Psalms 72
1 [A Psalm] of Solomon. Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king’s son.
Por Salomón. Dios, dale al rey tu justicia; tu justicia al hijo real.
2 He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.
Él juzgará a tu pueblo con justicia, y sus pobres con la justicia.
3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the hills, in righteousness.
Las montañas traerán prosperidad al pueblo. Las colinas traen el fruto de la justicia.
4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
Él juzgará a los pobres del pueblo. Salvará a los hijos de los necesitados, y hará pedazos al opresor.
5 They shall fear thee while the sun endureth, and so long as the moon, throughout all generations.
Te temerán mientras dure el sol; y tan largo como la luna, a través de todas las generaciones.
6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.
Descenderá como la lluvia sobre la hierba cortada, como duchas que riegan la tierra.
7 In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace, till the moon be no more.
En sus días, los justos florecerán, y la abundancia de la paz, hasta que la luna no sea más.
8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the River unto the ends of the earth.
También dominará de mar a mar, desde el río hasta los confines de la tierra.
9 They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
Los que habitan en el desierto se inclinarán ante él. Sus enemigos lamerán el polvo.
10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
Los reyes de Tarsis y de las islas traerán tributo. Los reyes de Saba y Seba ofrecerán regalos.
11 Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.
Sí, todos los reyes se postrarán ante él. Todas las naciones le servirán.
12 For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; and the poor, that hath no helper.
Porque él librará al necesitado cuando clame; el pobre, que no tiene ayudante.
13 He shall have pity on the poor and needy, and the souls of the needy he shall save.
Se apiadará de los pobres y necesitados. Salvará las almas de los necesitados.
14 He shall redeem their soul from oppression and violence; and precious shall their blood be in his sight:
Él redimirá su alma de la opresión y la violencia. Su sangre será preciosa a sus ojos.
15 And they shall live; and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: and men shall pray for him continually; they shall bless him all the day long.
Vivirá, y el oro de Saba le será entregado. Los hombres rezarán continuamente por él. Lo bendecirán todo el día.
16 There shall be abundance of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.
Habrá abundancia de grano en toda la tierra. Su fruto se balancea como el Líbano. Que florezca, floreciendo como la hierba del campo.
17 His name shall endure for ever; his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him; all nations shall call him happy.
Su nombre es eterno. Su nombre sigue siendo tan largo como el sol. Los hombres serán bendecidos por él. Todas las naciones lo llamarán bendito.
18 Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things:
Alabado sea Yahvé Dios, el Dios de Israel, que es el único que hace obras maravillosas.
19 And blessed be his glorious name for ever; and let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen, and Amen.
¡Bendito sea su glorioso nombre por siempre! ¡Que toda la tierra se llene de su gloria! Amén y amén.
20 The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.
