1 Chronicles 12
1 Now these, are they who came unto David, to Ziklag, he yet being shut up, because of Saul son of Kish, —and, they, were among the heroes, helpers in the war;
੧ਇਹ ਉਹ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸਿਕਲਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਊਦ ਕੋਲ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਆ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਕੀਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਲੁੱਕਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਸਨ
2 armed with the bow, using right hand or left with stones, and with arrows in the bow, —of the brethren of Saul, out of Benjamin:
੨ਉਹ ਤੀਰ-ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਤੇ ਖੱਬੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਧਣੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਬਾਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨੀ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਨ
3 the chief, Ahiezer, and Joash, sons of Shemaah the Gibeathite, and Jeziel and Pelet, sons of Azmaveth, —and Beracah, and Jehu the Anathothite;
੩ਮੁਖੀਆ ਅਹੀਅਜ਼ਰ ਸੀ, ਫੇਰ ਯੋਆਸ਼ ਗਿਬਆਥੀ ਸ਼ਮਾਆਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਤੇ ਅਜ਼ਮਾਵਥ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਿਜ਼ੀਏਲ ਤੇ ਫਲਟ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਾਕਾਹ ਤੇ ਅੰਨਥੋਥੀ ਯੇਹੂ
4 and Ishmaiah, the Gibeonite, a hero among the thirty, and over the thirty, —and Jeremiah and Jahaziel, and Johanan, and Jozabad, the Gederathite;
੪ਅਤੇ ਗਿਬਓਨੀ ਯਿਸ਼ਮਅਯਾਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੀਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਤੇ ਯਹਜ਼ੀਏਲ ਤੇ ਯੋਹਾਨਾਨ ਤੇ ਗਦੇਰਾਥੀ ਯੋਜ਼ਾਬਾਦ
5 Eluzai and Jerimoth and Bealiah and Shemariah, and Shephatiah, the Haruphite;
੫ਅਲਊਜ਼ਈ ਤੇ ਯਰੀਮੋਥ ਤੇ ਬਅਲਯਾਹ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਮਰਯਾਹ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਫਟਯਾਹ ਹਰੁਫੀ
6 Elkanah and Isshiah, and Azarel, and Joezer and Jashobeam, the Korahites;
੬ਅਲਕਾਨਾਹ ਤੇ ਯਿੱਸ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਤੇ ਅਜ਼ਰਏਲ ਤੇ ਯੋਅਜ਼ਰ ਤੇ ਯਾਸ਼ਾਬਆਮ ਕਾਰਹੀ
7 and Joelah and Zebadiah, sons of Jeroham, of Gedor.
੭ਅਤੇ ਯੋਏਲਾਹ ਤੇ ਜ਼ਬਦਯਾਹ ਗਦੋਰ ਦੇ ਯਰੋਹਾਮ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ।
8 And, of the Gadites, there separated themselves unto David, to the stronghold towards the desert, heroes of valour, men of war, for battle, men that could handle shield and spear, —and, faces of lions, were their faces, and, like gazelles upon the mountains, were they, for swiftness:
੮ਗਾਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਕੁ ਮਹਾਂ ਬਲੀ ਸੂਰਮੇ, ਚੰਗੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਢਾਲ਼ ਤੇ ਬਰਛੇ ਦੀ ਵਿੱਦਿਆ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਰਗੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਬਤਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਿਰਨਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਤੇਜ ਦੌੜਦੇ ਸਨ, ਇਹ ਗਾਦੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਲੱਗ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਜਾੜ ਦੇ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੀ ਵੱਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ
9 Ezer, the chief, Obadiah, the second, —Eliab, the third;
੯ਏਜ਼ਰ ਮੁਖੀਆ, ਓਬਦਯਾਹ ਦੂਜਾ, ਅਲੀਆਬ ਤੀਜਾ
10 Mashmannah, the fourth, Jeremiah, the fifth;
੧੦ਮਿਸ਼ਮੰਨਾਹ ਚੌਥਾ, ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਪੰਜਵਾਂ
11 Attai, the sixth, Eliel the seventh;
੧੧ਅੱਤਈ ਛੇਵਾਂ, ਅਲੀਏਲ ਸੱਤਵਾਂ
12 Johanan, the eighth, Elzabad, the ninth;
੧੨ਯੋਹਾਨਾਨ ਅੱਠਵਾਂ, ਅਲਜ਼ਾਬਾਦ ਨੌਵਾਂ
13 Jeremiah, the tenth, Machbannai, the eleventh.
੧੩ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਦਸਵਾਂ, ਮਕਬੰਨਈ ਗਿਆਰਵਾਂ
14 These, were of the sons of Gad, chiefs of the host, —one to a hundred, the least, and, the greatest, to a thousand.
੧੪ਇਹ ਗਾਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀ ਸਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਾ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਸੌ ਜੁਆਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਜੁਆਨ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਸੀ
15 These, are they who passed over the Jordan, in the first month, when, it, was full, over all its banks, —and they put to flight all them of the vales, to the east and to the west.
੧੫ਇਹ ਉਹ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਪਾਰ ਉਤਰੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਢਿਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਚੜ੍ਹੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਘਾਟੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਅਤੇ ਪੱਛਮ ਵੱਲ ਭਜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
16 And there came, of the sons of Benjamin, and Judah, as far as the stronghold, unto David.
੧੬ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਕੁ ਲੋਕ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਊਦ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ।
17 And David went forth to meet them, and responded, and said to them, If, peaceably, ye are come unto me, to help me, I shall have towards you, a heart for unity, —but, if to betray me to mine adversaries, there being no violence in my hands, may the God of our fathers see and rebuke!
੧੭ਦਾਊਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਅੱਗੋਂ ਲੈਣ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੋਂ ਆਖਿਆ, ਜੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਸੁਭਾਅ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ ਹੋ, ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਰਹੇ, ਪਰ ਜੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਫੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਨੂੰ ਆਏ ਹੋ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਬੁਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ, ਤਾਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਵੱਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਰੇ, ਅਤੇ ਤਾੜਨਾ ਕਰੇ
18 Then, the spirit, clothed Amasai, chief of the thirty, Thine, O David, Yea, with, thee, O son of Jesse! Prosperity, prosperity to thee, And prosperity to thy helpers, For thy God, hath helped thee: So David accepted them, and set them among the chiefs of the band.
੧੮ਤਾਂ ਅਮਾਸਈ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸੂਬੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਸੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਬੋਲਿਆ, ਹੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਹੇ ਯੱਸੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਅਸੀਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਵੱਲ ਹਾਂ, ਸਲਾਮਤੀ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਮਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਹਾਇਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਮਤੀ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ! ਤਦ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਖ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
19 And, of Manasseh, there fell away unto David, when he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle, but they helped them not, —for the lords of the Philistines advisedly sent him away, saying, At the price of our heads, he might fall away to his master, Saul.
੧੯ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਵੀ ਅਨੇਕ ਲੋਕ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੀ ਵੱਲ ਆ ਕੇ ਮਿਲ ਗਏ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਆ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਝ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਿਆ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਲਾਹ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟਵਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਨਾਲ ਜਾ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ
20 When he went into Ziklag, there fell away unto him, of Manasseh, Adnah and Jozabad, and Jediael and Michael and Jozabad, and Elihu and Zillethai, —chiefs of the thousands that pertained to Manasseh;
੨੦ਤਾਂ ਸਿਕਲਗ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰ ਗਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਮਨੱਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਦਨਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਜ਼ਾਬਾਦ, ਅਤੇ ਯਦੀਏਲ, ਅਤੇ ਮੀਕਾਏਲ, ਅਤੇ ਯੋਜ਼ਾਬਾਦ, ਅਤੇ ਅਲੀਹੂ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਲਥਈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀਏ ਸਨ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵੱਲ ਆ ਕੇ ਮਿਲ ਗਏ
21 and, they, helped with David, against the [marauding] band, for, heroes of valour, were they all, —and they became captains in the host;
੨੧ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸੱਭੇ ਮਹਾਂ ਬਲੀ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਤੇ ਸੈਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸਨ
22 for, from day to day, there came unto David, to help him, —until it was a great camp, like a camp of God.
੨੨ਅਤੇ ਦਿਨੋਂ-ਦਿਨ ਲੋਕ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਲਦੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ, ਇਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸੈਨਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਵੱਡੀ ਬਣ ਗਈ।
23 And, these, are the numbers of the chiefs armed for war, they came unto David, to Hebron, —to turn round the kingdom of Saul unto him, according to the bidding of Yahweh:
੨੩ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁਖੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਸਤਰ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਊਦ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਗਏ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵੱਲ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆਉਣ।
24 Sons of Judah, bearers of shield and spear, six thousand and eight hundred, armed for war.
੨੪ਯਹੂਦੀ ਛੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਸਨ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਢਾਲਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਬਰਛੇ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਲੱਕ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਖਲੋਤੇ ਸਨ
25 Of sons of Simeon, heroes of valour for the war, seven thousand, and one hundred.
੨੫ਸ਼ਿਮਓਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੱਤ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਮਹਾਂ ਯੋਧੇ ਸਨ
26 Of the sons of Levi, four thousand, and six hundred.
੨੬ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚਾਰ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਛੇ ਸੌ ਸਨ।
27 And Jehoiada, was chief ruler for Aaron, —and, with him, three thousand and seven hundred;
੨੭ਯਹੋਯਾਦਾ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦਾ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਤਿੰਨ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸੱਤ ਸੌ ਜੁਆਨ ਸਨ
28 and Zadok, a young man, a hero of valour, —and the house of his father, captains twenty and two.
੨੮ਅਤੇ ਸਾਦੋਕ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਾਂ ਬਲੀ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵੱਡ-ਵਡੇਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਲ ਦੇ ਬਾਈ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸਨ
29 And, of the sons of Benjamin, brethren of Saul, three thousand, —and, hitherto, the greater part of them, had been keeping the charge of the house of Saul.
੨੯ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਕੁਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ, ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਵੀ ਇਸੇ ਕੁਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦੀ ਕੁਲ ਦੇ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰ ਸਨ
30 And, of the sons of Ephraim, twenty thousand, and eight hundred, —heroes of valour, men of renown, to their ancestral house.
੩੦ਅਤੇ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਵੀਹ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਸੂਰਬੀਰ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਸਨ
31 And, of the half tribe of Manasseh, eighteen thousand, who were distinguished by name, coming in to make David king.
੩੧ਅਤੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਧੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਠਾਰਾਂ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਚੁਣ-ਚੁਣ ਕੇ ਸੱਦੇ ਗਏ, ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ
32 And, of the sons of Issachar, such as were of good understanding of the times, to know what Israel, should do, their chiefs, were two hundred, and, all their brethren, were at their bidding.
੩੨ਅਤੇ ਯਿੱਸਾਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਚਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀਏ ਦੋ ਸੌ ਸਨ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਰਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ
33 Of Zebulun—such as were ready to go forth in host, expert for battle with all weapons of war, fifty thousand, —and for setting in array, not of two minds!
੩੩ਜ਼ਬੂਲੁਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਰਣ ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਲਾਂ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਸ਼ਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਹਿਰ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਪੰਜਾਹ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਲਾਂ ਬਣਾਉਣੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਚਿੱਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ
34 And, of Naphtali, a thousand captains, —and, with them, with shield and spear, thirty-seven thousand.
੩੪ਅਤੇ ਨਫ਼ਤਾਲੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਰਦਾਰ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਸੈਂਤੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਢਾਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਛੇ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਨ
35 And, of the Danite, expert for war, twenty-eight thousand, and six hundred.
੩੫ਅਤੇ ਦਾਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਠਾਈ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਛੇ ਸੌ ਸਨ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਲਾਂ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਨ
36 And, of Asher, such as were ready to go forth in host to set in array for battle, forty thousand.
੩੬ਆਸ਼ੇਰ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚਾਲ੍ਹੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਦਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਲਾਂ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਨ
37 And, from over the Jordan, of the Reubenites and Gadites and half tribe of Manasseh, with all manner of weapons of war for battle, a hundred and twenty thousand.
੩੭ਅਤੇ ਯਰਦਨ ਦੇ ਪਾਰ ਦੇ ਰਊਬੇਨੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਗਾਦੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਧੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਲੱਖ ਵੀਹ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ, ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਸਤਰ ਧਾਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ
38 All these, being men of war, expert in setting in battle-array, with a perfect heart, came to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel, —moreover also, all the rest of Israel, were of one heart to make David king.
੩੮ਇਹ ਸੱਭੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਲਾਂ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਣ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ, ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਮਨ ਨਾਲ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ, ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣਾਉਣ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਨ ਹੋ ਗਏ
39 So they were there, with David, three days, eating and drinking, —for their brethren had made preparation for them.
੩੯ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨਾਲ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਖਾਂਦੇ-ਪੀਂਦੇ ਰਹੇ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ
40 Moreover also, they who were near of kin unto them, as far as Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali, were bringing bread, on asses and on camels and on mules and on oxen, meal-food, cakes of figs and cakes of raisins, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep—in abundance, —for there was joy Israel.
੪੦ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਉਹ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਿੱਸਾਕਾਰ, ਜ਼ਬੂਲੁਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਫ਼ਤਾਲੀ ਤੱਕ ਵੀ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਵੀ ਗਧਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ, ਊਠਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ, ਖੱਚਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਲ਼ਦਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੱਦ ਕੇ ਰੋਟੀਆਂ, ਆਟਾ, ਅੰਜੀਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਿੰਨੀਆਂ, ਕਿਸ਼ਮਿਸ਼ ਦੇ ਗੁੱਛੇ, ਦਾਖ਼ਰਸ, ਤੇਲ, ਬਲ਼ਦ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਬਹੁਤਾਇਤ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਆਏ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਇਆ।
