< Psalms 61 >

1 For the Chief Musician; on a stringed instrument. [A Psalm] of David. Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.
Dawid dwom. Ao Onyankopɔn, tie me sufrɛ; tie me mpaeɛbɔ.
2 From the end of the earth will I call unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Mefiri asase ano frɛ wo, mefrɛ wo ɛfiri sɛ mʼakoma atɔ baha; fa me kɔ ɔbotan a ɛware sene me no so.
3 For thou hast been a refuge for me, a strong tower from the enemy.
Woayɛ me dwanekɔbea, aban a ɛyɛ den ma ɔtamfoɔ no.
4 I will dwell in thy tabernacle for ever: I will take refuge in the covert of thy wings. (Selah)
Me kɔn dɔ sɛ metena wo ntomadan no mu afebɔɔ na manya hintabea wɔ wo ntaban nwunu ase.
5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given [me] the heritage of those that fear thy name.
Woate me bɔhyɛ, Ao Onyankopɔn; na wode wɔn a wɔsuro wo din no agyapadeɛ ama me.
6 Thou wilt prolong the king’s life: his years shall be as many generations.
To ɔhene nkwa nna mu bebree; na ne mfeɛ mfiri awoɔ ntoatoasoɔ nkɔduru awoɔ ntoatoasoɔ.
7 He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare lovingkindness and truth, that they may preserve him.
Ma ɔnni ɔhene wɔ Onyankopɔn anim daa. Fa wʼadɔeɛ ne wo nokorɛ bɔ ne ho ban.
8 So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
Afei mɛto ayɛyie dwom ama wo din daa na madi me bɔhyɛ so daa nyinaa. Wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ Yedutun.
