1 Chronicles 16
1 So they brought in the ark of God, and placed it in the midst of the tent, which David had pitched for it, —and they brought near ascending-sacrifices and peace-offerings, before God.
१त्यांनी देवाचा कोश दावीदाने उभारलेल्या तंबूमध्ये आत आणून ठेवला. मग त्यांनी देवापुढे होमार्पणे आणि शांत्यर्पणे अर्पिली.
2 And, when David had made an end of offering the ascending-sacrifices, and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people, in the name of Yahweh.
२मग होमार्पणे आणि शांत्यर्पणे अर्पिण्याचे समाप्त केल्यावर दावीदाने परमेश्वराच्या नावाने लोकांस आशीर्वाद दिला.
3 And he apportioned, to every one of Israel, both man and woman, —to every one, a loaf of bread, and a sweet drink, and a raisin cake.
३मग त्याने इस्राएलातील प्रत्येक स्त्री-पुरुषाला एकएक भाकर, एक मांसाचा तुकडा आणि खिसमिसांची एकएक ढेप वाटून दिली.
4 And he placed before the ark of Yahweh certain of the Levites, as attendants, —and to celebrate, and to give thanks and render praise, unto Yahweh, God of Israel;
४मग दावीदाने काही लेवींची परमेश्वराच्या कोशापुढे सेवा करण्यास आणि इस्राएलाचा देव परमेश्वर याचे गुणगान गाणे, त्याचे आभार मानणे, स्तुती करणे हे त्यांचे काम नेमून दिले.
5 Asaph the chief, and, second to him, Zechariah, —Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of harps, and with lyres, and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud:
५आसाफ हा पहिल्या गटाचा मुख्य होता. त्याचा गट झांज वाजवीत असे. जखऱ्या दुसऱ्या गटाचा प्रमुख होता. इतर लेवी उज्जियेल, शमीरामोथ, यहीएल, मत्तिथ्या, अलीयाब, बनाया, ओबेद-अदोम, आणि ईयेल. हे सतारी आणि वीणा वाजवत असत.
6 and Benaiah and Jahaziel, the priests, —with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.
६बनाया आणि याहजिएल हे याजक नेहमी देवाच्या कराराच्या कोशापुढे कर्णे वाजवत असत.
7 On that day, then, David gave [these songs] in chief, to give thanks unto Yahweh, —through Asaph, and his brethren: —
७तेव्हा त्यादिवशी पहिल्याने दावीदाने आसाफाला आणि त्याच्या भावांना परमेश्वराची उपकारस्तुती करायला हे गीत गाण्यास दिले.
8 Give ye thanks to Yahweh, Call upon his name, Make known among the peoples, his doings;
८परमेश्वराचे स्तवन करा. त्याच्या नावाने हाक मारा. राष्ट्रांस त्याची कृत्ये कळवा.
9 Sing ye to him, Make music unto him, Speak ye of all his wonders.
९त्याचे गायन करा, त्याचे स्तुतीगान करा. त्याच्या सर्व आश्र्चर्यकारक कृत्यांविषयी बोला.
10 Boast yourselves in his holy name, Joyful be the heart of them who are seeking Yahweh.
१०त्याच्या पवित्र नावाचा अभिमान धरा. जे परमेश्वरास शोधतात त्यांचे अंतःकरण आनंदीत होवो.
11 Search out Yahweh, and his power, Seek diligently his face, at all times.
११परमेश्वरास व त्याच्या सामर्थ्याला शोधा. निरंतर त्याच्या समक्षतेचा शोध करा.
12 Remember his wonders which he hath done, His splendid deeds, and the just decisions of his mouth.
१२त्याने केलेल्या आश्र्चर्यकारक कृत्यांची आठवण करा. त्याच्या तोंडचे न्याय आणि चमत्काराची कृत्ये यांचे स्मरण करा.
13 O ye seed of Israel his servant, sons of Jacob his chosen ones:
१३त्याचा सेवक इस्राएल याचे वंशजहो, त्याने निवडलेल्या, याकोबाच्या लोकांनो,
14 Yahweh himself, is our God, through all the land, are his just decisions.
१४तो परमेश्वर, आमचा देव आहे. त्याचे न्याय सर्व पृथ्वीवर आहेत.
15 Remember yea to times age-abiding, his covenant, the word he hath commanded, to a thousand generations;
१५त्याच्या कराराचे सर्वकाळ स्मरण करा. त्याने हजारो पिढ्यांस आज्ञापिलेले त्याचे वचन आठवा.
16 Which he solemnised with Abraham, and his oath, to Isaac;
१६त्याने अब्राहामाशी केलेल्या कराराची आठवण ठेवा. आणि त्याने इसहाकाशी आपली शपथ वाहिली.
17 And confirmed it, unto Jacob, for a statute, unto Israel, as a covenant age-abiding:
१७याकोबासाठी त्याने तोच नियम केला. आणि इस्राएलाशी सर्वकाळचा करार केला.
18 Saying, To thee, will I give the land of Canaan, as your inherited portion:
१८तो म्हणाला, “मी तुला कनान देश तुमच्या वतनाचा वाटा असा देईन.”
19 While, as yet, ye were men who could be counted, a very few, and sojourners therein:
१९मी हे म्हणालो त्यावेळी तुम्ही संख्येने अगदी थोडे होता, फार थोडके होता, परक्या प्रदेशात उपरे असे होता.
20 And they wandered from nation to nation, and from one kingdom, to another people:
२०तुम्ही एका राष्ट्रातून दुसऱ्या राष्ट्रात भटकत होता. एका राज्यातून दुसऱ्यात जात होता.
21 He suffered no man to oppress them, And reproved—for their sakes—kings!
२१पण त्याने कोणाकडूनही त्यांना दु: ख होऊ दिले नाही. त्याने त्यांच्यासाठी राजांना शिक्षा दिली.
22 Ye may not touch mine Anointed ones, And, to my Prophets, may ye do no wrong.
२२तो राजांना म्हणाला, “माझ्या अभिषिक्तांना स्पर्श करू नका. माझ्या संदेष्ट्यांना इजा करू नका.”
23 Sing to Yahweh, all the earth, Tell the tidings, from day to day, of his salvation:
२३पृथ्वीवरील समस्त लोकहो, परमेश्वराचे स्तवन करा. त्याचे तारण दिवसेंदिवस सर्वांना सांगा.
24 Recount, among the nations, his glory, among all the peoples, his wonders.
२४त्याच्या गौरवाची कृत्ये सर्व राष्ट्रांना कळवा सर्व राष्ट्राला त्याच्या आश्चर्यकारक कृत्ये जाहीर सांगा.
25 For great is Yahweh, and worthy to be mightily praised, and to be revered is he above all gods;
२५परमेश्वर थोर व परमस्तुत्य आहे. आणि सर्व दैवतांपेक्षा त्याचेच भय धरणे योग्य आहे.
26 For, all the gods of the peoples, are things of nought, but, Yahweh, made, the heavens.
२६कारण सर्व राष्ट्रांतले सगळी दैवते म्हणजे नुसत्या मूर्ती आहेत. पण परमेश्वराने आकाश निर्माण केले.
27 Praise and majesty, are before him, Strength and joy, are in his dwelling-place.
२७महिमा आणि प्रताप त्याच्यापुढे आहेत. सामर्थ्य आणि आनंद त्याच्या स्थानी आहेत.
28 Give to Yahweh, ye families of the peoples, Give to Yahweh, glory and strength:
२८अहो लोकांच्या कुळांनो परमेश्वराच्या महिम्याची आणि सामर्थ्याची स्तुती करा.
29 Give to Yahweh, the glory of his name, —Bring ye a present, and enter before him, Bow down to Yahweh, in the adornment of holiness:
२९परमेश्वरास त्याच्या नावाचे योग्य ते गौरव द्या. त्याच्यापुढे आपली अर्पणे आणा. पावित्र्यानेयुक्त होऊन परमेश्वराची आराधना करा.
30 Tremble at his presence, all the earth, But the world, shall be established, it shall not be shaken.
३०त्याच्यासमोर सर्व पृथ्वीचा भीतीने थरकाप होतो पण त्याने पृथ्वीला स्थिर स्थापले आहे. ते हलवता येणार नाही.
31 Let the heavens rejoice, and the earth exult, Let them say among the nations, Yahweh, hath become king!
३१पृथ्वी उल्हासित होवो आणि आकाश आनंदित होवो; राष्ट्रामधल्या लोकांस सांगा की, “परमेश्वर राज्य करतो.”
32 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof, Let the field leap for joy, and all that is therein:
३२समुद्र आणि त्यातले सर्वकाही आनंदाने गर्जना करो शेत व त्यातील सर्वकाही उत्सव करोत.
33 Then, shall shout in triumph, the trees of the forest, before Yahweh, for he is coming, to judge the earth.
३३अरण्यातील वृक्ष परमेश्वरासमोर हर्षभरित होऊन गातील कारण साक्षात तोच पृथ्वीचा न्याय करायला आला आहे.
34 Give ye thanks unto Yahweh, For he is good, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness.
३४परमेश्वराचे उपकारस्मरण करा, कारण तो चांगला आहे. कारण त्याची दया सर्वकाळ टिकणारी आहे.
35 And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us and deliver us, from among the nations, —that we may give thanks unto thy holy name, that we may triumph aloud in thy praise.
३५आणि म्हणा, “हे आमच्या तारणाऱ्या देवा, आम्हास तार. आम्हास एकत्र करून इतर राष्ट्रापासून सोडीव. आणि तुझ्या पवित्र नावाची उपकारस्तुती करावी आणि तुझ्या स्तुतीने विजयी व्हावे.”
36 Blessed be Yahweh, God of Israel, from one age even to another age. Then said all the people, Amen, And gave praise to Yahweh.
३६इस्राएलाचा देव परमेश्वर अनादी काळापासून अनंतकाळापर्यंत धन्यवादित असो. सर्व लोकांनी “आमेन” म्हणून परमेश्वराचे स्तवन केले.
37 So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, Asaph and his brethren, —to be in attendance before the ark continually, for the duty of a day on its day;
३७मग आसाफ आणि त्याचे भाऊ यांनी कोशापुढे दररोजच्या कामाप्रमाणे नित्य सेवा करावी म्हणून दावीदाने त्यांना परमेश्वराच्या कराराच्या कोशासमोर ठेवले.
38 and Obed-edom with his brethren, sixty-eight, —and Obed-edom son of Jedithun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;
३८त्या कामात त्यांना मदत करण्यासाठी दावीदाने ओबेद-अदोम यांच्याबरोबर अडुसष्ट नातेवाईकांना त्यामध्ये समाविष्ट केले. यदूथूनाचा पुत्र ओबेद-अदोम, ह्याना होसासोबत, द्वारपाल केले होते.
39 and Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the habitation of Yahweh, —in the high place that was in Gibeon:
३९सादोक याजक आणि त्याच्याबरोबरचे इतर याजक यांनी गिबोन येथील उच्चस्थानी असलेल्या परमेश्वराच्या निवासमंडपासमोर सेवा करण्यास नेमले.
40 to offer ascending-sacrifices unto Yahweh, upon the altar of ascending-sacrifice, —continually, morning and evening, —even according to all that is written in the law of Yahweh, which he commanded concerning Israel;
४०ते दररोज सकाळी आणि संध्याकाळी होमार्पणासाठी असलेल्या वेदीवर परमेश्वरास होमार्पणे करत असत. परमेश्वराच्या नियमशास्त्रात जे लिहिले आहे, त्याने इस्राएलांस आज्ञा केल्याप्रमाणे ते सर्व करावे म्हणून त्यांना नेमले होते.
41 and, with them, Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest of the chosen ones, who were distinguished by name, —to give thanks unto Yahweh, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness!
४१आणि त्यांच्याबरोबर हेमान, यदूथून व बाकीचे नावे घेऊन निवडलेल्यांनी परमेश्वराची उपकारस्तुती करावी, कारण त्याची दया सर्वकाळ टिकणारी आहे.
42 And, with them, Heman and Jeduthun, [with] the trumpets, and the cymbals, for sounding aloud, and the instruments for the songs of God, —and the sons of Jeduthun, for the gate.
४२हेमान आणि यदूथून यांना झांजा वाजवणे, कर्णे फुंकणे व देवासाठी इतर वाद्यांवर संगीत वाजवणे यांचे ते प्रमुख होते. यदूथूनाचे पुत्र द्वाररक्षक होते.
43 And all the people departed, every man to his house, —and David went round, to bless his own household.
४३नंतर सर्व लोक आपल्या घरी परत गेले आणि दावीदही आपल्या घरास आशीर्वाद देण्यासाठी परत गेला.
