Revelation 2
1 To the angel of the church in Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, he that walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks:
Eefesonen woossa keeththa kiitanchas hizga xaafa “Hayssi laapun xoolinttista ba oshacha kushen oykidadefene xompe wothiza laapun worqqa ballata giddon simerettizadefe yootettides”
2 I know thy works, and thy toil and patience, and that thou canst not bear evil men, and didst try them which call themselves apostles, and they are not, and didst find them false;
Tani ne oothozane ne dafetetha, ne danda7aka erayss. Neni qass iittata yega adhdhanas danda7onttayssa hawarista dishe bena hawarista gizaytaka shaakada istta wordanchata gidoyssa ne gakka demmidayssa ta erayss.
3 and thou hast patience and didst bear for my name’s sake, and hast not grown weary.
Neni danda7an minna eqqidayssane ta suntha gishshi saletontta ne waaye beyindayssa ta erayss.
4 But I have [this] against thee, that thou didst leave thy first love.
Gidikoka ta nena kadhiza issi miishi dess. Hessika beni kase ne siiqoza aggadasa.
5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I come to thee, and will move thy candlestick out of its place, except thou repent.
Neni kase ay mala dhoqason dashe ha7i qass ne waana kundidakone ane yuusha qofane maarotethan simma gela. Ne kase oothiza beni ne oothoza zaara otha. Ne hessa wursa zaara oothontta ixxiko ta neeko yaana. Neni maarotethan gelontta ixxiko ne xompe iza bolla wothiza balla he izi dizasope ta dentha gidana.
6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
Gido attin ta nena galatiza issi miishi dess. Hessika tani ixxiza niqola bagga asa ootho neka ixxadasa.
7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. To him that overcometh, to him will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.
“Ayanay woossa keethatas gido” geetettizayssa haythey diza urey wurikka siyo. Xoonida uray Xoossa ganate giddon diza deyo miththa ayfe maana mala ta oothana.
8 And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and lived [again]:
Sarminese woossa keethas kiitanchas hizga xaafa, “Hayssi koyrone wuriseth gididape kase hayqidadefene ha7i qass paxa dizadefe yootetidazikko.
9 I know thy tribulation, and thy poverty (but thou art rich), and the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
Tani ne waayezane ne manqotetha erayss. Gidikoka neni dureko. Ayhude gidontta dashe bena nuni Ayhudeko giza xala7e maabara gididayti heyti ne sunthu mooroyssa ta erayss.
10 Fear not the things which thou art about to suffer: behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life.
Buro sinthafe ne bolla gakkana metos babbofa. Inte paacettana mala intefe issi issi ura dabulosay qasho keeththa gelithana. Tamu gallas gakkanaas inte waaye beyanashin ne hayqqana gakkanaas ammanetidade gida. Tani ness deyo akilile immana.
11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
“Ayanay woossa keethatas gizayssa haythey diza uray siyo! xoonida uray nam7antho hayqon qohettena.
12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamum write; These things saith he that hath the sharp two-edged sword:
Pherigamone woossa keeththa kiitanchas hizga xaafa, “Hayss nam7u baggara qare mashsha oykidadefe yootettidazikko.
13 I know where thou dwellest, [even] where Satan’s throne is: and thou holdest fast my name, and didst not deny my faith, even in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwelleth.
Neni xala7e aligay dizason dizayssa tani erayss. Gido attin neni ta suntha lo7etha oykadasa. Ne tana ammanizayssa agabeyka. Taas amanetida marika gidida Anttiphasey xala7ey diza inte kataman asa kushen hayqida wodeka ne tana ammano agabeyka.
14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there some that hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit fornication.
Gidikoka ta nena kadhiza issi miishey ne bolla dess. Hessika Bala7ame timirtte oykida issi issi asati inte giddon dettes. Hessi bala7amey Isiraa7eele asay eeqas yarshettida kathi miidine laymma laymmatidi dhuphistana mala Baalaqe zoridadekko.
15 So hast thou also some that hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans in like manner.
Hessaththoka niqola bagga asata tmirtte oykida asatika inte gidon dettes.
16 Repent therefore; or else I come to thee quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of my mouth.
Hessa gishshi maarotethan gela, akkaye giiko tani ellesada neeko baada nena ta duunape keziza masha milatiza qaalara olana.
17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. To him that overcometh, to him will I give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and upon the stone a new name written, which no one knoweth but he that receiveth it.
Ayanay woossa keethatas gizayssa haythey diza uray siyo! xoonida uras ta qotan diza man7afe immana. Iza bolla oratha sunthi xaafettida bootha shuchuka izas ta immana. Hessaka ekkidadefe attin hara uray oonka erenna.
18 And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet are like unto burnished brass:
“Tiyaxirone woossa keeth kiitanchas hizga xaafa “Hayssi tama lacho milatiza ayfeti dizadefene bonqqida taman geli qoxetti kezida xariqimala milatiza tooti dizaddefe Xoossa naape kiitettidazikko.
19 I know thy works, and thy love and faith and ministry and patience, and that thy last works are more than the first.
Tani ne oothone ne siiqo, ne ammanone ne hagazo, ne denda7an minnoyssaka erayss. Kase oothozape guyeyssi adhdhizayssaka ta erayss.
20 But I have [this] against thee, that thou sufferest the woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess; and she teacheth and seduceth my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed to idols.
Gido attin ta nena kadhiza miishi dess. Hessika bena “Ta nabekko” giza maccashayo Elizabelo neni bessa aggida gishshi iza taas oothizayti laymma laymmatana malane eeqas yarishetida kathi maana mala iza tamarisada balethadus.
21 And I gave her time that she should repent; and she willeth not to repent of her fornication.
Iza maarotethan gelana mala ta izis wode immadis shin iza qass ba laymmatethaf simmanas koyabeyku.
22 Behold, I do cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of her works.
Hessa gishshi ta izo waaye aliga bolla yeggana. Izira oothida asati ba iitta oothope maarotethan simontta ixiko izira issife laymmatida wurisota bolla gita meto ta ehana.
23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto each one of you according to your works.
Tani izi nayta hayqon qaxxayana. woossa keethati wurikka asa qofane asa amo shaaka erizay tana gididayssa erana. Tani intes issas issas izade ootho mala immana.
24 But to you I say, to the rest that are in Thyatira, as many as have not this teaching, which know not the deep things of Satan, as they say; I cast upon you none other burden.
“Tiyaxironen dizaytas intesine hayssa iitta timirtte tamaronttaytas wurisos hessathoka issi issi (xala7es hayssi ciimma xuurako) gtetetizayssa kaallonttayta intena tani hara tooho toossike.
25 Howbeit that which ye have, hold fast till I come.
Gidikoka ta hee baana gakkanaas intes dizazi wuris minthi oykkite.
26 And he that overcometh, and he that keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give authority over the nations:
xoonida urasine ta oothon wuriseth gakkanaas minnizades hanko dereta bolla ta godateth immana.
27 and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter are broken to shivers; as I also have received of my Father:
Izi istta birata guufera haarana. Uriqafe medhettida miisha mala izi bukkidi liiqisana. Hessi he godatethayka tani ta Aawape ekoo godatetha malakko.
28 and I will give him the morning star.
Ta izas wontta bolla keziza xoolintta immana.
29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.
Ayanay woossa keethatas gizayssa haythey dizay wuri siyo.
