Psalms 98

1 A Psalm. Sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvelous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath wrought salvation for him.

Un salmo. Cántale al Señor una nueva canción, porque él ha hecho cosas maravillosas: ha ganado la victoria con su poderosa diestra y su brazo fuerte.

2 The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the nations.

El Señor ha revelado su salvación a las naciones, y les ha mostrado su bondad.

3 He hath remembered his mercy and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

No ha olvidado mostrar su gran amor y su fidelidad a las naciones de los descendientes de Israel. Nuestro Dios ha dejado clara su salvación hasta los confines de la tierra.

4 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: break forth and sing for joy, yea, sing praises.

Todo el mundo sobre la tierra, canten triunfantes al Señor; ¡Griten canciones de alegría en alabanza!

5 Sing praises unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp and the voice of melody:

Canten alabanzas a Dios con el arpa, con el arpa y voces melodiosas;

6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the King, the LORD.

con trompetas y al sonido del cuerno de carnero, canten con alegría ante el Señor, el Rey,

7 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein;

Que el mar y todo lo que en él está grite de alegría, juntamente con la tierra y todo lo que hay en ella.

8 Let the floods clap their hands; let the hills sing for joy together;

Que los ríos celebren, que los montes se unan a la celebración

9 Before the LORD, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.

ante el señor, porque él viene a juzgar la tierra. Juzgará al mundo de forma justa, y a las naciones con rectitud.
