1 Chronicles 16
1 So they brought in the ark of God, and placed it in the midst of the tent, which David had pitched for it, —and they brought near ascending-sacrifices and peace-offerings, before God.
૧તેઓએ ઈશ્વરના કોશને અંદર લાવીને, તેને માટે દાઉદે બાંધેલા મંડપની વચ્ચે તેને મૂક્યો. તેઓએ ઈશ્વરની આગળ દહનીયાર્પણો તથા શાંત્યર્પણો ચઢાવ્યાં.
2 And, when David had made an end of offering the ascending-sacrifices, and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people, in the name of Yahweh.
૨જયારે દાઉદ દહનીયાર્પણો તથા શાંત્યર્પણો ચઢાવી રહ્યો, ત્યારે તેણે યહોવાહને નામે લોકોને આશીર્વાદ આપ્યો.
3 And he apportioned, to every one of Israel, both man and woman, —to every one, a loaf of bread, and a sweet drink, and a raisin cake.
૩તેણે ઇઝરાયલના દરેક પુરુષ તથા સ્ત્રીને, એક એક ભાખરી, માંસનો કટકો તથા સૂકી દ્રાક્ષનો એકેક ઝૂમખો વહેંચી આપ્યો.
4 And he placed before the ark of Yahweh certain of the Levites, as attendants, —and to celebrate, and to give thanks and render praise, unto Yahweh, God of Israel;
૪યહોવાહના કોશની આગળ સેવા કરવા તથા ઇઝરાયલના ઈશ્વર યહોવાહનાં ગીત ગાવા, આભાર માનવા, સ્તુતિ કરવા તથા તેમની સંમુખ ઉજવણી કરવા માટે દાઉદે કેટલાક લેવીઓને નીમ્યા.
5 Asaph the chief, and, second to him, Zechariah, —Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of harps, and with lyres, and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud:
૫આસાફ આગેવાન હતો. તેનાથી ઊતરતે દરજ્જે ઝખાર્યા, યઝીએલ, શમિરામોથ, યહીએલ, માત્તિથ્યા, અલિયાબ, બનાયા, ઓબેદ-અદોમ તથા યેઈએલ હતા. તેઓ સિતાર અને વીણા વગાડતા હતા. આસાફ મોટેથી ઝાંઝ વગાડતો હતો.
6 and Benaiah and Jahaziel, the priests, —with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.
૬બનાયા તથા યાહઝીએલ યાજકો ઈશ્વરના કરારકોશની આગળ નિયમિત રણશિંગડાં વગાડતા હતા.
7 On that day, then, David gave [these songs] in chief, to give thanks unto Yahweh, —through Asaph, and his brethren: —
૭પછી તે દિવસે દાઉદે આસાફ તથા તેના ભાઈઓની મારફતે યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ માટે નીમ્યા.
8 Give ye thanks to Yahweh, Call upon his name, Make known among the peoples, his doings;
૮ઈશ્વરનો આભાર માનો, તેમના નામે પ્રાર્થના કરો; લોકોમાં તેમના અદ્દભુત કાર્યો જાહેર કરો.
9 Sing ye to him, Make music unto him, Speak ye of all his wonders.
૯તેમના ગુણગાન ગાઓ, તેમનાં સ્તુતિગાન કરો; તેમનાં સર્વ અદ્દભુત કાર્યોનું મનન કરો.
10 Boast yourselves in his holy name, Joyful be the heart of them who are seeking Yahweh.
૧૦તમે તેમના પવિત્ર નામનું ગૌરવ જાળવો; યહોવાહના ભક્તોનાં હૃદયો આનંદમાં રહો.
11 Search out Yahweh, and his power, Seek diligently his face, at all times.
૧૧યહોવાહને તથા તેમના સામર્થ્યને તમે શોધો; સદાસર્વદા તેમના મુખને શોધો.
12 Remember his wonders which he hath done, His splendid deeds, and the just decisions of his mouth.
૧૨જે અદ્દભુત કામો તેમણે કર્યાં છે તે યાદ રાખો, તેમના ચમત્કારો તથા તેમના મુખનાં ન્યાયવચનો યાદ રાખો.
13 O ye seed of Israel his servant, sons of Jacob his chosen ones:
૧૩તમે ઈશ્વરના સેવક ઇઝરાયલના વંશજો છો, તમે યાકૂબના લોકો, તેમના પસંદ કરેલા છો.
14 Yahweh himself, is our God, through all the land, are his just decisions.
૧૪તે આપણા ઈશ્વર, યહોવાહ છે. તેમની સત્તા સમગ્ર પૃથ્વી પર છે.
15 Remember yea to times age-abiding, his covenant, the word he hath commanded, to a thousand generations;
૧૫તેમના કરાર તમે સદાકાળ યાદ રાખો, એટલે હજારો પેઢીઓ સુધી કાયમ રાખવાનું જે વચન તેમણે આપ્યું, તે યાદ રાખો.
16 Which he solemnised with Abraham, and his oath, to Isaac;
૧૬ઇબ્રાહિમની સાથે જે કરાર તેમણે કર્યો અને ઇસહાકની સાથે જે પ્રતિજ્ઞા તેમણે કરી.
17 And confirmed it, unto Jacob, for a statute, unto Israel, as a covenant age-abiding:
૧૭એ જ વચન યાકૂબને માટે નિયમ તરીકે અને ઇઝરાયલને માટે સદાકાળના કરાર તરીકે રહેશે.
18 Saying, To thee, will I give the land of Canaan, as your inherited portion:
૧૮તેમણે કહ્યું, “હું તને આ કનાન દેશ આપીશ, તે તારા વારસાનો ભાગ થશે.”
19 While, as yet, ye were men who could be counted, a very few, and sojourners therein:
૧૯જયારે મેં આ કહ્યું ત્યારે તમે સંખ્યામાં થોડા જ હતા, તદ્દન થોડા જ અને તમે અજાણ્યા હતા.
20 And they wandered from nation to nation, and from one kingdom, to another people:
૨૦તેઓ એક દેશથી બીજે દેશ અને એક રાજ્યમાંથી બીજા રાજ્યમાં ભટક્યા કરતા હતા.
21 He suffered no man to oppress them, And reproved—for their sakes—kings!
૨૧ત્યારે ઈશ્વરે તેઓ પર કોઈને જુલમ કરવા દીધો નહિ; તેઓને લીધે તેમણે રાજાઓને શિક્ષા કરી.
22 Ye may not touch mine Anointed ones, And, to my Prophets, may ye do no wrong.
૨૨તેમણે કહ્યું, “મારા અભિષિક્તોને અડશો નહિ અને મારા પ્રબોધકોને નુકસાન પહોંચાડશો નહિ.”
23 Sing to Yahweh, all the earth, Tell the tidings, from day to day, of his salvation:
૨૩હે આખી પૃથ્વીના લોકો, યહોવાહના ગુણગાન કરો; દિનપ્રતિદિન તેમના તારણને જાહેર કરો.
24 Recount, among the nations, his glory, among all the peoples, his wonders.
૨૪રાષ્ટ્રોમાં તેમનો મહિમા પ્રગટ કરો. સર્વ દેશજાતિઓમાં તેમનાં અદ્દ્ભુત કાર્યો જાહેર કરો.
25 For great is Yahweh, and worthy to be mightily praised, and to be revered is he above all gods;
૨૫કેમ કે યહોવાહ મહાન છે તથા અતિ વિશેષ સ્તુતિપાત્ર છે, અને બીજા દેવો કરતાં તેઓનું ભય રાખવું યોગ્ય છે.
26 For, all the gods of the peoples, are things of nought, but, Yahweh, made, the heavens.
૨૬કેમ કે લોકોના સર્વ દેવો મૂર્તિઓ જ છે, પણ યહોવાહે તો આકાશો બનાવ્યાં છે.
27 Praise and majesty, are before him, Strength and joy, are in his dwelling-place.
૨૭તેમની સંમુખ ગૌરવ તથા મહિમા છે. તેમના ભક્તિસ્થાનમાં સામર્થ્ય તથા આનંદ છે.
28 Give to Yahweh, ye families of the peoples, Give to Yahweh, glory and strength:
૨૮હે લોકોનાં કુળો, તમે યહોવાહને, હા, યહોવાહને જ, ગૌરવ તથા સામર્થ્યનું માન આપો.
29 Give to Yahweh, the glory of his name, —Bring ye a present, and enter before him, Bow down to Yahweh, in the adornment of holiness:
૨૯યહોવાહના નામને ઘટિત ગૌરવ આપો. અર્પણ લઈને તેમની હજૂરમાં આવો. પવિત્ર વસ્ત્રો ધારણ કરીને યહોવાહની આગળ નમો.
30 Tremble at his presence, all the earth, But the world, shall be established, it shall not be shaken.
૩૦સમગ્ર પૃથ્વી તેમની સમક્ષ ધ્રૂજે. જગત પણ એવી રીતે સ્થપાયેલું છે કે, તેને હલાવી શકાય તેમ નથી.
31 Let the heavens rejoice, and the earth exult, Let them say among the nations, Yahweh, hath become king!
૩૧આકાશો આનંદ કરે તથા પૃથ્વી હરખાય; વિદેશીઓ મધ્યે એવું કહેવાય કે, “યહોવાહ રાજ કરે છે.”
32 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof, Let the field leap for joy, and all that is therein:
૩૨સમુદ્ર તથા તેમા જે છે તે ગર્જના કરે છે. ખેતરો તથા તેઓમાં જે છે, તે સર્વ ઉત્સાહ કરે છે.
33 Then, shall shout in triumph, the trees of the forest, before Yahweh, for he is coming, to judge the earth.
૩૩પછી જંગલનાં વૃક્ષો યહોવાહની આગળ હર્ષનાદ કરશે, કેમ કે તેઓ પૃથ્વીના લોકોનો ન્યાય કરવા આવે છે.
34 Give ye thanks unto Yahweh, For he is good, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness.
૩૪યહોવાહનો આભાર માનો, કેમ કે તેઓ કૃપાળુ છે, કેમ કે તેમનું વિશ્વાસુપણું સદાકાળ રહે છે.
35 And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us and deliver us, from among the nations, —that we may give thanks unto thy holy name, that we may triumph aloud in thy praise.
૩૫બોલો, “હે અમારા ઉદ્ધારનાર ઈશ્વર અમારો ઉદ્ધાર કરો. બીજી પ્રજાઓથી અમારી રક્ષા કરો અને અમને એકત્રિત કરો, કે જેથી અમે તમારા પવિત્ર નામનો આભાર માનીએ અને તમારી સ્તુતિ ગાઈએ.”
36 Blessed be Yahweh, God of Israel, from one age even to another age. Then said all the people, Amen, And gave praise to Yahweh.
૩૬ઇઝરાયલના ઈશ્વર, યહોવાહ અનાદિકાળથી તે અનંતકાળ માટે સ્તુત્ય થાઓ. પછી સર્વ લોકોએ “આમીન” કહીને યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરી.
37 So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, Asaph and his brethren, —to be in attendance before the ark continually, for the duty of a day on its day;
૩૭ત્યાર પછી દાઉદે ત્યાં યહોવાહના કરારકોશની સેવા કરવા માટે આસાફની તથા તેના ભાઈઓની, કોશની આગળ રોજના કામની જરૂરિયાત પ્રમાણે નિત્ય સેવા માટે નિમણૂક કરી.
38 and Obed-edom with his brethren, sixty-eight, —and Obed-edom son of Jedithun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;
૩૮તેમ જ યદૂથૂનનો પુત્ર ઓબેદ-અદોમ તથા હોસા અને તેઓના અડસઠ સંબંધીઓને દ્વારપાળો તરીકે નીમ્યા.
39 and Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the habitation of Yahweh, —in the high place that was in Gibeon:
૩૯સાદોક યાજકને તથા તેના સાથી યાજકોને ગિબ્યોનમાંના ઘર્મસ્થાનોમાં યહોવાહના મંડપની સેવા માટે પસંદ કર્યો.
40 to offer ascending-sacrifices unto Yahweh, upon the altar of ascending-sacrifice, —continually, morning and evening, —even according to all that is written in the law of Yahweh, which he commanded concerning Israel;
૪૦યહોવાહે, ઇઝરાયલને ફરમાવેલા નિયમશાસ્ત્રમાં જે સર્વ લખેલું છે, તે પ્રમાણે દરરોજ સવારે તથા સાંજે દહનીયાર્પણની વેદી પર યહોવાહને દહનીયાર્પણો ચઢાવવા માટે તેઓને નીમ્યા.
41 and, with them, Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest of the chosen ones, who were distinguished by name, —to give thanks unto Yahweh, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness!
૪૧તેઓની સાથે તેણે હેમાન તથા યદૂથૂન તથા બાકીના પસંદ કરેલા અન્યો કે જેઓ નામવાર નોંધાયેલા હતા, તેઓને યહોવાહ કે જેમની કરુણા સર્વકાળ સુધી ટકે છે તેમની આભારસ્તુતિ કરવા માટે નીમ્યા.
42 And, with them, Heman and Jeduthun, [with] the trumpets, and the cymbals, for sounding aloud, and the instruments for the songs of God, —and the sons of Jeduthun, for the gate.
૪૨હેમાન તથા યદૂથૂનને ગીતોને માટે રણશિંગડાં, ઝાંઝ તથા અન્ય વાજિંત્રો આપવામાં આવ્યાં. યદૂથૂનના પુત્રોને દ્વારપાળોનું કામ સોંપવામાં આવ્યું હતું.
43 And all the people departed, every man to his house, —and David went round, to bless his own household.
૪૩પછી સર્વ લોકો પાછા પોતપોતાને ઘરે ગયા અને દાઉદ પોતાના કુટુંબનાં માણસોને આશીર્વાદ આપવા માટે પોતાના મહેલમાં પાછો ગયો.
