Psalms 46
1 For the Chief Musician: [a Psalm] of the sons of Korah; set to Alamoth. A Song. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
੧ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕੋਰਹ ਵੰਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਅਲਾਮੋਥ ਦੀ ਰਾਗ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਗੀਤ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਡੀ ਪਨਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡਾ ਬਲ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ।
2 Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, and though the mountains be moved in the heart of the seas;
੨ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਨਾ ਡਰਾਂਗੇ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਲਟ ਜਾਵੇ, ਅਤੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਸੁੱਟੇ ਜਾਣ,
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. (Selah)
੩ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਗਰਜਣ ਅਤੇ ਝੱਗ ਛੱਡਣ, ਅਤੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਧਣ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਥਰ-ਥਰਾਉਣ। ਸਲਹ।
4 There is a river, the streams whereof make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High.
੪ਇੱਕ ਨਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਧਾਰਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨਗਰ ਨੂੰ, ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਦੇ ਡੇਰਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਅਨੰਦਿਤ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
੫ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਨਾ ਡੋਲੇਗਾ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
6 The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
੬ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਹੁੱਲੜ ਮਚਾਇਆ, ਰਾਜ ਡੋਲ ਗਏ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸੁਣਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਪੰਘਰ ਗਈ।
7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. (Selah)
੭ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਹੈ, ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਡਾ ਉੱਚਾ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਹੈ। ਸਲਹ।
8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
੮ਆਓ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖੋ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਤਬਾਹੀਆਂ ਮਚਾਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariots in the fire.
੯ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਬੰਨਿਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਲੜਾਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਧਣੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਨ ਸੁੱਟਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਛੀ ਦੇ ਟੋਟੇ-ਟੋਟੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਰਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਨਾਲ ਸਾੜ ਸੁੱਟਦਾ ਹੈ!
10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
੧੦ਸਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਲੜੋ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਓ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਡਿਆਇਆ ਜਾਂਵਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਡਿਆਇਆ ਜਾਂਵਾਂਗਾ!
