singers, ancestral chiefs of the Levites, in the chambers, free, —for, by day and by night, was there [a charge] upon them, in the business.
D'estes foram tambem os cantores, cabeças dos paes entre os levitas nas camaras, exemptos de serviços; porque de dia e de noite estava a seu cargo occuparem-se n'aquella obra.
34 These, were the ancestral chiefs, of the Levites, by their generations, chief men, —these, dwelt in Jerusalem.
Estes foram cabeças dos paes entre os levitas, chefes em suas gerações: estes habitaram em Jerusalem.
35 And, in Gibeon, dwelt the father of Gibeon, Jeiel, —the name of whose wife, was Maacah:
Porém em Gibeon habitaram Jeiel, pae de Gibeon (e era o nome de sua mulher Maaca),
36 and, his firstborn son, Abdon, —and Zur, and Kish, and Baal and Ner, and Nadab;
E seu filho primogenito Abdon: depois Zur, e Kis, e Baal, e Ner, e Nadab,
37 and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloh.
E Gedor, e Ahio, e Zacharias, e Mikloth.
38 And, Mikloth, begat Shimeam—and, they also, over against their brethren, did dwell in Jerusalem, along with their brethren.
E Mikloth gerou a Simeão: e tambem estes, defronte de seus irmãos, habitaram em Jerusalem com seus irmãos.
39 And, Ner, begat Kith, and, Kish, begat Saul, —and, Saul, begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal;
E Ner gerou a Kis, e Kis gerou a Saul, e Saul gerou a Jonathan, e a Malchi-sua, e a Abinadab, e a Es-baal.
40 and, the son of Jonathan, was Merib-baal, —and, Merib-baal, begat Micah;
E filho de Jonathan foi Merib-baal: e Merib-baal gerou a Micha.
41 and, the sons of Micah, were Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea [and Ahaz];
E os filhos de Micha foram Pithon, e Melech, e Tarea.
42 and, Ahaz, begat Jarah, and, Jarah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri, —and Zimri, begat Moza;
E Achaz gerou a Jaera, e Jaera gerou a Alemeth, e a Azmaveth, e a Zimri: e Zimri gerou a Mosa.
43 and, Moza, begat Binea, —and Raphaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son;
E Mosa gerou a Binea, cujo filho foi Rephaias, cujo filho foi Elasa, cujo filho foi Asel.
44 and, Azel, had six sons, and these are their names—Azrikam, [his firstborn], and Ishmael, and Sheariah and Obadiah, and Hanan, [and Asah]. These, were the sons of Azel.
E teve Asel seis filhos, e estes foram os seus nomes: Azrikam, e Boceru, e Ishmael, e Seraias, e Obadias, e Hanan: estes foram os filhos d'Asel.
