1 Chronicles 27

1 Now, the sons of Israel—as to the number of them, the ancestral chiefs—and rulers of thousands and hundreds, and their officers who waited upon the king as to any matter of the courses, who came in and went out month by month, for all the months of the year, in each course, were twenty-four thousand.

2 Over the first course, for the first month, was Jashobeam, son of Zabdiel, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

3 Of the sons of Perez, was the chief for all the rulers of the hosts, for the first month.

Izmed Perecovih otrok je bil vodja vseh poveljnikov vojske za prvi mesec.

4 And, over the course for the second month, was Dodai an Ahohite, and, of his course, was Mikloth also a chief ruler, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Nad skupino drugega meseca je bil Ahóahovec Dodáj in iz njegove skupine je bil tudi vladar Miklót. Tudi v njegovi skupini jih je bilo štiriindvajset tisoč.

5 The ruler of the third host, for the third month, was Benaiah, son of Jehoiada the priest—a chief, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Tretji poveljnik vojske za tretji mesec je bil Benajá, sin Jojadája, vélikega duhovnika in v njegovi skupini jih je bilo štiriindvajset tisoč.

6 The same Benaiah, was a hero of thirty, and over the thirty, —and, over his course, was Ammizabad his son.

To je ta Benajá, ki je bil mogočen med tridesetimi in nad tridesetimi. V njegovi skupini je bil njegov sin Amizabád.

7 The fourth, for the fourth month, was Asahel, brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son, after him, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

8 Of the fifth, for the fifth month, the ruler, was Shamhuth the Izrahite, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

9 The sixth, for the sixth month, was Ira son of Ikkesh, the Tekoite, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Šesti poveljnik za šesti mesec je bil Irá, sin Tekójčana Ikéša. V njegovi skupini jih je bilo štiriindvajset tisoč.

10 The seventh, for the seventh month, was Helez the Pelonite, of the sons of Ephraim, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Sedmi poveljnik za sedmi mesec je bil Péletovec Helec, izmed Efrájimovih otrok. V njegovi skupini jih je bilo štiriindvajset tisoč.

11 The eighth, for the eighth month, was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zerahites, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Osmi poveljnik za osmi mesec je bil Hušán Sibeháj izmed Zerahovcev. V njegovi skupini jih je bilo štiriindvajset tisoč.

12 The ninth, for the ninth month, was Abiezer the Anathothite, of the Benjamites, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Deveti poveljnik za deveti mesec je bil Abiézer Anatotčan izmed Benjaminovcev. V njegovi skupini jih je bilo štiriindvajset tisoč.

13 The tenth, for the tenth month, was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zerahites, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Deseti poveljnik za deseti mesec je bil Netófčan Mahráj izmed Zerahovcev. V njegovi skupini jih je bilo štiriindvajset tisoč.

14 The eleventh, for the eleventh month, was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the sons of Ephraim, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Enajsti poveljnik za enajsti mesec je bil Piratónec Benajá izmed Efrájimovih otrok. V njegovi skupini jih je bilo štiriindvajset tisoč.

15 The twelfth, for the twelfth month, was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Dvanajsti poveljnik za dvanajsti mesec je bil Netófčan Heldáj iz Otniéla. V njegovi skupini jih je bilo štiriindvajset tisoč.

16 Furthermore, over the tribes of Israel, the chief ruler of the Reubenites, was Eliezer, son of Zichri. Of the Simeonites, Shephatiah, son of Maacah.

Nadalje je bil nad Izraelovimi rodovi vladar Rubenovcev Zihríjev sin Eliézer; izmed Simeoncev Maahájev sin Šefatjá;

17 Of Levi, Hashabiah, son of Kemuel. Of Aaron, Zadok.

18 Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David. Of Issachar, Omri, son of Michael.

19 Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah, son of Obadiah. Of Naphtali, Jeremoth, son of Azriel.

20 Of the sons of Ephraim, Hoshea son of Azaziah. Of the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel, son of Pedaiah.

21 Of the half of Manasseh, in Gilead, Iddo, son of Zechariah. Of Benjamin, Jaasiel, son of Abner.

22 Of Dan, Azarel, son of Jeroham. These, were the rulers of the tribes of Israel.

izmed Danovcev Jerohámov sin Azarél. Ti so bili princi Izraelovih rodov.

23 But David took not the number of them, from twenty years old, and under, —because Yahweh had said, he would multiply Israel like the stars of the heavens.

Toda David ni preštel tistih, ki so bili stari dvajset let in mlajših, ker je Gospod rekel, da bo on pomnožil Izraela kakor zvezd neba.

24 Joab son of Zeruiah, began to number, but finished not, when there arose, on this account, indignation against Israel, —neither did the number come up into the account of the chronicles of King David.

Cerújin sin Joáb je začel šteti, toda ni končal, ker je zaradi tega padel bes zoper Izraela. Niti število ni bilo vpisano v poročilo kronik kralja Davida.

25 And, over the treasuries of the king, was Azmaveth, son of Adiel. And, over the treasuries in the fields, in the cities, in the villages and in the castles, was Jonathan, son of Uzziah;

Nad kraljevimi zakladnicami je bil Adiélov sin Azmávet. Nad skladišči, na poljih, v mestih, vaseh in gradovih je bil Uzíjahov sin Jehonatan.

26 And, over the workers of the field, for the tillage of the ground, was Ezri, son of Chelub.

Nad tistimi, ki so opravljali poljsko delo obdelovanja zemlje, je bil Kelúbov sin Ezrí.

27 And, over the vineyards, was Shimei, the Ramathite. And, over that which was in the vineyards, for the treasuries of wine, was Zabdi, the Shiphmite.

Nad vinogradi je bil Ramatejec Šimí. Nad donosom vinogradov za vinske kleti je bil Šefámec Zabdí.

28 And, over the olive-trees and the sycamore-trees that were in the lowland, was Baal-hanan the Gederite. And, over the treasuries of oil, was Joash.

Nad oljkami in egiptovskimi smokvami, ki so bile na nizkih ravnicah, je bil Géderčan Báal Hanán. Nad shrambami olja je bil Joáš.

29 And, over the herds that pastured in Sharon, was Shitrai, the Sharonite. And, over the herds in the vales, Shaphat, son of Adlai.

Nad čredami, ki so se pasle v Šarónu, je bil Šarónec Šitráj. Nad čredami, ki so bile v dolinah, je bil Adlájev sin Šafát.

30 And, over the camels, was Obil, the Ishmaelite. And, over the asses, was Jehdeyahu the Meronothite.

Nad kamelami je bil tudi Izmaelec Obíl. Nad osli je bil Meronočán Jehdejá.

31 And, over the flocks, was Jaziz, the Hagrite. All these, were rulers over the possessions that belonged to King David.

Nad tropi je bil Hagríjevec Jazíz. Vsi ti so bili vladarji imetja, ki je bilo od kralja Davida.

32 And, Jonathan the relative of David, was a counsellor, a man of understanding and a scribe, was he. And, Jehiel son of Hachmoni, was with the sons of the king.

Tudi Davidov stric Jonatan je bil svetovalec, moder mož in pisar. In Hahmoníjev sin Jehiél je bil s kraljevimi sinovi.

33 And, Ahitophel, was counsellor to the king. And, Hushai the Archite, was the companion of the king.

Ahitófel je bil kraljev svetovalec in Arkéjec Hušáj je bil kraljev družabnik.

34 And, after Ahitophel, was Jehoiada son of Benaiah—and Abiathar. And, the captain of the king’s army, was Joab.

Za Ahitófelom sta bila Benajájev sin Jojadá in Abjatár. General kraljeve vojske pa je bil Joáb.
