Psalms 48
1 A Song; a Psalm of the sons of Korah. Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, in the city of our God, in his holy mountain.
Псаломска песен на Кореевите синове. Велик е Господ; и твърде достохвален В града на нашия Бог, в Своя свет хълм.
2 Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, [on] the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
Красив по възвишеността си, радост на цялата земя, Е хълмът Сион, гдето по северните му страни Е градът на великия цар.
3 God hath made himself known in her palaces for a refuge.
В палатите му Бог е познат като прибежище.
4 For, lo, the kings assembled themselves, they passed by together.
Защото, ето, царете се събраха; Всички преминаха.
5 They saw it, then were they amazed; they were dismayed, they hasted away.
Те като видяха почудиха се, Смутиха се, спуснаха се на бяг.
6 Trembling took hold of them there; pain, as of a woman in travail.
Трепет ги обзе там, Болки като на раждаща жена.
7 With the east wind thou breakest the ships of Tarshish.
С източния вятър Ти съкрушаваш тарсийските кораби.
8 As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. (Selah)
Каквото бяхме чули, това и видяхме В града на Господа на Силите, в града на нашия Бог, Който Бог и до века ще утвърди. (Села)
9 We have thought on thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.
Размишляваме, Боже, за Твоето милосърдие Всред Твоя храм.
10 As is thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.
Според името Ти, Боже, е и хвалата Ти до краищата на земята; Десницата Ти е пълна с правда.
11 Let mount Zion be glad, let the daughters of Judah rejoice, because of thy judgments.
Нека се весели хълмът Сион, Нека се радват Юдовите дъщери. Заради Твоите съдби.
12 Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.
Обиколете Сион и обходете го; Пребройте кулите му;
13 Mark ye welt her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.
Обърнете внимание в укрепленията му; Разгледайте палатите му; За да го разказвате на поколението подир вас.
14 For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide [even] unto death.
Защото Тоя Бог е наш Бог до вечни векове; Той ще ни ръководи дори до смърт.
