Psalms 66
1 For the Chief Musician. A Song, a Psalm. Make a joyful noise unto God, all the earth:
Al maestro de coro. Cántico. Salmo.
2 Sing forth the glory of his name: make his praise glorious.
Aclamad a Dios con júbilo, tierras todas; cantad salmos a la gloria de su Nombre; dadle el honor de la alabanza.
3 Say unto God, How terrible are thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.
Decid a Dios: “¡Cuan asombrosas son tus obras!” Aun tus enemigos te lisonjean por la grandeza de tu poder.
4 All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. (Selah)
Prostérnese ante Ti la tierra entera y cante tu Nombre.
5 Come, and see the works of God; [he is] terrible in his doing toward the children of men.
Venid y contemplad las hazañas de Dios; sublime en sus designios sobre los hombres.
6 He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the river on foot: there did we rejoice in him.
Trocó en tierra seca el mar; el río fue cruzado a pie enjuto. Alegrémonos en Él.
7 He ruleth by his might for ever; his eyes observe the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. (Selah)
Reina con su poderío para siempre; sus ojos observan a las naciones, para que los rebeldes no levanten cabeza.
8 O bless our God, ye peoples, and make the voice of his praise to be heard.
Bendecid, oh naciones, a nuestro Dios, y haced resonar su alabanza,
9 Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.
porque Él mantuvo en vida a nuestra alma, y no dejó que vacilara nuestro pie.
10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
Pues Tú nos probaste, oh Dios, nos probaste por el fuego, como se hace con la plata.
11 Thou broughtest us into the net; thou layedst a sore burden upon our loins.
Nos dejaste caer en el lazo; pusiste un peso aplastante sobre nuestras espaldas.
12 Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.
Hiciste pasar hombres sobre nuestra cabeza; atravesamos por fuego y por agua; mas nos sacaste a refrigerio.
13 I will come into thy house with burnt offerings, I will pay thee my vows,
Entraré en tu casa con holocausto, y te cumpliré mis votos,
14 Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in distress.
los que mis labios pronunciaron y prometió mi boca en medio de mi tribulación.
15 I will offer unto thee burnt offerings of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. (Selah)
Te ofreceré pingües holocaustos, con grosura de carneros; te inmolaré bueyes y cabritillos.
16 Come, and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
Venid, escuchad todos los que teméis a Dios; os contaré cuan grandes cosas ha hecho por mí.
17 I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.
Clamé hacia Él con mi boca, y su alabanza estaba pronta en mi lengua.
18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear:
Si mi corazón hubiera tenido en vista la iniquidad, el Señor no me habría escuchado;
19 But verily God hath heard; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
pero Dios oyó; atendió a la voz de mi plegaria.
20 Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
Bendito sea Dios, que no despreció mi oración y no retiró de mí su misericordia.
