Psalms 81
1 For the Chief Musician; set to the Gittith. A Psalm of Asaph. Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.
ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕನಿಗಾಗಿರುವ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ; ಗಿತ್ತೀ ರಾಗದಿಂದ ಹಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು. ಆಸಾಫನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಬಲವಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಧ್ವನಿಯಿಂದ ಹಾಡಿರಿ; ಯಾಕೋಬನ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಜಯಧ್ವನಿ ಗೈಯಿರಿ.
2 Take up the psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.
ವಾದ್ಯ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿರಿ; ದಮ್ಮಡಿಯನ್ನೂ, ರಮ್ಯವಾದ ಕಿನ್ನರಿಯನ್ನೂ ವೀಣೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಾರಿಸಿರಿ.
3 Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, at the full moon, on our solemn feast day.
ಅಮಾವಾಸ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಉತ್ಸವ ದಿವಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೊಂಬನ್ನು ಊದಿರಿ.
4 For it is a statute for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆ. ಯಾಕೋಬನ ದೇವರ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವೇ.
5 He appointed it in Joseph for testimony, when he went out over the land of Egypt: [where] I heard a language that I knew not.
ದೇವರು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟಾಗ, ಅದನ್ನು ಯೋಸೇಫನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು. ನಾವು ತಿಳಿಯದ ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ:
6 I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were freed from the basket.
“ಅವರ ಹೆಗಲ ಮೇಲಿಂದ ಭಾರವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದೆನು, ಬುಟ್ಟಿಗಳಿಂದ ಅವರ ಕೈಗಳು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾದವು.
7 Thou calledst in trouble, and I answered thee in the secret place of thunder; I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. (Selah)
ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಕರೆಮಾಡಿದಿರಿ, ಆಗ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿದೆನು. ಗುಡುಗಿನ ಮರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು. ಮೆರೀಬಾ ನೀರಿನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದೆನು.
8 Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wouldest hearken unto me!
ನನ್ನ ಜನರೇ ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
9 There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.
ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಅನ್ಯದೇವರು ಇರಬಾರದು; ಪರದೇವರಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡ ಬೀಳಬಾರದು.
10 I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಾನೇ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಅಗಲವಾಗಿ ತೆರೆ, ಆಗ ಅದನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸುವೆನು.
11 But my people hearkened not to my voice; and Israel would none of me.
“ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲು ನನಗೆ ಅಧೀನವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
12 So I let them go after the stubbornness of their heart, that they might walk in their own counsels.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರ ಹೃದಯದ ದುರಾಶೆಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದೆನು; ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳಂತೆ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡರು.
13 Oh that my people would hearken unto me, that Israel would walk in my ways!
“ಹಾ, ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆದಾಗಿತ್ತು! ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲು ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡರೆ ಮೇಲಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು,
14 I should soon subdue their enemies, and turn my hand against their adversaries.
ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಧೀನಪಡಿಸುವೆನು. ಅವರ ವೈರಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸುವೆನು.
15 The haters of the LORD should submit themselves unto him: but their time should endure for ever.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವವರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಾವೇ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುವರು. ಆದರೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ತಪ್ಪುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
16 He should feed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I satisfy thee.
ನಿಮಗಾದರೋ ಉತ್ತಮವಾದ ಗೋಧಿಯನ್ನು ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ಬಂಡೆಯೊಳಗಿನ ಜೇನಿನಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸುವೆನು.”
