1 Chronicles 7

1 And, to the sons of Issachar, belonged, Tola and Push, Jashib and Shimron, four.

2 And, the sons of Tola, were Uzzi and Rephaiah and Jeriel and Jahmai and Ibsam and Shemuel, chiefs of their ancestral house, pertaining to Tola, heroes of valour, in their generations, —their number, in the days of David, twenty-two thousand and six hundred.

Die Söhne Tholas waren: Ussi, Rephaja, Jeriel, Jahmai, Jibsam und Samuel, Häupter ihrer Familien, von Thola, kriegstüchtige Männer, nach ihren Geschlechtern; ihre Zahl betrug zur Zeit Davids 22600.

3 And, the sons of Uzzi, Izrahiah, —and, the sons of Izrahiah, Michael and Obadiah and Joel, Isshiah—five, chiefs, all of them;

Die Söhne Ussis waren: Jisrahja; und die Söhne Jisrahjas: Michael, Obadja, Joel und Jissia, insgesamt fünf Familienhäupter.

4 and, with them by their generations, pertaining to their ancestral house, were bands of a host for war, thirty-six thousand, —for they had many wives and sons;

Zu ihnen gehörten nach ihren Geschlechtern, nach ihren Familien, Kriegerscharen: 36000 Mann; denn sie hatten viele Frauen und Kinder.

5 and, their brethren, of all the families of Issachar, heroes of great valour, were eighty-seven thousand, when they had, all, registered themselves.

Dazu ihre Stammesgenossen, sämtliche Geschlechter Issaschars, waren kriegstüchtige Männer; 87000 ergab ihr Verzeichnis im ganzen.

6 Benjamin, Bela and Becher and Jediael, three.

Die Söhne Benjamins waren: Bela, Becher und Jediael, zusammen drei.

7 And, the sons of Bela, Ezbon and Uzzi and Uzziel and Jerimoth and Iri, five, chiefs of the ancestral house, heroes of great valour, —who, when they had registered themselves, were twenty-two thousand and thirty-four,

Die Söhne Belas waren: Ezbon, Ussi, Ussiel, Jerimoth und Iri, zusammen fünf, Familienhäupter, kriegstüchtige Männer; ihr Verzeichnis ergab 22034.

8 And, the sons of Becher, Zemirah and Joash and Eliezer and Elioenai and Omri, and Jeremoth and Abijah, and Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these, were sons of Becher.

Die Söhne Bechers waren: Semira, Joas, Elieser, Eljoenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abia, Anathoth und Alemeth; alle diese waren Söhne Bechers,

9 And, when they had registered themselves by their generations, the chiefs of their ancestral house, the heroes of valour, were twenty thousand and two hundred.

und ihr Verzeichnis nach ihren Geschlechtern, nach ihren Familienhäuptern ergab 20200 kriegstüchtige Männer.

10 And, the sons of Jediael, Bilhan, —and, the sons of Bilhan, Jeish and Benjamin and Ehud and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tarshish, and Ahishahah.

Die Söhne Jediaels waren: Bilhan; und die Söhne Bilhans: Jehus, Benjamin, Ehud, Kenaana, Sethan, Tharsis und Ahisahar;

11 All these—sons of Jediael, by ancestral chiefs, heroes of great valour, were seventeen thousand and two hundred, ready to go forth as a host to war: —

alle diese waren Söhne Jediaels, Familienhäupter, kriegstüchtige Männer, 17200, die kampfbereit ins Feld zogen. –

12 Shuppim also and Huppim, sons of Ir, Hushim sons of Aher.

Und Suppim und Huppim waren Söhne Irs; Husim die Söhne Ahers.

13 the sons of Naphtali, Jahziel and Guni, and Jezer and Shallum, sons of Bilhah.

Die Söhne Naphthalis waren: Jahziel, Guni, Jezer und Sallum, Nachkommen der Bilha.

14 The sons of Manasseh, Asriel, whom, [his wife] bare, —his concubine, the Syrian, bare Machir the father of Gilead;

Die Söhne Manasses waren: Asriel, den sein syrisches Nebenweib gebar; sie gebar auch Machir, den Vater Gileads.

15 and, Machir, took a wife pertaining to Huppim and Shuppim, and, the name of his sister, was Maacah, and, the name of the second, Zelophehad, —and, Zelophehad, had, daughters.

Machir nahm dann [für Huppim und Suppim] eine Frau namens Maacha, und seine Schwester hieß Hammolecheth; sein Bruder hieß Zelophhad, und dieser hatte nur Töchter.

16 So then Maacah, wife of Machir, bare a son, and called his name Peresh, and, the name of his brother, was Sheresh, —and, his sons, were Ulam and Rakem;

Und Maacha, die Frau Machirs, gebar einen Sohn, den sie Peres nannte; sein Bruder aber hieß Seres, und dessen Söhne waren Ulam und Rekem.

17 and, the sons of Ulam, Bedan. These, were the sons of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Manasseh.

Die Söhne Ulams waren: Bedan. Dies sind die Söhne Gileads, des Sohnes Machirs, des Sohnes Manasses. –

18 And, his sister, Hammolecheth, bare Ishhod, and Abiezer, and Mahlah.

Seine Schwester Hammolecheth aber gebar Ishod, Abieser und Mahla. –

19 And, the sons of Shemida, were Ahian and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.

Und die Söhne Semidas waren: Ahjan, Sichem, Likhi und Aniam.

20 And, the sons of Ephraim, Shuthelah, —and Bered his son, and Tahath his son, and Eleadah his son, and Tahath his son;

Die Söhne Ephraims waren: Suthelah; dessen Sohn war Bered, dessen Sohn Thahath, dessen Sohn Elada, dessen Sohn Thahath,

21 and Zabad his son and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer and Elead, —but the men of Gath who had been born in the land slew them, because they had come down to take away their cattle.

22 And Ephraim their father mourned many days, —and his brethren came to comfort him.

23 And he went in unto his wife, and she conceived, and bare a son, —and he called his name, Beriah, because, in misfortune, was she in his house.

Da wohnte er seiner Frau bei, und sie wurde guter Hoffnung und gebar einen Sohn, den er Beria nannte, weil sein Haus sich im Unglück befunden hatte.

24 And, his daughter, was Sheerah, who built Beth-horon the nether and the upper, —and Uzzen-sheerah.

Seine Tochter aber war Seera; die erbaute das untere und das obere Beth-Horon und Ussen-Seera.

25 And Rephah his son, and Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan his son, —

Dessen Sohn war Rephah, dessen Sohn Reseph, dessen Sohn Thelah, dessen Sohn Thahan,

26 Ladan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son, —

dessen Sohn Laedan, dessen Sohn Ammihud, dessen Sohn Elisama,

27 Non his son, Joshua his son.

dessen Sohn Nun, dessen Sohn Josua.

28 And, their possessions, and their dwellings, were Bethel, and the villages thereof; and, eastward, Naaran, and, westward, Gezer, and the villages thereof, and Shechem, and the villages thereof, —as far as Aiyah, and the villages thereof; —

Ihr Erbbesitz aber und ihre Wohnsitze waren: Bethel samt den zugehörigen Ortschaften, und nach Osten hin Naaran und gegen Westen Geser samt den zugehörigen Ortschaften; sodann Sichem samt den zugehörigen Ortschaften bis nach Ajja samt den zugehörigen Ortschaften.

29 and, on the sides of the sons of Manasseh, Beth-shean and the villages thereof, Taanach and the villages thereof, Megiddo and the villages thereof, Dor and the villages thereof. In these, dwelt the sons of Joseph, son of Israel.

Und im Besitz der Manassiten waren: Beth-Sean samt den zugehörigen Ortschaften, Thaanach samt den zugehörigen Ortschaften, Megiddo samt den zugehörigen Ortschaften, Dor samt den zugehörigen Ortschaften. In diesen wohnten die Nachkommen Josephs, des Sohnes Israels.

30 The sons of Asher, Imnah, and Ishvah, and Ishvi and Beriah, —and Serah their sister.

Die Söhne Assers waren: Jimna, Jiswa, Jiswi und Beria; ihre Schwester war Serah.

31 And, the sons of Beriah, Heber, and Malchiel, —the same, was the father of Birzaith.

Die Söhne Berias waren: Heber und Malkiel, das ist der Stammvater von Birsajith.

32 And, Heber, begat Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, —and, Shua, their sister.

Heber zeugte Japhlet, Semer, Hotham und ihre Schwester Sua.

33 And, the sons of Japhlet, Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath. These, were the sons of Japhlet.

34 And, the sons of Shemer, Ahi, and Rohgah, Jahbah, and Aram.

und die Söhne (seines Bruders) Semers: Ahi, Rohga, Hubba und Aram. –

35 And, the sons of Helem, his brother, Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh and Amal.

Die Söhne seines Bruders Hotham waren: Zophah, Jimna, Seles und Amal.

36 The sons of Zophah, Suah and Harnepher, and Shual and Beri, and Imrah, —

Die Söhne Zophahs waren: Suah, Harnepher, Sual, Beri, Jimra,

37 Bezer and Hod, and Shamma and Shilshah, and Ithran and Beera.

Bezer, Hod, Samma, Silsa, Jithran und Beera;

38 And, the sons of Jether, Jephunneh, and Pispa, and Ara.

und die Söhne Jethers: Jephunne, Pispa und Ara. –

39 And, the sons of Ulla, Arah, and Hanniel, and Rizia.

Die Söhne Ullas waren: Arah, Hanniel und Rizja.

40 All these, were sons of Asher, chiefs of the ancestral house, choice men, heroes of great valour, chiefs of the leaders, —and, when they registered themselves, in host, for war, the number of the men, was twenty-six thousand.

Diese alle waren Nachkommen Assers, Familienhäupter, auserlesene, kriegstüchtige Männer, Häupter unter den Fürsten; und die Zahl der aus ihnen für den Kriegsdienst Aufgezeichneten betrug 26000 Mann.
