1 Chronicles 24
1 Now, the sons of Aaron, had their courses, —the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar;
ஆரோனின் மகன்களின் பிரிவுகள் இவையே: ஆரோனின் மகன்கள்: நாதாப், அபியூ, எலெயாசார், இத்தாமார் ஆகியோர்.
2 but Nadab and Abihu, died, before their father, and sons, had they none, —but Eleazar and Ithamar became priests;
நாதாப்பும், அபியூவும் தங்கள் தகப்பன் இறப்பதற்கு முன்னே இறந்துவிட்டார்கள். அவர்களுக்கு மகன்கள் இருக்கவில்லை. அதனால் எலெயாசாரும் இத்தாமாரும் ஆசாரியர்களாகப் பணிபுரிந்தனர்.
3 and David apportioned to them courses, both to Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and to Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, —by their appointed place in their service.
எலெயாசாரின் வழித்தோன்றலான சாதோக்கின் உதவியுடனும், இத்தாமாரின் வழித்தோன்றலான அகிமெலேக்கின் உதவியுடனும் நியமிக்கப்பட்ட பணியைச் செய்வதற்கென, தாவீது அவர்களைப் பிரிவுகளாகப் பிரித்தான்.
4 But the sons of Eleazar were found to be more numerous, by the chiefs of their able men, than were the sons of Ithamar, so they divided them, —the sons of Eleazar, had chiefs, of the ancestral house, sixteen, whereas, the sons of Ithamar, had of their ancestral house, eight.
இத்தாமாரின் வழித்தோன்றலைவிட எலெயாசாரின் வழித்தோன்றலில் தலைவர்கள் அதிக எண்ணிக்கையில் இருந்தார்கள். அதற்கேற்ப எலெயாசாரின் சந்ததியிலிருந்து பதினாறுபேர் தங்கள் குடும்பத் தலைவர்களாகவும், இத்தாமாரின் சந்ததியிலிருந்து எட்டுபேர் குடும்பத் தலைவர்களாகவும் பிரிக்கப்பட்டனர்.
5 They divided them, therefore, by [casting] lots, these with those, —for there were princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, from among the sons of Eleazar, and among the sons of Ithamar.
எலெயாசாரின் சந்ததியிலும், இத்தாமாரின் சந்ததியிலும் பரிசுத்த இடத்து அலுவலர்களும், இறைவனுக்குப் பணிசெய்யும் அலுவலர்களும் இருந்தபடியால், அவர்களைப் பாரபட்சமின்றி சீட்டுப்போட்டுப் பிரித்தார்கள்.
6 And Shemaiah son of Nethanel the scribe from among the Levites, wrote them down, before the king and the rulers and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, —one ancestral house, was taken for Eleazar, and, was equally taken, for Ithamar.
லேவியனும் எழுத்தாளனுமான நெதனெயேலின் மகன் செமாயா அரசன், அதிகாரிகள், ஆசாரியன் சாதோக்கு, அபியத்தாரின் மகன் அகிமெலேக்கு, ஆசாரியர்கள் மற்றும் லேவியர்கள் குடும்பத் தலைவர்கள் ஆகியோர் முன்பாக அவர்களுடைய பெயர்களைப் பதிவுசெய்தான். எலெயாசாரின் குடும்பத்திலிருந்து ஒருவனும், இத்தாமாரின் குடும்பத்திலிருந்து ஒருவனுமாக சீட்டின் மூலம் மாறிமாறி தெரிவு செய்யப்பட்டனர்.
7 So then the first lot came forth for Jehoiarib, for Jedaiah, the second;

8 for Harim, the third, for Seorim, the fourth;
மூன்றாவது ஆரீமுக்கும், நான்காவது செயோரீமுக்கும் விழுந்தன.
9 for Malchijah, the fifth, for Mijamin, the sixth;
ஐந்தாவது சீட்டு மல்கியாவிற்கும், ஆறாவது மியாமீனுக்கும்,
10 for Hakkoz, the seventh, for Abijah, the eighth;
ஏழாவது அக்கோத்ஸிற்கும், எட்டாவது அபியாவிற்கும் விழுந்தன.
11 for Jeshua, the ninth, for Shecaniah, the tenth;
ஒன்பதாவது சீட்டு யெசுவாவிற்கும், பத்தாவது செக்கனியாவிற்கும் விழுந்தன.
12 for Eliashib, the eleventh, for Jakim, the twelfth;
பதினோராவது எலியாசீபிற்கும், பன்னிரண்டாவது யாக்கீமினுக்கும்,
13 for Huppah, the thirteenth, for Jeshebeab, the fourteenth;
பதிமூன்றாவது சீட்டு உப்பாவிற்கும், பதினான்காவது எசெபெயாபிற்கும் விழுந்தன.
14 for Bilgah, the fifteenth, for Immer, the sixteenth;
பதினைந்தாவது சீட்டு பில்காவிற்கும், பதினாறாவது இம்மேருக்கும் விழுந்தன.
15 for Hezir, the seventeenth, for Happizzez, the eighteenth;
பதினேழாவது சீட்டு ஏசீரினுக்கும், பதினெட்டாவது அப்சேஸிற்கும் விழுந்தன.
16 for Pethahiah, the nineteenth, for Jehezkel, the twentieth;
பத்தொன்பதாவது சீட்டு பெத்தகியாவிற்கும், இருபதாவது எகெசெக்கியேலிற்கும் விழுந்தன.
17 for Jachin, the twenty-first, for Gamul, the twenty-second;
இருபத்தோராவது சீட்டு யாகினிற்கும், இருபத்திரெண்டாவது காமுலிற்கும் விழுந்தன.
18 for Delaiah, the twenty-third, for Maaziah, the twenty-fourth.
இருபத்துமூன்றாவது சீட்டு தெலாயாவிற்கும், இருபத்துநான்காவது மாசியாவிற்கும் விழுந்தன.
19 These, were their appointed places for their service, for entering the house of Yahweh, according to the regulation of them, by the hand of Aaron their father, —just as Yahweh God of Israel, commanded him.
யெகோவாவினுடைய ஆலயத்திற்குள் அவர்கள் போய், பணிசெய்வதற்கான ஒழுங்குமுறை இதுவே: இஸ்ரயேலின் இறைவனாகிய யெகோவா அவர்கள் முற்பிதாவான ஆரோனுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, பணிசெய்வதற்கென நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்கள்.
20 Now, as for the sons of Levi who remained, of the sons of Amram, Shubael, of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.
லேவியின் வழித்தோன்றலில் மிகுதியாயிருந்தோர் யாரெனில்: அம்ராமின் மகன்களில் சூபயேல், சூபயேலின் மகன்களில் எகேதியா,
21 Of Rehabiah, of the sons of Rehabiah, the chief Isshiah;
ரெகேபியாவின் மகன்களில் மூத்தவனான இஷியா,
22 of the Izharites, Shelomoth, —of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath;
இத்சாரியரில் செலெமோத்து, செலெமோத்தின் மகன்களில் யாகாத்,
23 and, the sons [of Hebron], Jeriah, —Amariah, the second, Jehaziel, the third, Jekameam, the fourth;
எப்ரோனின் மகன்களில் மூத்தவன் யெரியா, இரண்டாவது அமரியா, மூன்றாவது யாகாசியேல், நான்காவது எக்காமியாம்,
24 the sons of Uzziel, Micah, of the sons of Micah, Shamir;
ஊசியேலின் மகன்களில் மீகா, மீகாவின் மகன்களில் சாமீர்,
25 the brother of Micah, Isshiah, of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.
மீகாவின் சகோதரன் இஷியா, இஷியாவின் மகன்களில் சகரியா,
26 The sons of Merari, Mahli and Mushi, —the sons of Jaaziah, Beno;
மெராரியின் மகன்களில் மகேலி, மூஷி என்பவர்கள் ஆவர். யாசியாவின் மகன் பேனோவா,
27 the sons of Merari, of Jaaziah, Beno, and Shoham and Zaccur and Ibri:
மெராரியின் மகன்களில் யாசியாவின் மகன்களிலிருந்து பேனோ, சோகாம், சக்கூர், இப்ரி என்பவர்கள்.
28 of Mahli, Eleazar, who had no sons;
மகேலியின் மகன்களில் எலெயாசார், இவனுக்கு மகன்கள் இருக்கவில்லை.
29 of Kish—the sons of Kish, Jerameel;
கீஸின் மகன்களில் யெராமியேல்,
30 and, the sons of Mushi, Mahli and Eder and Jerimoth. These, were the sons of the Levites, belonging to their ancestral house.
மூஷியின் மகன்களில் மகேலி, ஏதேர், எரிமோத் என்பவர்கள் ஆவர். இவர்களும் தங்களுடைய குடும்பங்களின்படியே லேவியர்கள் ஆவர்.
31 Moreover, they also, cast lots along with their brethren the sons of Aaron, before David the king and Zadok and Ahimelech, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, the ancestral chief along with his younger brethren.
இவர்களும் ஆரோனின் சந்ததிகளான தங்கள் சகோதரர் செய்ததுபோல, அரசன் தாவீது முன்பும், சாதோக்குக்கும், அகிமெலேக்குக்கும், ஆசாரியர்களின் குடும்பத் தலைவர்களுக்கும், லேவியருக்கும் முன்பாகத் தங்கள் பணிகளுக்காக சீட்டுப்போட்டார்கள். மூத்த சகோதரனின் குடும்பங்களும், இளைய சகோதரனின் குடும்பங்களும் ஒரேவிதமாக நடத்தப்பட்டன.
