1 Chronicles 24
1 Now, the sons of Aaron, had their courses, —the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar;
Sɛdeɛ wɔkyekyɛɛ Aaron asefoɔ a wɔyɛ asɔfoɔ no mu akuakuo ma wɔsomeeɛ no nie: Na Aaron mmammarima no yɛ Nadab, Abihu, Eleasa ne Itamar.
2 but Nadab and Abihu, died, before their father, and sons, had they none, —but Eleazar and Ithamar became priests;
Nanso, Nadab ne Abihu wuiɛ a wɔnni mma ansa na wɔn agya rewu. Enti, ɛkaa Eleasa ne Itamar nko ara a na ɛsɛ sɛ wɔyɛ asɔfoɔ.
3 and David apportioned to them courses, both to Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and to Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, —by their appointed place in their service.
Mmoa a Sadok a na ɔyɛ Eleasa aseni ne Ahimelek a na ɔyɛ Itamar aseni no boaa no enti, Dawid kyekyɛɛ Aaron asefoɔ mu akuakuo sɛdeɛ wɔn dwumadie teɛ.
4 But the sons of Eleazar were found to be more numerous, by the chiefs of their able men, than were the sons of Ithamar, so they divided them, —the sons of Eleazar, had chiefs, of the ancestral house, sixteen, whereas, the sons of Ithamar, had of their ancestral house, eight.
Wɔkyɛɛ Itamar deɛ mu akuo nwɔtwe, ɛfiri sɛ, na Eleasa asefoɔ mu mmusua mpanimfoɔ no dɔɔso.
5 They divided them, therefore, by [casting] lots, these with those, —for there were princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, from among the sons of Eleazar, and among the sons of Ithamar.

6 And Shemaiah son of Nethanel the scribe from among the Levites, wrote them down, before the king and the rulers and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, —one ancestral house, was taken for Eleazar, and, was equally taken, for Ithamar.

7 So then the first lot came forth for Jehoiarib, for Jedaiah, the second;

8 for Harim, the third, for Seorim, the fourth;

9 for Malchijah, the fifth, for Mijamin, the sixth;
Ntonto a ɛtɔ so enum no bɔɔ Malkia. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so nsia no bɔɔ Miyamin.
10 for Hakkoz, the seventh, for Abijah, the eighth;
Ntonto a ɛtɔ so nson no bɔɔ Hakos. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so nwɔtwe no bɔɔ Abia.
11 for Jeshua, the ninth, for Shecaniah, the tenth;
Ntonto a ɛtɔ so nkron no bɔɔ Yesua. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so edu no bɔɔ Sekania.
12 for Eliashib, the eleventh, for Jakim, the twelfth;
Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dubaako no bɔɔ Eliasib. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dumienu no bɔɔ Yakim.
13 for Huppah, the thirteenth, for Jeshebeab, the fourteenth;
Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dumiɛnsa no bɔɔ Hupa. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunan no bɔɔ Yesebeab.
14 for Bilgah, the fifteenth, for Immer, the sixteenth;
Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunum no bɔɔ Bilga. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunsia no bɔɔ Imer.
15 for Hezir, the seventeenth, for Happizzez, the eighteenth;
Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunson no bɔɔ Hesir. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunwɔtwe no bɔɔ Hapises.
16 for Pethahiah, the nineteenth, for Jehezkel, the twentieth;
Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunkron no bɔɔ Petahia. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so aduonu no bɔɔ Yeheskel.
17 for Jachin, the twenty-first, for Gamul, the twenty-second;
Ntonto a ɛtɔ so aduonu baako no bɔɔ Yakin. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so aduonu mmienu no bɔɔ Gamul.
18 for Delaiah, the twenty-third, for Maaziah, the twenty-fourth.
Ntonto a ɛtɔ so aduonu mmiɛnsa no bɔɔ Delaia. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so aduonu ɛnan no bɔɔ Maasia.
19 These, were their appointed places for their service, for entering the house of Yahweh, according to the regulation of them, by the hand of Aaron their father, —just as Yahweh God of Israel, commanded him.

21 Of Rehabiah, of the sons of Rehabiah, the chief Isshiah;

22 of the Izharites, Shelomoth, —of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath;
Yishar asefoɔ ntuanoni ne Selomot. Selomot asefoɔ ntuanoni ne Yahat.
23 and, the sons [of Hebron], Jeriah, —Amariah, the second, Jehaziel, the third, Jekameam, the fourth;
Hebron asefoɔ ntuanofoɔ ne: Yeria; Amaria ne nʼabadiakyire, Yahasiel na ɔtɔ so mmiɛnsa na Yekameam tɔ so ɛnan.
24 the sons of Uzziel, Micah, of the sons of Micah, Shamir;
Usiel asefoɔ ntuanoni ne Mika. Mika asefoɔ ntuanoni ne Samir
25 the brother of Micah, Isshiah, of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.

26 The sons of Merari, Mahli and Mushi, —the sons of Jaaziah, Beno;
Merari asefoɔ ntuanofoɔ ne Mahli ne Musi. Yasia asefoɔ ntuanoni ne Beno.
27 the sons of Merari, of Jaaziah, Beno, and Shoham and Zaccur and Ibri:
Merari asefoɔ a wɔfiri Yasia mu no, ntuanofoɔ no ne: Beno, Soham, Sakur ne Ibri.
28 of Mahli, Eleazar, who had no sons;
Mahli asefoɔ ntuanoni ne Eleasa a na ɔnni mmammarima no.
29 of Kish—the sons of Kish, Jerameel;
Kis asefoɔ ntuanoni ne Yerahmeel.
30 and, the sons of Mushi, Mahli and Eder and Jerimoth. These, were the sons of the Levites, belonging to their ancestral house.
Musi asefoɔ ntuanofoɔ ne Mahli, Eder ne Yerimot. Yeinom ne Lewi asefoɔ ne sɛdeɛ wɔn mmusua teɛ.
31 Moreover, they also, cast lots along with their brethren the sons of Aaron, before David the king and Zadok and Ahimelech, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, the ancestral chief along with his younger brethren.
Wɔnam ntonto kronkron a wɔbɔɔ wɔ wɔn so na wɔde wɔn nnwuma hyɛɛ wɔn nsa te sɛ Aaron asefoɔ deɛ no, a wɔanhwɛ mfeɛ a wɔadi ne wɔn diberɛ. Wɔdii dwuma no wɔ ɔhene Dawid, Sadok, Ahimelek, asɔfoɔ ne Lewifoɔ mmusua mpanimfoɔ no anim.
