Psalms 48
1 A Song; a Psalm of the sons of Korah. Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, in the city of our God, in his holy mountain.
౧ఒక పాట, కోరహు వారసుల కీర్తన. మన దేవుని పట్టణంలో తన పరిశుద్ధ పర్వతంపై యెహోవా గొప్పవాడు. అత్యధికంగా ఆయన్ని స్తుతించాలి.
2 Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, [on] the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
౨అది మన దేవుని మహా పట్టణం. ఉత్తరం వైపున ఉన్న సీయోను పర్వతం. దాని ఉచ్ఛ దశ ఎంతో సుందరంగా ఉంది. అది భూమి అంతటికీ ఆనందదాయకంగా ఉంది.
3 God hath made himself known in her palaces for a refuge.
౩దాని భవనాలలో దేవుడు తనను ఆశ్రయంగా తెలియజేసుకుంటున్నాడు.
4 For, lo, the kings assembled themselves, they passed by together.
౪చూడండి, రాజులు సమకూడారు. వాళ్ళంతా కలసి వచ్చారు.
5 They saw it, then were they amazed; they were dismayed, they hasted away.
౫వాళ్ళు దాన్ని చూశారు. ఆశ్చర్యపోయారు. తర్వాత వ్యాకులపడ్డారు. గబగబా అక్కణ్ణించి వెళ్ళిపోయారు.
6 Trembling took hold of them there; pain, as of a woman in travail.
౬వాళ్ళు అక్కడ ఉన్నప్పుడు వాళ్ళలో వణుకు పుట్టింది. ప్రసవించబోయే స్త్రీకి కలిగే నొప్పుల్లాటి వేదన వాళ్లకు కలిగింది.
7 With the east wind thou breakest the ships of Tarshish.
౭తూర్పుగాలిని నువ్వు రేపి దానితో తర్షీషు ఓడలను పగలగొడుతున్నావు.
8 As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. (Selah)
౮సేనల ప్రభువైన యెహోవా పట్టణంలో, మన దేవుని పట్టణంలో మనం ఏదైతే విన్నామో దానినే చూశాం. దేవుడు దాన్ని కలకాలం ఉండేలా స్థిరం చేశాడు.
9 We have thought on thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.
౯దేవా, నీ మందిరంలో మేము నీ నిబంధన కృపను ధ్యానం చేశాం.
10 As is thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.
౧౦దేవా, నీ నామం గొప్పదైనట్టు నీ కీర్తి కూడా భూమి అంచులవరకూ గొప్పగా ఉంది. నీతి న్యాయాలతో నీ కుడిచెయ్యి నిండి ఉంది.
11 Let mount Zion be glad, let the daughters of Judah rejoice, because of thy judgments.
౧౧న్యాయమైన నీ శాసనాలను బట్టి సీయోను పర్వతం సంతోషించనీ. యూదా కుమార్తెలను ఆనందించనీ.
12 Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.
౧౨సీయోను పర్వతం చుట్టూ తిరుగు. దాని చుట్టూ తిరుగుతూ ఆమె గోపురాలను లెక్కించు.
13 Mark ye welt her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.
౧౩తర్వాత తరం వాళ్ళకు దాని గురించి చెప్పడానికై ఆమె గోడలను పరిశీలించు. ఆమె భవనాలను చూడు.
14 For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide [even] unto death.
౧౪ఈ దేవుడు నిరంతరం మనకు దేవుడుగా ఉన్నాడు. మరణం వరకూ ఆయన మనలను నడిపిస్తాడు.
