4 Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
Noé, Sem, Cam, e Jafé.
5 The sons of Japheth, Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech and Tiras.
Os filhos de Jafé foram: Gômer, Magogue, Dadai, Javã, Tubal, Meseque, e Tiras.
6 And, the sons of Gomer, Ashkenaz, and Diphath, and Togarmah.
Os filhos de Gômer: Asquenaz, Rifate, e Togarma.
7 And, the sons of Javan, Elishah, and Tarshish, —Kittim, and Rodanim.
Os filhos de Javã: Elisá, Társis, Quitim, e Dodanim.
8 The sons of Ham, Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
Os filhos de Cam: Cuxe, Misraim, Pute, e Canaã.
9 And, the sons of Cush, Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabteca. And, the sons of Raamah, Sheba, and Dedan.
Os filhos de Cuxe: Sebá, Havilá, Sabtá, Raamá, e Sabtecá. E os filhos de Raamá foram: Sebá e Dedã.
10 And, Cush, begat Nimrod, —he, began to be a mighty one in the earth.
E Cuxe gerou a Ninrode: este começou a ser poderoso na terra.
11 And, Mizraim, begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
Misraim gerou aos ludeus, aos ananeus, aos leabeus, aos leabeus, aos naftueus,
12 and Pathrusim, and Casluhim—whence went forth the Philistines, and Caphtorim.
Aos patrusitas, e aos casluítas (destes saíram os Filisteus), e os caftoreus.
13 And, Canaan, begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth;
E Canaã gerou a Sidom, seu primogênito; e a Hete;
14 and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite;
E aos jebuseus, aos amorreus, aos girgaseus;
15 and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite;
Aos heveus, aos arqueus, ao sineus;
16 and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
Aos arvadeus, aos zemareus, e aos hamateus.
17 The sons of Shem, Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, —and Uz, and Hul, and Gethur, and Meshech.
Os filhos de Sem foram: Elão, Assur, Arfaxade, Lude, Arã, Uz, Hul, Geter, e Meseque.
18 And, Arpachshad, begat Shelah, —and, Shelah, begat Eber.
Arfaxade gerou a Selá, e Selá gerou a Héber.
19 And, unto Eber, were born two sons, —the name of the one, was Peleg, for, in his days, was the earth divided, and, the name of his brother, was Joktan.
E a Héber nasceram dois filhos: o nome do um foi Pelegue, pois em seus dias a terra foi dividida; e o nome de seu irmão foi Joctã.
20 And, Joktan, begat Almodad, and Sheleph, —and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah;
E Joctã gerou a Almodá, Salefe, Hazarmavé, e Jerá,
21 and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah;
E a Adorão, Uzal, Dicla,
22 and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba;
Ebal, Abimael, Sebá,
23 and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these, were the sons of Joktan.
Ofir, Havilá, e a Jobabe: todos filhos de Joctã.
24 Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah;
Sem, Arfaxade, Selá,
25 Eber, Peleg, Reu;
Héber, Pelegue, Reú,
26 Serug, Nahor, Terah;
Serugue, Naor, Terá,
27 Abram—the same, is Abraham.
E Abrão, o qual é Abraão.
28 The sons of Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael.
Os filhos de Abraão foram: Isaque e Ismael.
29 These, are their generations, —the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth, then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam;
E estas são suas gerações: o primogênito de Ismael foi Nebaiote; [depois] Quedar, Adbeel, Mibsão,
30 Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema;
Misma, Dumá, Massá, Hadade, Temá,
31 Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These, are the sons of Ishmael.

32 And, the sons of Keturah, the concubine of Abraham, she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah, —and, the sons of Jokshan, Sheba, and Dedan;
Quanto aos filhos de Quetura, concubina de Abraão, esta deu à luz Zinrã, Jocsã, Medã, Midiã, Isbaque, e a Suá. Os filhos de Jobsã: Sebá e Dedã.
33 and, the sons of Midian, Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these, were the sons of Keturah.

34 So then Abraham begat Isaac, —the sons of Isaac, were Esau and Israel.
E Abraão gerou a Isaque: e os filhos de Isaque foram Esaú e Israel.
35 the sons of Esau, Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.
Os filhos de Esaú: Elifaz, Reuel, Jeús, Jalão, e Corá.
36 The sons of Eliphaz, Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
Os filhos de Elifaz: Temã, Omar, Zefi, Gatã, Quenaz, Timna, e Amaleque.
37 The sons of Reuel, Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
Os filhos de Reuel: Naate, Zerá, Samá, e Mizá.
38 And, the sons of Seir, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, —and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
Os filhos de Seir: Lotã, Sobal, Zibeão, Ana, Disom, Eser, e Disã.
39 And, the sons of Lotan, Hori, and Homam, —and, Lotan’s sister, was Timna.
Os filhos de Lotã: Hori, e Homã: e Timna foi irmã de Lotã.
40 The sons of Shobal, Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi and Onam. And, the sons of Zibeon, Aiah and Anah.
Os filhos de Sobal: Aliã, Manaate, Ebal, Sefi e Onã. Os filhos de Zibeão foram: Aiá, e Aná.
41 The sons of Anah, Dishon, —and, the sons of Dishon, Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
Disom foi filho de Aná: e os filhos de Disom foram Hanrão, Esbã, Itrã e Querã.
42 The sons of Ezer, Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan, Uz and Aran.
Os filhos de Eser foram: Bilã, Zaavã, e Jaacã. Os filhos de Disã: Uz e Arã.
43 Now, these, are the kings, who reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned a king of the sons of Israel, —Bela the son of Beor, and, the name of his city, was Dinhabah.
E estes são os reis que reinaram na terra de Edom, antes que reinasse [algum] rei sobre os filhos de Israel: Belá, filho de Beor; e o nome de sua cidade era Dinabá.
44 And Bela died, —and there reigned in his stead, Jobab son of Zerah, of Bozrah.
Belá morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Jobabe, filho de Zerá, de Bozra.
45 And Jobab died, —and there reigned in his stead, Husham, of the land of the Temanites.
Jobabe morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Husão, da terra dos Temanitas.
46 And Husham died, —and there reigned in his stead, Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, and, the name of his city, was Avith.
Husão morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Hadade, filho de Bedade, o qual feriu aos midianitas no campo de Moabe; e o nome de sua cidade era Avite.
47 And Hadad died, —and there reigned in his stead, Samlah of Masrekah.
Hadade morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Sanlá, de Masreca.
48 And Samlah died, —and there reigned in his stead, Shaul, of Rehoboth by the River.
Sanlá morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Saul de Reobote, que está junto ao rio.
49 And Shaul died, —and there reigned in his stead, Baal-hanan, the son of Achbor.
E Saul morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Baal-Hanã, filho de Acbor.
50 And Baal-hanan died, —and there reigned in his stead, Hadad, and, the name of his city, was Pai, —and, the name of his wife, was Mehetabel, daughter of Matred, daughter of Mezahab.
E Baal-Hanã morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Hadade, cuja cidade tinha por nome Paí; e o nome de sua mulher era Meetabel, filha de Matrede, a filha de Mezaabe.
51 And Hadad died. And there were chiefs of Edom: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth;
Hadade morreu. E os príncipes em Edom foram: o príncipe Timna, o príncipe Aliá, o príncipe Jetete,
52 chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon;
O príncipe Oolibama, o príncipe Elá, o príncipe Pinom,
53 chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar;
O príncipe Quenaz, o príncipe Temã, o príncipe Mibzar,
54 chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These, were the chiefs of Edom.
O príncipe Magdiel, o príncipe Irã. Estes foram os príncipe de Edom.
