Psalms 47

1 For the Chief Musician; a Psalm of the sons of Korah. O clap your hands, all ye peoples; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

संगीत निर्देशक के लिये. कोराह के पुत्रों की रचना. एक स्तोत्र. समस्त राष्ट्रो, तालियां बजाओ; हर्षोल्लास में परमेश्वर का जय जयकार करो.

2 For the LORD Most High is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.

याहवेह, सर्वोच्च परमेश्वर भय-योग्य हैं, वही समस्त पृथ्वी के ऊपर पराक्रमी राजा हैं.

3 He shall subdue the peoples under us, and the nations under our feet.

उन्हीं ने जनताओं को हमारे अधीन कर दिया है, लोग हमारे पैरों के नीचे हो गए हैं.

4 He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. (Selah)

उन्हीं ने हमारे लिए निज भाग को निर्धारित किया है, यही याकोब का गौरव है, जो उनका प्रिय है.

5 God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.

जय जयकार की ध्वनि के मध्य से परमेश्वर ऊपर उठाए गए, तुरही नाद के मध्य याहवेह ऊपर उठाए गए.

6 Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

स्तुति गान में परमेश्वर की वंदना करो, वंदना करो; स्तुति गान में हमारे राजाधिराज की वंदना करो, वंदना करो.

7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

परमेश्वर संपूर्ण पृथ्वी के राजाधिराज हैं; उनके सम्मान में एक स्तवन गीत प्रस्तुत करो.

8 God reigneth over the nations: God sitteth upon his holy throne.

संपूर्ण राष्ट्रों पर परमेश्वर का शासन है; परमेश्वर अपने महान सिंहासन पर विराजमान हैं.

9 The princes of the peoples are gathered together [to be] the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God; he is greatly exalted.

अब्राहाम के परमेश्वर की प्रजा के रूप में जनताओं के अध्यक्ष एकत्र हुए हैं, क्योंकि पृथ्वी की ढालों पर परमेश्वर का अधिकार है; परमेश्वर अत्यंत ऊंचे हैं.
