1 Chronicles 27
1 Now, the sons of Israel—as to the number of them, the ancestral chiefs—and rulers of thousands and hundreds, and their officers who waited upon the king as to any matter of the courses, who came in and went out month by month, for all the months of the year, in each course, were twenty-four thousand.
૧ઇઝરાયલપુત્રોની સંખ્યા, એટલે તેઓનાં કુટુંબોના સરદારો, સહસ્રાધિપતિઓ, શતાધિપતિઓ તથા સૈન્યના અધિકારીઓ, જેઓની ટુકડીઓમાંથી એકેક ટુકડીના સૈનિકો પોતાના નિયતક્રમ પ્રમાણે વર્ષમાં માસવાર ફરજ બજાવતા હતા. તથા જેઓ દરેક બાબતમાં રાજાની સેવા કરતા હતા. દરેક ટુકડીઓમાં તેઓની સંખ્યા ચોવીસ હજારની હતી.
2 Over the first course, for the first month, was Jashobeam, son of Zabdiel, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.
૨પહેલા માસને માટે ટુકડીનો ઉપરી ઝાબ્દીએલનો પુત્ર યાશોબામ હતો. તેની ટુકડીમાં ચોવીસ હજાર હતા.
3 Of the sons of Perez, was the chief for all the rulers of the hosts, for the first month.
૩તે પેરેસના પુત્રોમાંનો હતો. તે પ્રથમ માસની ટુકડીના સર્વ સરદારોનો ઉપરી હતો.
4 And, over the course for the second month, was Dodai an Ahohite, and, of his course, was Mikloth also a chief ruler, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.
૪બીજા માસની ટુકડીનો ઉપરી દોદાય અહોહી હતો. મિક્લોથ બીજા ક્રમે હતો. તેની ટોળીમાં ચોવીસ હજાર માણસો હતા.
5 The ruler of the third host, for the third month, was Benaiah, son of Jehoiada the priest—a chief, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.
૫ત્રીજા માસની ટુકડીનો ઉપરી સૈન્યનો આગેવાન યહોયાદા યાજકનો પુત્ર બનાયા હતો. તેની ટુકડીમાં ચોવીસ હજાર પુરુષો હતા.
6 The same Benaiah, was a hero of thirty, and over the thirty, —and, over his course, was Ammizabad his son.
૬જે ત્રીસ શૂરવીરોમાં પરાક્રમી તથા તેમનો જે સરદાર હતો તે જ એ બનાયા હતો. તેની ટુકડીમાં તેનો પુત્ર આમ્મીઝાબાદ હતો.
7 The fourth, for the fourth month, was Asahel, brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son, after him, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.
૭ચોથા માસને માટે ટુકડીનો ઉપરી યોઆબનો ભાઈ અસાહેલ હતો. તેના પછી તેનો પુત્ર ઝબાદ્યા હતો. તેની ટુકડીમાં ચોવીસ હજાર પુરુષો હતા.
8 Of the fifth, for the fifth month, the ruler, was Shamhuth the Izrahite, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.
૮પાંચમા માસને માટે પાંચમો સરદાર શામ્હૂથ યિઝાહીનો વંશજ હતો. તેની ટુકડીમાં ચોવીસ હજાર પુરુષો હતા.
9 The sixth, for the sixth month, was Ira son of Ikkesh, the Tekoite, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.
૯છઠ્ઠા માસને માટે છઠ્ઠો સરદાર તકોઈ ઇક્કેશનો પુત્ર ઈરા હતો. તેની ટુકડીમાં ચોવીસ હજાર પુરુષો હતા.
10 The seventh, for the seventh month, was Helez the Pelonite, of the sons of Ephraim, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.
૧૦સાતમા માસને માટે સાતમો સરદાર એફ્રાઇમપુત્રોમાંનો હેલેસ પલોની હતો. તેની ટુકડીમાં ચોવીસ હજાર પુરુષો હતા.
11 The eighth, for the eighth month, was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zerahites, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.
૧૧આઠમા માસને માટે આઠમો સરદાર ઝેરાહીઓમાંનો સિબ્બખાય હુશાથી હતો. તેની ટુકડીમાં ચોવીસ હજાર પુરુષો હતા.
12 The ninth, for the ninth month, was Abiezer the Anathothite, of the Benjamites, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.
૧૨નવમા માસને માટે નવમો સરદાર બિન્યામીનીઓમાંના અબીએઝેર અનાથોથી હતો. તેની ટુકડીમાં ચોવીસ હજાર પુરુષો હતા.
13 The tenth, for the tenth month, was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zerahites, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.
૧૩દસમા માસને માટે દસમો સરદાર ઝેરાહીઓમાંનો મહારાય નટોફાથી હતો. તેની ટુકડીઓમાં ચોવીસ હજાર પુરુષો હતા.
14 The eleventh, for the eleventh month, was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the sons of Ephraim, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.
૧૪અગિયારમા માસને માટે અગિયારમો સરદાર એફ્રાઇમપુત્રોમાંનો બનાયા પિરઆથોની હતો. તેની ટુકડીમાં ચોવીસ હજાર પુરુષો હતા.
15 The twelfth, for the twelfth month, was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.
૧૫બારમા માસને માટે બારમો સરદાર ઓથ્નીએલનો હેલદાઈ નટોફાથી હતો. તેની ટુકડીમાં ચોવીસ હજાર પુરુષો હતા.
16 Furthermore, over the tribes of Israel, the chief ruler of the Reubenites, was Eliezer, son of Zichri. Of the Simeonites, Shephatiah, son of Maacah.
૧૬તે ઉપરાંત ઇઝરાયલનાં કુળો પર નિમાયેલા અધિકારીઓની યાદી: રુબેનીઓનો અમલદાર ઝિખ્રીનો પુત્ર એલિએઝેર, શિમયોનીઓનો માકાનો પુત્ર શફાટયા,
17 Of Levi, Hashabiah, son of Kemuel. Of Aaron, Zadok.
૧૭લેવીના કુળનો કમુએલનો પુત્ર હશાબ્યા, હારુનના પુત્રોમાંનો સાદોક,
18 Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David. Of Issachar, Omri, son of Michael.
૧૮યહૂદાકુળનો અલીહૂ, તે દાઉદના ભાઈઓમાંનો એક હતો. ઇસ્સાખારકુળનો, મિખાએલનો પુત્ર ઓમ્રી,
19 Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah, son of Obadiah. Of Naphtali, Jeremoth, son of Azriel.
૧૯ઝબુલોનનાકુળનો ઓબાદ્યાનો પુત્ર ઇશ્માયા, નફતાલી કુળનો આઝ્રીએલનો પુત્ર યરિમોથ,
20 Of the sons of Ephraim, Hoshea son of Azaziah. Of the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel, son of Pedaiah.
૨૦એફ્રાઇમકુળના અઝાઝયાનો પુત્ર હોશિયા, મનાશ્શાના અર્ધકુળનો પદાયાનો પુત્ર યોએલ,
21 Of the half of Manasseh, in Gilead, Iddo, son of Zechariah. Of Benjamin, Jaasiel, son of Abner.
૨૧ગિલ્યાદમાં મનાશ્શાના અર્ધકુળનો ઝખાર્યા પુત્ર ઇદ્દો, બિન્યામીનકુળનો, આબ્નેરનો પુત્ર યાસિયેલ,
22 Of Dan, Azarel, son of Jeroham. These, were the rulers of the tribes of Israel.
૨૨દાનકુળનો યરોહામનો પુત્ર અઝારેલ, તેઓ ઇઝરાયલનાં કુળોના અધિકારીઓ હતા.
23 But David took not the number of them, from twenty years old, and under, —because Yahweh had said, he would multiply Israel like the stars of the heavens.
૨૩દાઉદે તેની પ્રજામાંથી વીસ વર્ષના તથા તેથી ઓછી વયના લોકોની વસ્તી ગણતરી કરાવી નહોતી, કારણ કે યહોવાહે, ઇઝરાયલીઓની સંખ્યા આકાશના તારાઓની જેમ વધારવાનું વચન આપ્યું હતું.
24 Joab son of Zeruiah, began to number, but finished not, when there arose, on this account, indignation against Israel, —neither did the number come up into the account of the chronicles of King David.
૨૪સરુયાના પુત્ર યોઆબે વસ્તી ગણતરી શરૂ કરી પણ તેણે પૂરી કરી નહોતી. ગણતરી કરવાને લીધે ઇઝરાયલ પર કોપ આવ્યો. દાઉદ રાજાના કાળવૃત્તાંતના ઇતિહાસમાં આ ગણતરી નોંધાવામાં આવી ન હતી.
25 And, over the treasuries of the king, was Azmaveth, son of Adiel. And, over the treasuries in the fields, in the cities, in the villages and in the castles, was Jonathan, son of Uzziah;
૨૫રાજાના ભંડારો ઉપર અદીએલનો પુત્ર આઝમાવેથ નિમાયેલો હતો. સીમમાંના નગરોમાંના, ગામોમાંના અને કિલ્લાઓમાંના ભંડારો ઉપર ઉઝિયાનો પુત્ર યોનાથાન નિમાયેલો હતો.
26 And, over the workers of the field, for the tillage of the ground, was Ezri, son of Chelub.
૨૬ખેતી કરનારાઓ ઉપર દેખરેખ રાખવા કલૂબનો પુત્ર એઝ્રી હતો.
27 And, over the vineyards, was Shimei, the Ramathite. And, over that which was in the vineyards, for the treasuries of wine, was Zabdi, the Shiphmite.
૨૭રામાથી શિમઈ દ્રાક્ષવાડીઓ ઉપર દેખરેખ રાખતો હતો, દ્રાક્ષારસના ભંડાર પર ઝાબ્દી શિફ્મી દેખરેખ રાખતો હતો.
28 And, over the olive-trees and the sycamore-trees that were in the lowland, was Baal-hanan the Gederite. And, over the treasuries of oil, was Joash.
૨૮જૈતૂનવૃક્ષો તથા ગુલ્લરવૃક્ષો નીચાણના પ્રદેશમાં જે હતાં, તેઓ પર બાલ-હાનાન ગદેરી દેખરેખ રાખતો હતો. યોઆશની જવાબદારી તેલના ભંડાર પર હતી.
29 And, over the herds that pastured in Sharon, was Shitrai, the Sharonite. And, over the herds in the vales, Shaphat, son of Adlai.
૨૯શારોનમાં ચરનારાં જાનવરો પર શિટ્રાય શારોની અને અદલાયનો પુત્ર શાફાટ ખીણોમાં ચરતાં જાનવરો પર દેખરેખ રાખતા હતા.
30 And, over the camels, was Obil, the Ishmaelite. And, over the asses, was Jehdeyahu the Meronothite.
૩૦ઓબિલ ઇશ્માએલી ઊંટોની અને મેરોનોથી યહદયા ગધેડાંની સંભાળ રાખતા હતા. યાઝીઝ હાગ્રી ઘેટાંબકરાં સંભાળતો હતો.
31 And, over the flocks, was Jaziz, the Hagrite. All these, were rulers over the possessions that belonged to King David.
૩૧આ બધા માણસો દાઉદ રાજાની સંપત્તિ સંભાળનારા અધિકારીઓ હતા.
32 And, Jonathan the relative of David, was a counsellor, a man of understanding and a scribe, was he. And, Jehiel son of Hachmoni, was with the sons of the king.
૩૨દાઉદના કાકા યોનાથાન, કુશળ સલાહકાર અને ચીટનીસ હતો. હાખ્મોનીનો પુત્ર યહીએલ રાજાના પુત્રોનો શિક્ષક હતો.
33 And, Ahitophel, was counsellor to the king. And, Hushai the Archite, was the companion of the king.
૩૩અહિથોફેલ રાજાનો સલાહકાર હતો અને હુશાય આર્કી રાજાનો અંગત સલાહકાર હતો.
34 And, after Ahitophel, was Jehoiada son of Benaiah—and Abiathar. And, the captain of the king’s army, was Joab.
૩૪બનાયાનો પુત્ર યહોયાદા અને અબ્યાથાર એ બન્ને અહિથોફેલના મદદનીશો હતા. અને યોઆબ રાજાના સૈન્યનો સેનાપતિ હતો.
