1 Chronicles 26
1 To the courses of the door-keepers, pertained, —of the Korahites, Meshelemiah son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph;
Die Abteilungen der Torhüter: von den Korhitern: Meschelemja, der Sohn Kores, von den Söhnen Asaphs;
2 and, Meshelemiah, had sons, —Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth;
und Meschelemja hatte Söhne: Sekarja, der Erstgeborene; Jediael, der zweite; Sebadja, der dritte; Jathniel, der vierte;
3 Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh.
Elam, der fünfte; Jochanan, der sechste; Eljehoenai, der siebte. -
4 And, Obed-edom, had sons, —Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Josh the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth;
Und Obed-Edom hatte Söhne: Schemaja, der Erstgeborene; Josabad, der zweite; Joach, der dritte; und Sakar, der vierte; und Nethaneel, der fünfte;
5 Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai, the eighth, —for God had blessed him.
Ammiel, der sechste: Issaschar, der siebte; Peullethai, der achte; denn Gott hatte ihn gesegnet. -
6 And, to Shemaiah his son, were born sons, who bare rule to their ancestral house, —for, heroes of valour, were they.
Und Schemaja, seinem Sohne, wurden Söhne geboren, welche in dem Hause ihres Vaters herrschten, denn sie waren tapfere [O. tüchtige, wie v 31] Männer.
7 the sons of Shemaiah, were Othni and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren were sons of valour, —Elihu, and Semachiah.
Die Söhne Schemajas: Othni und Rephael und Obed, Elsabad und seine Brüder, wackere Männer, Elihu und Semakja.
8 All these, were of the sons of Obed-edom, they and their sons and their brethren, able men in strength for the service, —sixty-two, pertaining to Obed-edom.
Alle diese von den Söhnen Obed-Edoms, sie und ihre Söhne und ihre Brüder, waren wackere Männer, fähig zum Dienste, 62 von Obed-Edom. -
9 And, Meshelemiah, had sons, and brethren, sons of valour, eighteen.
Und Meschelemja hatte Söhne und Brüder, wackere Männer, achtzehn. -
10 And, Hosah of the sons of Merari, had sons, —Shimri the chief, for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father, made him, chief.
Und Hosa, von den Söhnen Meraris, hatte Söhne: Schimri, das Haupt [obwohl er nicht der Erstgeborene war, setzte sein Vater ihn doch zum Haupte];
11 Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth, —all the sons and brethren of Hosah, were thirteen.
Hilkija, der zweite; Tebalja, der dritte; Sekarja, der vierte. Aller Söhne und Brüder Hosas waren dreizehn.
12 To these, belonged the courses of door-keepers, to the chiefs of the strong men, belonged charges, equally with their brethren, —to be in attendance in the house of Yahweh.
Diese Abteilungen der Torhüter, nach den Häuptern [O. die Häupter] der Männer, hatten die Wachen gleich ihren Brüdern, um in dem Hause Jehovas zu dienen.
13 Yea they cast lots, as the small so the great, by their ancestral house, for every several gate.
Und sie warfen Lose, der Kleine wie der Große, nach ihren Vaterhäusern, für jedes Tor.
14 And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. And, for Zechariah his son, a discreet counsellor, they cast lots, and his lot came out, northward.
Und für Schelemja fiel das Los gegen Osten. Und sie warfen Lose für seinen Sohn Sekarja, der ein verständiger Ratgeber war; und sein Los kam heraus gegen Norden.
15 To Obed-edom, southward, —and, to his sons, the storehouse.
Für Obed-Edom gegen Süden; und seinen Söhnen fiel das Vorratshaus [And. üb.: die Vorratshäuser; so auch v 17] zu.
16 To Shuppim and to Hosah, westward, near the refuse-gate, in the causeway that goeth up, —one ward as well as another.
Für Schuppim und für Hosa gegen Westen, bei dem Tore Schalleketh, an der aufsteigenden Straße, Wache gegen Wache.
17 Eastward—daily, were six, —northward—daily, four, southward—daily, four, and, for the stores, two and two.
Gegen Osten waren sechs Leviten; gegen Norden täglich vier; gegen Süden täglich vier; und an dem Vorratshause je zwei;
18 For the precinct—westward, four, at the causeway, two—by the precinct.
an dem Parbar [S. die Anm. zu 2. Kön. 23,11] gegen Westen: vier an der Straße, zwei an dem Parbar.
19 These, were the courses of the door-keepers, of the sons of the Korahites, and of the sons of Merari.
Das sind die Abteilungen der Torhüter von den Söhnen der Korhiter und von den Söhnen Meraris.
20 And, the Levites, their brethren, were over the treasuries of the house of God, even to the treasuries of hallowed things.
Und die Leviten: Achija war [And. l.: Und die Leviten, ihre Brüder, waren] über die Schätze des Hauses Gottes und über die Schätze der geheiligten Dinge. -
21 The sons of Ladan—the sons of the Gershonites belonging to Ladan—the ancestral chiefs belonging to Ladan the Gershonite, were Jehieli;
Die Söhne Ladans, die Söhne der Gersoniter von Ladan, die Häupter der Väter von Ladan, dem Gersoniter, die Jechieliter,
22 the sons of Jehieli, Zetham and Joel his brother who were over the treasuries of the house of Yahweh.
die Söhne der Jechieliter: Setham und sein Bruder Joel, waren über die Schätze des Hauses Jehovas. -
23 Then came certain of the Amramites, of the Izharites, of the Hebronites, of the Uzzielites.
Was die Amramiter, die Jizhariter, die Hebroniter, die Ussieliter betrifft,
24 And, Shebuel, son of Gershom, son of Moses, was chief ruler over the treasuries.
so war Schebuel, der Sohn Gersoms, des Sohnes Moses, Oberaufseher über die Schätze. -
25 And, his brethren pertaining to Eliezer, were Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomoth his son.
Und seine Brüder, von Elieser: dessen Sohn Rechabja, und dessen Sohn Jesaja, und dessen Sohn Joram, und dessen Sohn Sikri, und dessen Sohn Schelomith.
26 The same Shelomoth and his brethren, were over all the treasuries of the hallowed things, which David the king and the ancestral chiefs, with the captains of thousands and hundreds and the captains of the army, had hallowed:
Dieser Schelomith und seine Brüder waren über alle Schätze der geheiligten Dinge, welche der König David und die Häupter der Väter, die Obersten über tausend und über hundert, und die Obersten des Heeres geheiligt [O. geweiht] hatten;
27 out of the battles and out of the spoil, had they hallowed [them], —to strengthen [the provision] for the house of Yahweh.
von den Kriegen und von der Beute hatten sie sie geheiligt [O. geweiht] zur Unterhaltung des Hauses Jehovas;
28 And, all that Samuel the seer, and Saul son of Kish, and Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah, had hallowed, whosoever had hallowed anything, it was under the direction of Shelomoth, and his brethren.
und über alles, was Samuel, der Seher, und Saul, der Sohn Kis, und Abner, der Sohn Ners, und Joab, der Sohn der Zeruja, geheiligt hatten. Alles Geheiligte stand unter der Aufsicht [W. war unter der Hand] Schelomiths und seiner Brüder. -
29 Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons, were for the outward business over Israel, —as officers, and as judges.
Von den Jizharitern waren Kenanja und seine Söhne für die äußeren Geschäfte über Israel, als Vorsteher und Richter. -
30 Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, sons of valour, one thousand seven hundred, had the oversight of Israel, across the Jordan westward, —for all the business of Yahweh, and for the service of the king.
Von den Hebronitern waren Haschabja und seine Brüder, wackere Männer, 1700, zur Aufsicht über Israel diesseit des Jordan gegen Abend, für alle Angelegenheiten Jehovas und für den Dienst des Königs. -
31 Of the Hebronites, Jerijah, was chief, [he was] of the Hebronites by his generations, by his fathers, —in the fortieth year of the reign of David, were they sought out, and there were found among them heroes of valour, in Jazer of Gilead;
Von den Hebronitern war Jerija das Haupt, von den Hebronitern, nach ihren Geschlechtern, nach den Vätern [im vierzigsten Jahre der Regierung Davids forschte man nach ihnen, und es fanden sich unter ihnen tüchtige Männer zu Jaser-Gilead];
32 and, his brethren that were heroes of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred, ancestral chiefs, —so David the king gave them oversight, over the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half tribe of Manassites, in all the affairs of God, and the affairs of the king.
und seine Brüder, wackere Männer, waren 2700, Häupter der Väter. Und der König David bestellte sie über die Rubeniter und die Gaditer und den halben Stamm Manasse, für alle Angelegenheiten Gottes und für die Angelegenheiten des Königs.
