1 Chronicles 25

1 And David and the captains of the host set apart for service, unto the sons of Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun, such as should prophesy, with lyres, with harps, and with cymbals, —and, the number of the workers, for their service, was:

Daawit ajajjoota loltootaa wajjin akka isaan kiraaraan, baganaa fi kililleetti fayyadamanii raajii dubbataniif maatii Asaaf, Heemaanii fi Yeduutuun keessaa namoota addaan baafate. Maqaan namoota tajaajila kana kennaa turaniis:

2 Of the sons of Asaph, Zaccur and Joseph and Nethaniah and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph, —under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied under the direction of the king.

Ilmaan Asaaf keessaa: Zakuur, Yoosef, Naataaniyaa fi Asareelaa. Ilmaan Asaaf qajeelcha Asaaf jala turan. Asaaf immoo qajeelcha mootichaa jalatti raajii dubbachaa ture.

3 Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun, —Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah—six, under the direction of their father Jeduthun, with the lyre, as he prophesied, in giving thanks and offering praise unto Yahweh.

Ilmaan Yeduutuun keessaa: Gedaaliyaas, Zerii, Isaayyaas, Sameeʼi, Hashabiyaa fi Matiitiyaa. Isaan kunneen jaʼan qajeelcha abbaa isaanii Yeduutuun isa kiraaraan Waaqayyo galateeffachaa fi jajachaa raajii dubbachaa ture sanaa jala turan.

4 Of Heman, the sons of Heman—Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jeremoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth.

Ilmaan Heemaan keessaa: Bukiyaa, Mataaniyaa, Uziiʼeel, Shebuuʼeelii fi Yeriimooti; Hanaaniyaa, Hanaanii, Eliiʼaataa, Gidaltii fi Roomaamti-Ezer; Yoshibqaashaa, Malootii, Hootiirii fi Mahaaziyoo ti.

5 All these, were sons of Heman, the seer of the king in the things of God, at the lifting of the horn. And God gave to Heman, fourteen sons and three daughters,

Isaan kunneen hundi ilmaan Heemaan namicha mootichaaf mulʼata argu sanaa turan. Isaan akka isa kabajaniif akkuma Waaqni abdachiise sanatti isaa ni kennaman. Waaqnis ilmaan kudha afurii fi intallan sadii Heemaaniif ni kenne.

6 All these, were under the direction of their father, in the singing of the house of Yahweh, with cymbals, harps and lyres, for the service of the house of God, —Asaph and Jeduthun and Heman, under the direction of the king.

Namoonni kunneen hundi tajaajila mana Waaqaa keessatti faarfannaa kililleedhaan, kiraaraa fi baganaadhaan mana qulqullummaa Waaqayyoo keessatti faarfatamu sanaaf qajeelcha abbootii isaanii jala turan. Asaaf, Yeduutuunii fi Heemaan immoo qajeelcha mootichaa jala turan.

7 And, the number of them—with their brethren, who were instructed in singing unto Yahweh, —even all the skilful, was two hundred and eighty-eight.

Isaanii fi firoonni isaanii kanneen hundi isaanii faarfannaa Waaqayyoof faarfatamuun leenjifamanii ogummaa qaban walumaa galatti 288 turan.

8 So they cast lots for their charges, all alike, as the small so the great, the teacher with the learner.

Jarris ramaddii isaanii beekuudhaaf xinnaa fi guddaan, barsiisaa fi barataan haaluma wal fakkaatuun ixaa buufatan.

9 And the first lot came forth for Asaph, to Joseph, —Gedaliah, the second, he and his brethren and his sons, twelve.

10 The third, Zaccur, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

sadaffaan Zakuuriif, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan

11 The fourth, to Izri, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

afuraffaan Izriif, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan

12 The fifth, Nethaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

shanaffaan Naataaniyaaf, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan

13 The sixth, Bukkiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

jaʼaffaan Bukiyaaf, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan

14 The seventh, Jesharelah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

torbaffaan Yishiriʼeeliif, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan

15 The eighth, Jeshaiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

saddeettaffaan Yashaayaaf, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan

16 The ninth, Mattaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

saglaffaan Mataaniyaaf, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan

17 The tenth, Shimei, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

kurnaffaan Shimeʼiif, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan

18 The eleventh, Azarel, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

kudha tokkoffaan Azariʼeeliif, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan

19 The twelfth, to Hashabiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

kudha lammaffaan Hashabiyaaf, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan

20 As the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

kudha sadaffaan Shuubaaʼeeliif, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan

21 As the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

kudha afuraffaan Matiitiyaaf, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan

22 As the fifteenth, to Jeremoth, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

kudha shanaffaan Yereemootiif, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii nama kudha lama turan

23 As the sixteenth, to Hananiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

kudha jaʼaffaan Hanaaniyaaf, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan

24 As the seventeenth, to Joshbekashah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

kudha torbaffaan Yoshibqaashaaf, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan

25 As the eighteenth, to Hanani, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

kudha saddeettaffaan Hanaaniif, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii nama kudha lama turan

26 As the nineteenth, to Mallothi, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

kudha saglaffaan Malootiif, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan

27 As the twentieth, to Eliathah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

digdammaffaan Eliyaataaf, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan

28 As the twenty-first, to Hothir, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

digdamii tokkoffaan Hootiiriif, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan

29 As the twenty-second, to Giddalti, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

digdamii lammaffaan Gidaltiif, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan

30 As the twenty-third, to Mahazioth, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

digdamii sadaffaan Mahaaziyootiif, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan

31 As the twenty-fourth, to Romamti-ezer, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

digdamii afuraffaan Roomaamti-Ezeriif, ilmaan isaatii fi firoota isaatiif baʼe; baayʼinni isaanii kudha lama turan.
