< Psalms 83 >

1 A Song, a Psalm of Asaph. O God, keep not thou silence: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
Kathutkung: Asaph Oe Cathut, duem awm hanh leih, lawk tho laipalah duem awm hanh. Oe Cathut duem awm hanh.
2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
Na tarannaw teh ruengruengti awh. Nang kahmuhmanaw teh a loungouk awh.
3 They take crafty counsel against thy people, and consult together against thy hidden ones.
Na taminaw taranlahoi hnephnap hoi kho a khan awh teh, na hro e na taminaw taran laihoi pouknae a kâoup awh.
4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
Tho awh, miphun lah aonae koehoi raphoe awh sei, Isarel min hai panue hoeh nahanlah ati awh.
5 For they have consulted together with one consent; against thee do they make a covenant:
Lungpouk buet touh lah, a kâpan awh teh, nang taranlahoi lawkkamnae teh a sak awh.
6 The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab, and the Hagarenes;
Edom hoi Ishmael rim dawk kaawmnaw, Moab hoi Hagar,
7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre:
Gebal hoi Amon, Amalek hoi Filistin, hoi Taire kaawm e naw hoi lawkkam a sak awh.
8 Assyria also is joined with them; they have holpen the children of Lot. (Selah)
Assyria hai ahnimouh koelah a kambawng teh, Lot catounnaw hah a kabawp. (Selah)
9 Do thou unto them as unto Midian; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the river Kishon:
Ahnimouh teh Midian koe na sak e patetlah, Kishion palang vah Sisera koehoi Jabin koe na sak e patetlah, bout sak pouh haw.
10 Which perished at En-dor; they became as dung for the earth.
Ahnimouh teh Endor vah a due awh teh, talai dawk vaipuen lah a coung awh.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb; yea, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna:
A tami kalennaw teh Oreb hoi Zeeb patetlah sak nateh, Bokheiyah, ahnimae siangpahrang pueng hah Zeeb hoi Zalmunna patetlah sak haw.
12 Who said, Let us take to ourselves in possession the habitations of God.
Hotnaw ni Cathut e saring pânae hmuen koehoi, kamamouh hanlah ka la awh han ati awh.
13 O my God, make them like the whirling dust; as stubble before the wind.
Oe Cathut ahnimouh teh vaiphu kahlî ni palek e hoi vaikong kahlî ni a palek e patetlah coung sak haw.
14 As the fire that burneth the forest, and as the flame that setteth the mountains on fire;
Hmai ni thing a kak e hoi, mon hah hmai ni a kak e patetlah coung sak haw.
15 So pursue them with thy tempest, and terrify them with thy storm.
Ahnimouh teh na kahlî kathout hoi pâlei nateh, puenghoi katang e kahlî hoi pakhi haw.
16 Fill their faces with confusion; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.
Oe BAWIPA, na min a tawng awh nahan lah a minhmai ka paling lah kayak sak ngala haw.
17 Let them be ashamed and dismayed for ever; yea, let them be confounded and perish:
Nang dueng doeh BAWIPA min ka sin e hoi talai van pueng dawk Lathueng Poung lah na o e hah na panue thai awh nahanelah,
18 That they may know that thou alone, whose name is JEHOVAH, art the Most High over all the earth.
Yeiraipo hoi rucat hoi pou awm sak haw. Bokheiyah, kaya hoi awm sak nateh, koung kahmat naseh.
