1 Chronicles 4
1 the sons of Judah, Perez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal.
௧யூதாவின் சந்ததிகள் பாரேஸ், எஸ்ரோன், கர்மீ, ஊர், சோபால் என்பவர்கள்.
2 And, Reaiah son of Shobal, begat Jahath, and, Jahath, begat Ahumai, and Lahad. These, are the families of the Zorathites.
௨சோபாலின் மகன் ராயா யாகாத்தைப் பெற்றான்; யாகாத் அகுமாயியையும், லாகாதையும் பெற்றான்; சோராத்தியர்களின் வம்சங்கள் இவைகளே.
3 And, these, were the sons of Etam, Jezreel and Ishma, and Idbash, —and, the name of their sister, was Hazzelelponi;
௩ஏதாம் என்னும் மூப்பனின் சந்ததியார்கள், யெஸ்ரெயேல், இஷ்மா, இத்பாஸ் என்பவர்கள்; இவர்களுடைய சகோதரியின் பெயர் அத்செலெல்போனி;
4 and Penuel the father of Gedor, and Ezer, the father of Hushah. These, are the sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrathah, the father of Bethlehem.
௪கேதோருக்கு மூப்பனான பெனுவெல், உஷாவுக்கு மூப்பனான எசேர் என்பவர்கள்; இவர்கள் பெத்லெகேமுக்கு மூப்பனான எப்ராத்தாவுக்கு முதலில் பிறந்த ஊரின் மகன்கள்.
5 And, Ashhur the father of Tekoa, had two wives, —Helah, and Naarah.
௫தெக்கோவாவுக்கு மூப்பனான அசூருக்கு ஏலாள், நாராள் என்னும் இரண்டு மனைவிகள் இருந்தார்கள்.
6 And Naarah bare him Ahuzzam and Hepher, and Temeni, and Haahashtari. These, were the sons of Naarah.
௬நாராள் அவனுக்கு அகுசாமையும், எப்பேரையும், தெமனியையும், ஆகாஸ்தாரியையும் பெற்றாள்; நாராளின் மகன்கள் இவர்களே.
7 And, the sons of Helah, were Zereth, Izhar, and Ethnan.
௭ஏலாளின் மகன்கள், சேரேத், எத்சோகார், எத்னான் என்பவர்கள்.
8 And, Koz, begat Anub, and Zobebah, —and the families of Aharhel, the son of Harum.
௮கோஸ் என்பவன் அனூபையும், சோபேபாகையும், ஆருமின் மகனாகிய அகர்கேலின் வம்சங்களையும் பெற்றான்.
9 Now it came to pass that Jabez was more honourable than his brethren, —but, his mother, had called his name Jabez, ["he causes pain"] saying, Because I bare him with pain.
௯யாபேஸ் தன்னுடைய சகோதரர்களைவிட மதிப்பிற்குரியவனாக இருந்தான். அவனுடைய தாய்: நான் துக்கத்தோடே அவனைப் பெற்றேன் என்று சொல்லி அவனுக்கு யாபேஸ் என்று பெயரிட்டாள்.
10 So then Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldst, indeed bless, me, and enlarge my boundary, and that thy hand might be with me, —and that thou wouldst work [to deliver me] from evil, that it be not my pain. And God brought about that which he asked.
௧0யாபேஸ் இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனை நோக்கி: தேவரீர் என்னை ஆசீர்வதித்து, என்னுடைய எல்லையைப் பெரிதாக்கி, உமது கரம் என்னோடு இருந்து, தீங்கு என்னை துக்கப்படுத்தாதபடி அதற்கு என்னை விலக்கிக் காத்தருளும் என்று வேண்டிக்கொண்டான்; அவன் வேண்டிக்கொண்டதை தேவன் அருளினார்.
11 And, Chelub the brother of Shuhah, begat Mehir, the same, was the father of Eshton.
௧௧சூகாவின் சகோதரனாகிய கேலூப் மேகீரைப் பெற்றான்; இவன் எஸ்தோனின் தகப்பன்.
12 And, Eshton, begat Beth-rapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah, the father of Ir-nahash. These, are the men of Recah.
௧௨எஸ்தோன் பெத்ராபாவையும், பசேயாகையும், இர்நாகாஷின் தகப்பனாகிய தெகினாகையும் பெற்றான்; இவர்கள் ரேகாவூர் மனிதர்கள்.
13 And, the sons of Kenaz, were Othniel, and Seraiah, —and, the sons of Othniel, Hathath.
௧௩கேனாசின் மகன்கள் ஒத்னியேல், செராயா என்பவர்கள்; ஒத்னியேலின் மகன்களில் ஒருவன் ஆத்தாத்.
14 And, Meonothai, begat Ophrah, —and, Seraiah, begat Joab, the father of Ge-harashim, for they were, craftsmen.
௧௪மெயோனத்தாய் ஒபிராவைப் பெற்றான்; செராயா கராஷீமன் பள்ளத்தாக்குக்கு மூப்பனாகிய யோவாபைப் பெற்றான்; அவர்கள் தொழிலாளர்களாக இருந்தார்கள்.
15 And, the sons of Caleb son of Jephunneh, were Iru, Elah, and Naam, —and the sons of Elah and Kenaz.
௧௫எப்புன்னேயின் மகனாகிய காலேபின் மகன்கள் ஈரு, ஏலா, நாகாம்; ஏலாவின் மகன்களில் ஒருவன் கேனாஸ்.
16 And, the sons of Jehallelel, Ziph and Ziphah, Tiria, and Asarel.
௧௬எகலெலேலின் மகன்கள் சீப், சீப்பா, திரியா, அசாரெயேல்.
17 And, the sons of Ezrah, Jether and Mered, and Epher and Jalon. And, these, are the sons of Bithia, daughter of Pharaoh, whom Mered took, —and she conceived and bare Miriam and Shammai, and Ishbah, the father of Eshtemoa.
௧௭எஸ்றாவின் மகன்கள் யெத்தேர், மேரேத், ஏப்பேர், யாலோன்; மேரேத்தின் மனைவி மிரியாமையும், சம்மாயியையும், எஸ்தெமோவா ஊருக்கு மூப்பனான இஸ்பாவையும் பெற்றாள்.
18 And, his wife, the Jewess, bare Jered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Soco, and Jekuthiel, the father of Zanoah.
௧௮அவன் மனைவியாகிய எகுதியாள் கேதோரின் தகப்பனாகிய யாரேதையும், சோக்கோவின் தகப்பனாகிய ஏபேரையும், சனோவாவின் தகப்பனாகிய எக்குத்தியேலையும் பெற்றாள்; மேரேத் திருமணம் செய்த பார்வோனின் மகளாகிய பித்தியாளின் மகன்கள் இவர்களே.
19 And, the sons of the wife of Hodiah, the sister of Naham, were the father of Keilah, the Garmite, —and Eshtemoa, the Maacathite.
௧௯நாகாமின் சகோதரியாகிய ஒதியாவினுடைய மனைவியின் மகன்கள் கர்மியனாகிய ஆபிகேயிலாவும், மாகாத்தியனாகிய எஸ்தெமொவாவுமே.
20 And, the sons of Shimon, Amnon, and Rinnah, Ben-hanan and Tilon. And, the sons of Ishi, Zoheth, and Ben-zoheth.
௨0ஷீமோனின் மகன்கள் அம்னோன், ரின்னா, பென்கானான், தீலோன் என்பவர்கள், இஷியின் மகன்கள் சோகேதும் பென்சோகேதுமே.
21 the sons of Shelah, the son of Judah, Er, the father of Lecah, and Laadah, the father of Mareshah, —and the families of the house of them that wrought fine linen, of the house of Ashbea;
௨௧யூதாவின் மகனாகிய சேலாகின் மகன்கள்: லேக்காவூர் மூப்பனான ஏரும், மரேஷாவூர் மூப்பனான லாதாகும், மெல்லிய புடவை நெய்த அஸ்பெயா வீட்டு வம்சங்களும்,
22 and Jokim, and the men of Cozeba, and Joash, and Saraph who ruled for Moab, and Jashubi-lehem, —but, the records, are ancient.
௨௨யோக்கீமும், கோசேபாவின் மனிதர்களும், மோவாபியர்களை ஆண்ட யோவாஸ், சாராப் என்பவர்களும், யசுபிலெகேமுமே; இவைகள் ஆரம்பகாலத்தின் செய்திகள்.
23 They, were the potters and the inhabitants of Netaim, and Gederah, —with the king in his work, dwelt they there.
௨௩இவர்கள் குயவர்களாக இருந்து நெத்தாயிமிலும் கெதேராவிலும் குடியிருந்தார்கள்; ராஜாவின் வேலையை விசாரிப்பதற்கு அங்கே குடியிருந்தார்கள்.
24 The sons of Simeon, Nemuel, and Jamin, Jarib, Zerah, Shaul:
௨௪சிமியோனின் மகன்கள் நெமுவேல், யாமின், யாரீப், சேரா, சவுல் என்பவர்கள்.
25 Shallum his son, Mibsam his son, Mishma his son.
௨௫இவனுடைய மகன் சல்லூம்; இவனுடைய மகன் மிப்சாம்; இவனுடைய மகன் மிஸ்மா.
26 And, the sons of Mishma, Hammuel his son, Zaccur his son, Shimei his son.
௨௬மிஸ்மாவின் மகன்களில் ஒருவன் அம்முவேல்; இவனுடைய மகன் சக்கூர்; இவனுடைய மகன் சீமேயி.
27 And, Shimei, had sixteen sons, and six daughters, but, his brethren, had not many children, —nor did, any of their family, multiply so much as the sons of Judah.
௨௭சீமேயிக்குப் பதினாறு மகன்களும் ஆறு மகள்களும் இருந்தார்கள்; அவனுடைய சகோதரர்களுக்கு அதிக பிள்ளைகள் இல்லை; அவர்கள் வம்சங்களெல்லாம் யூதாவின் மக்களைப்போலப் பெருகினதுமில்லை.
28 And they dwelt in Beer-sheba, and Moladah, and Hazar-shual;
௨௮அவர்கள் பெயெர்செபாவிலும், மொலாதாவிலும், ஆசார்சூவாவிலும்,
29 and in Bilhah, and in Ezem, and in Tolad;
௨௯பில்லாவிலும், ஏத்சேமிலும், தோலாதிலும்,
30 and in Bethuel, and in Hormah, and in Ziklag;
௩0பெத்துவேலிலும், ஓர்மாவிலும், சிக்லாகிலும்,
31 and in Beth-marcaboth, and in Hazar-susim, and in Beth-biri, and in Shaaraim. These, were their cities unto the reign of David.
௩௧பெத்மார்காபோத்திலும், ஆத்சார்சூசிமிலும், பெத்பிரியிலும், சாராயிமிலும் குடியிருந்தார்கள்; தாவீது ராஜாவாகும்வரை இவைகள் அவர்களுடைய பட்டணங்களாக இருந்தது.
32 And, their villages, were Etam, and Ain, Rimmon, and Tochen, and Ashan, —five cities;
௩௨அவர்களுடைய ஐந்து பட்டணங்கள் ஏத்தாம், ஆயின், ரிம்மோன், தோகேன், ஆசான் என்பவைகள்.
33 and all their villages that were round about these cities, as far as Baal. These, were their habitations, and they had their own genealogical register.
௩௩அந்தப் பட்டணங்களைச் சுற்றிலும், பாகால்வரையுள்ள அவர்களுடைய எல்லா குடியிருப்புக்களும், அவர்கள் தங்குமிடங்களும், அவர்களுடைய வம்ச அட்டவணையும் இவைகளே.
34 And Meshobab, and Jamlech, and Joshah, the son of Amaziah;
௩௪மெசோபாபும், யம்லேகும், அமத்சியாவின் மகன் யோஷாவும்,
35 and Joel, —and Jehu, the son of Joshibiah, the son of Seraiah, the son of Asiel:
௩௫யோவேலும், ஆசியேலின் மகன் செராயாவுக்குப் பிறந்த யோசிபியாவின் மகன் ஏகூவும்,
36 and Elioenai, and Jaakobah, and Jeshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Jesimiel, and Benaiah:
௩௬எலியோனாயும், யாக்கோபாவும், யெசொகாயாவும், அசாயாவும், ஆதியேலும், யெசிமியேலும், பெனாயாவும்,
37 and Ziza, son of Shiphi, son of Allon, son of Jedaiah, son of Shimri, son of Shemaiah.
௩௭செமாயா பெற்ற சிம்ரியின் மகன் யெதாயாவுக்குப் பிறந்த அல்லோனின் மகனாகிய சீப்பியின் மகன் சீசாவும் என்று,
38 These, introduced by their names, were leading men in their families. And, their ancestral house, brake forth exceedingly;
௩௮பெயர் வரிசையில் எழுதியிருக்கிற இவர்கள் தங்களுடைய வம்சங்களில் பிரபுக்களாக இருந்தார்கள்; இவர்களுடைய பிதாக்களின் வீட்டார்கள் ஏராளமாகப் பரவியிருந்தார்கள்.
39 so they went to the entering in of Gerar, unto the east of the valley, —to seek pasture for their flocks;
௩௯தங்களுடைய ஆடுகளுக்கு மேய்ச்சலைத் தேடும்படி தேதோரின் எல்லையாகிய மலைப்பகுதியின் கிழக்குப்புறம்வரை போய்,
40 and they found pasture, fat and good, and, the land, was broad on both hands, and quiet, and secure, —for, of Ham, were the dwellers there aforetime.
௪0நல்ல செழிப்பான மேய்ச்சலும், அமைதியும், சுகமுமுள்ள விசாலமான தேசத்தைக் கண்டுபிடித்தார்கள்; ஆரம்பத்திலே காமின் சந்ததியார்கள் அங்கே குடியிருந்தார்கள்.
41 But these written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and smote their tents, and the Meunim who were found there, and devoted them, until this day, and dwelt in their stead, —for there was pasture for their flocks, there.
௪௧பெயர் வரிசையில் எழுதியிருக்கிற இவர்கள் யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய எசேக்கியாவின் நாட்களிலே அங்கே போய், அங்கே கண்டுபிடித்தவர்களின் கூடாரங்களையும் மறைவிடங்களையும் அழித்து, இந்த நாளிலே இருக்கிறதுபோல, அவர்களை முற்றிலும் அழித்து, அங்கே தங்களுடைய ஆடுகளுக்கு மேய்ச்சல் இருந்தபடியால், அவர்கள் அந்த இடத்திலே குடியேறினார்கள்.
42 And, some of them, of the sons of Simeon, went to Mount Seir, five hundred men, —with Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rephaiah, and Uzziel, sons of Ishi, at their head;
௪௨சிமியோனின் கோத்திரத்தார்களாகிய இவர்களில் ஐந்நூறு மனிதர்களும், அவர்களுடைய தலைவர்களாகிய இஷியின் மகன்களான பெலத்தியாவும், நெகரியாவும், ரெப்பாயாவும், ஊசியேலும், சேயீர் மலைத்தேசத்திற்குப் போய்,
43 and they smote the remainder that had escaped, of the Amalekites, —and dwelt there—[as they have] unto this day.
௪௩அமலேக்கியர்களில் தப்பி மீதியாக இருந்தவர்களைத் தோற்கடித்து, இந்த நாள்வரை இருக்கிறபடி அங்கே குடியேறினார்கள்.
