1 Chronicles 4
1 the sons of Judah, Perez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal.
यहूदाका सन्तानहरू फारेस, हेस्रोन, कर्मी, हूर र शोबाल थिए ।
2 And, Reaiah son of Shobal, begat Jahath, and, Jahath, begat Ahumai, and Lahad. These, are the families of the Zorathites.
शोबाल रायाहका पिता थिए । रायाह यहतका पिता थिए । यहत अहूमै र लहदका पिता थिए । सोरातीहरूका वंश यी नै थिए ।
3 And, these, were the sons of Etam, Jezreel and Ishma, and Idbash, —and, the name of their sister, was Hazzelelponi;
एताम सहरका वंशहरूका पुर्खाहरू यिनै थिएः यिजरेल, यिश्मा, यिदबश । तिनीहरूकी बहिनीको नाउँ हस्सलेलपोनी थियो ।
4 and Penuel the father of Gedor, and Ezer, the father of Hushah. These, are the sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrathah, the father of Bethlehem.
पनूएलचाहिं गदोर सहरका वंशका पुर्खा थिए । एसेर हूशका वंश सुरु गर्ने व्यक्ति थिए । एप्रातका जेठा छोरा र बेथलेहेमको सुरु गर्ने व्यक्ति हूरका सन्तान थिए ।
5 And, Ashhur the father of Tekoa, had two wives, —Helah, and Naarah.
तकोका पिता अश्शूरका दुई पत्नीहरू हेलह र नारा थिए ।
6 And Naarah bare him Ahuzzam and Hepher, and Temeni, and Haahashtari. These, were the sons of Naarah.
नाराले तिनको निम्ति अहुज्जाम, हेपेर, तेमेनी र हाहशतारीलाई जन्माइन् । नाराका छोराहरू यि नै थिए ।
7 And, the sons of Helah, were Zereth, Izhar, and Ethnan.
हेलहका छोराहरू सेरेथ, सोहोर, एतनान,
8 And, Koz, begat Anub, and Zobebah, —and the families of Aharhel, the son of Harum.
र कोस थिए । कोसचाहिं आनूब र हज्जोबेबा अनि हारूमका छोरा अहर्हेलबाट आएका वंशहरूका पिता थिए ।
9 Now it came to pass that Jabez was more honourable than his brethren, —but, his mother, had called his name Jabez, ["he causes pain"] saying, Because I bare him with pain.
याबेस आफ्ना दाजुभाइभन्दा आदरणीय थिए । तिनकी आमाले तिनलाई याबेस नाउँ दिइन् । तिनले बनिन्, “किनभने मैले त्यसलाई वेदनामा जन्माएँ ।”
10 So then Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldst, indeed bless, me, and enlarge my boundary, and that thy hand might be with me, —and that thou wouldst work [to deliver me] from evil, that it be not my pain. And God brought about that which he asked.
याबेसले इस्राएलीहरूका परमेश्वरलाई पुकारा गरे र यसो भने, “तपाईंले मलाई साँच्चै आशिष् दिनुहुन्छ भने, मेरो इलाका बढाउनुहोस्, र तपाईंको हात ममाथि रहोस् । तपाईंले यसो गर्नुहुँदा तपाईंले मलाई जोखिमबाट जोगाउनुहुन्छ, जसले गर्दा म पीडामुक्त हुन सक्छु ।” यसैले परमेश्वरले तिनको बिन्ती सुन्नुभयो ।
11 And, Chelub the brother of Shuhah, begat Mehir, the same, was the father of Eshton.
शूहहका भाइ कलूब मेहीरका पिता बने, जो एश्तोनका पिता थिए ।
12 And, Eshton, begat Beth-rapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah, the father of Ir-nahash. These, are the men of Recah.
एश्तोन बेथ-रापा, पसेह र इर-नाहशका पिता तहिन्नाका पिता बने । यिनीहरू रेकाका मानिसहरू थिए ।
13 And, the sons of Kenaz, were Othniel, and Seraiah, —and, the sons of Othniel, Hathath.
कनजका छोराहरू ओत्निएल र सरायाह थिए । ओत्निएलका छोराहरू हतत र मोनोतै थिए ।
14 And, Meonothai, begat Ophrah, —and, Seraiah, begat Joab, the father of Ge-harashim, for they were, craftsmen.
मोनोतै ओप्राका पिता बने र सरायाह योआबका पिता बने, र गे-हरशीमको सुरु गर्ने योआबका पिता बने जसका मानिसहरू कारीगरहरू थिए ।
15 And, the sons of Caleb son of Jephunneh, were Iru, Elah, and Naam, —and the sons of Elah and Kenaz.
यपुन्नेका छोरा कालेबका छोराहरू ईरू, एलाह र नआम थिए । एलाहका छोरा कनज थिए ।
16 And, the sons of Jehallelel, Ziph and Ziphah, Tiria, and Asarel.
यहललेलका छोराहरू जीप, जीपा, तीरया र असरेल थिए ।
17 And, the sons of Ezrah, Jether and Mered, and Epher and Jalon. And, these, are the sons of Bithia, daughter of Pharaoh, whom Mered took, —and she conceived and bare Miriam and Shammai, and Ishbah, the father of Eshtemoa.
एज्रहका छोराहरू येतेर, मेरेद, एपेर, यालोन थिए । मेरेदले विवाह गरेकी मिश्री बित्याहले मिरियम, शम्मै र एश्तमोका पिता यिश्बहलाई जन्माइन् ।
18 And, his wife, the Jewess, bare Jered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Soco, and Jekuthiel, the father of Zanoah.
यिनीहरू मेरेदले बिहा गरेर ल्याएकी फारोकी छोरी बित्याहका छोराहरू थिए । मेरेदकी यहूदी पत्नीले गदोरका पिता येरेद, सोखोका पिता हेबेर र जानोहका पिता यकूतीएललाई जन्माइन् ।
19 And, the sons of the wife of Hodiah, the sister of Naham, were the father of Keilah, the Garmite, —and Eshtemoa, the Maacathite.
नहमकी बहिनी होदियाहकी पत्नीका छोराहरूमध्ये एक गेरेमी कीलाहका पिता बने । अर्का माकाती एश्तमो थिए ।
20 And, the sons of Shimon, Amnon, and Rinnah, Ben-hanan and Tilon. And, the sons of Ishi, Zoheth, and Ben-zoheth.
शिमोनका छोराहरू अमनोन, रिन्ना, बेन-हानान र तीलोन थिए । यिशीका छोराहरू जोहेत र बेन-जोहेत थिए ।
21 the sons of Shelah, the son of Judah, Er, the father of Lecah, and Laadah, the father of Mareshah, —and the families of the house of them that wrought fine linen, of the house of Ashbea;
यहूदाका छोरा शेलहका सन्तानहरू लेकाका पिता एर्, मारेशाका पिता लादा, र बेथ-अश्बेयामा मलमलका कपडा बनाउनेहरूका वंशहरू,
22 and Jokim, and the men of Cozeba, and Joash, and Saraph who ruled for Moab, and Jashubi-lehem, —but, the records, are ancient.
योकीम, कोजेबाका मानिसहरू, र योआश र साराप, जसले मोआब र यशूबी-लेहेममा राज्य गरे । (यो विवरण प्राचीन लेखोटबाट लिइएको हो ।)
23 They, were the potters and the inhabitants of Netaim, and Gederah, —with the king in his work, dwelt they there.
यि कुमालेहरू नतैम र गदेरामा बस्थे र राजाको निम्ति काम गर्थे ।
24 The sons of Simeon, Nemuel, and Jamin, Jarib, Zerah, Shaul:
शिमियोनका सन्तानहरू नमूएल, यामीन, यारीब, जेरह र शौल थिए ।
25 Shallum his son, Mibsam his son, Mishma his son.
शौलका छोरा शल्लूम थिए, शल्लूमका छोरा मिब्साम थिए, र मिब्सामका छोरा मिश्मा थिए ।
26 And, the sons of Mishma, Hammuel his son, Zaccur his son, Shimei his son.
मिश्माका सन्तानहरू तिनका छोरा हम्मूएल, तिनका नाति जक्कूर, तिनका पनाति शिमी थिए ।
27 And, Shimei, had sixteen sons, and six daughters, but, his brethren, had not many children, —nor did, any of their family, multiply so much as the sons of Judah.
शिमीका सोह्र जना छोरा र छ जना छोरी थिए । तिनका भाइका धेरै छोराछोरी थिएनन् । यसैले तिनीहरूको वंश यहूदाको वंश जति धेरै संख्यामा बढेन ।
28 And they dwelt in Beer-sheba, and Moladah, and Hazar-shual;
तिनीहरू बेर्शेबा, मोलादा र हसर-शूआलमा बसे ।
29 and in Bilhah, and in Ezem, and in Tolad;
तिनीहरू बिल्हा, एसेम, तोलद,
30 and in Bethuel, and in Hormah, and in Ziklag;
बतूएल, होर्मा, सिक्लग,
31 and in Beth-marcaboth, and in Hazar-susim, and in Beth-biri, and in Shaaraim. These, were their cities unto the reign of David.
बेथ-मर्काबोत, हसर-शूसीम, बेथ-बिरी र शारैममा पनि बसे । दाऊदले शासन नगरेसम्म तिनीहरूका सहरहरू यी नै थिए ।
32 And, their villages, were Etam, and Ain, Rimmon, and Tochen, and Ashan, —five cities;
तिनीहरूका पाँच बस्तीहरू एताम, ऐन, रिम्मोन, तोकेन र आशान थिए,
33 and all their villages that were round about these cities, as far as Baal. These, were their habitations, and they had their own genealogical register.
साथै बालातसम्मै वरिपरि तिनीहरूका गाउँहरू थिए । तिनीहरूका बस्तिहरू यी नै थिए, र तिनीहरूले वंशाक्रमको लेख राखे ।
34 And Meshobab, and Jamlech, and Joshah, the son of Amaziah;
वंशका अगुवाहरू मशोबाब, यम्लेक, अमस्याहका छोरा योशा,
35 and Joel, —and Jehu, the son of Joshibiah, the son of Seraiah, the son of Asiel:
योएल, योशिब्याहका छोरा येहू, जो सरायाहका नाति र असीएलका पनाति थिए,
36 and Elioenai, and Jaakobah, and Jeshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Jesimiel, and Benaiah:
एल्योएनै, याकोबा, याशोहायाह, असायाह, अदीएल, यसीमीएल, बनायाह,
37 and Ziza, son of Shiphi, son of Allon, son of Jedaiah, son of Shimri, son of Shemaiah.
र शिपीका छोरा जीजा, जो अल्लोनका नाति, यदायाहका पनाति, शिम्रीका खनाति र शमायाहका जनाति थिए ।
38 These, introduced by their names, were leading men in their families. And, their ancestral house, brake forth exceedingly;
माथि लेखिएका मानिसहरू आ-आफ्नो वंशका अगुवाहरू थिए, र तिनीहरूका वंश ज्यादै धेरै बढे ।
39 so they went to the entering in of Gerar, unto the east of the valley, —to seek pasture for their flocks;
तिनीहरू आफ्ना बगालहरूका निम्ति खर्क खोज्दै बेँसीको पूर्वपट्टि गदोरको छेउसम्म गए ।
40 and they found pasture, fat and good, and, the land, was broad on both hands, and quiet, and secure, —for, of Ham, were the dwellers there aforetime.
तिनीहरूले प्रसस्त र राम्रो खर्क भेट्टाए । त्यो भुभाग फराकिलो, शान्त र सूनसान थियो । अघि त्यो ठाउँमा हामका मानिसहरू बसेका थिए ।
41 But these written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and smote their tents, and the Meunim who were found there, and devoted them, until this day, and dwelt in their stead, —for there was pasture for their flocks, there.
यहूदाका राजा हिजकियाको राजकालमा सूचीकृत यी मानिसहरू आए र त्यहाँ भएका हामका मानिसहरू र मोनीहरूलाई आक्रमण गरे । तिनीहरूले उनीहरूलाई पूर्ण रूपमा सखाप पारे र आफ्ना बगालका लागि खर्क पाएको हुनाले तिनीहरू त्यहाँ बसोबास गेर ।
42 And, some of them, of the sons of Simeon, went to Mount Seir, five hundred men, —with Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rephaiah, and Uzziel, sons of Ishi, at their head;
तिबाट, शिमियोनका छोराहरू पलत्याह, नार्याह, रपायाह र उज्जीएललाई आफ्ना अगुवा बनाएर पाँच सय जति मानिसहरू सेइर पहाडमा गए ।
43 and they smote the remainder that had escaped, of the Amalekites, —and dwelt there—[as they have] unto this day.
तिनीहरूले बाँचेका अमालेकी शरणार्थीहरू सबैलाई पराजित गरे, र आजको दिनसम्म त्यहाँ बसेका छन् ।
