Psalms 91
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
至上者のもとなる隠れたるところにすまふその人は全能者の蔭にやどらん
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.
われヱホバのことを宣て ヱホバはわが避所わが城わがよりたのむ神なりといはん
3 For he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
そは神なんぢを狩人のわなと毒をながす疫癘よりたすけいだしたまふべければなり
4 He shall cover thee with his pinions, and under his wings shalt thou take refuge: his truth is a shield and a buckler.
かれその翮をもてなんぢを庇ひたまはん なんぢその翼の下にかくれん その眞實は盾なり干なり
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
夜はおどろくべきことあり晝はとびきたる矢あり
6 For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
幽暗にはあゆむ疫癘あり日午にはそこなふ勵しき疾あり されどなんぢ畏るることあらじ
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; [but] it shall not come nigh thee.
千人はなんぢの左にたふれ萬人はなんぢの右にたふる されどその災害はなんぢに近づくことなからん
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, and see the reward of the wicked.
なんぢの眼はただこの事をみるのみ なんぢ惡者のむくいを見ん
9 For thou, O LORD, art my refuge! thou hast made the Most High thy habitation;
なんぢ曩にいへりヱホバはわが避所なりと なんぢ至上者をその住居となしたれば
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent.
災害なんぢにいたらず苦難なんぢの幕屋に近づかじ
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
そは至上者なんぢのためにその使者輩におほせて 汝があゆむもろもろの道になんぢを守らせ給へばなり
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
彼ら手にてなんぢの足の石にふれざらんために汝をささへん
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the serpent shalt thou trample under feet.
なんぢは獅と蝮とをふみ壯獅と蛇とを足の下にふみにじらん
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
彼その愛をわれにそそげるがゆゑに我これを助けん かれわが名をしるがゆゑに我これを高處におかん
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honour him.
かれ我をよはば我こたへん 我その苦難のときに偕にをりて之をたすけ之をあがめん
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
われ長寿をもてかれを足はしめ且わが救をしめさん
