Revelation 5
1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the back, close sealed with seven seals.
E eu vi na [mão] direita do que estava sentado sobre o trono um livro escrito por dentro e por fora, selado com sete selos.
2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a great voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
E vi um forte anjo, proclamando em alta voz: “Quem é digno de abrir o livro, e soltar seus selos?”
3 And no one in the heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the book, or to look thereon.
E ninguém no céu, nem na terra podia abrir o livro, nem olhar [para] ele.
4 And I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look thereon:
E eu chorei muito, porque ninguém foi achado digno de abrir o livro, nem de o ler, nem olhar [para] ele.
5 and one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion that is of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath overcome, to open the book and the seven seals thereof.
E um dos anciãos me disse: “Não chores; eis que o Leão da tribo de Judá, a raiz de Davi, venceu, para abrir o livro e soltar seus sete selos.”
6 And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.
E eu olhei, e eis que no meio do trono, e dos quatro animais, e no meio dos anciãos, um Cordeiro que estava como se tivesse sido morto, e tinha sete chifres, e sete olhos, que são os sete espíritos de Deus enviados para toda a terra.
7 And he came, and he taketh [it] out of the right hand of him that sat on the throne.
E ele veio, e tomou o livro da [mão] direita daquele que estava sentado sobre o trono.
8 And when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having each one a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
E quando ele tomou o livro, os quatro animais, e os vinte e quatro anciãos se prostraram diante do Cordeiro, tendo cada um harpas, e recipientes de ouro cheios de perfumes, que são as orações dos santos.
9 And they sing a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and didst purchase unto God with thy blood [men] of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation,
E eles cantavam um novo cântico, dizendo: “Digno és tu de tomar o livro, e abrir seus selos; porque foste morto, e com o teu sangue para Deus compraste [pessoas], de toda tribo, língua, povo, e nação;
10 and madest them [to be] unto our God a kingdom and priests; and they reign upon the earth.
e para nosso Deus tu as fizeste reis e sacerdotes; e reinarão sobre a terra.”
11 And I saw, and I heard a voice of many angels round about the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
E eu olhei, e ouvi uma voz de muitos anjos ao redor do trono, e dos animais, e dos anciãos; e o número deles era de centenas de milhões, e milhares de milhares;
12 saying with a great voice, Worthy is the Lamb that hath been slain to receive the power, and riches, and wisdom, and might, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
que diziam em alta voz: “Digno é o Cordeiro que foi morto, de receber poder, riquezas, sabedoria, força, honra, glória, e louvor!”
13 And every created thing which is in the heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all things that are in them, heard I saying, Unto him that sitteth on the throne, and unto the Lamb, [be] the blessing, and the honour, and the glory, and the dominion, for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)
E eu ouvi toda criatura que está no céu, e na terra, e abaixo da terra, e no mar, e todas as coisas que nelas há, dizendo: “Ao que está sentado sobre o trono, e ao Cordeiro, seja o louvor, a honra, a glória, e o poder, para todo o sempre!” (aiōn g165)
14 And the four living creatures said, Amen. And the elders fell down and worshipped.
E os quatro animais diziam: “Amém!” E os anciãos se prostraram e adoraram.
