Psalms 44
1 For the Chief Musician; [a Psalm] of the sons of Korah. Maschil. We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the days of old.
১হে ঈশ্বৰ, আমি আমাৰ নিজৰ কাণেৰে শুনিলোঁ; পূৰ্বকালত আমাৰ পূর্বপুৰুষ সকলৰ দিনত তুমি যি যি কাৰ্য কৰিছিলা, সেই সম্বন্ধে আমাক তেওঁলোকে ক’লে।
2 Thou didst drive out the nations with thy hand, and plantedst them in; thou didst afflict the peoples, and didst spread them abroad.
২তুমি তোমাৰ নিজৰ হাতেৰেই আন জাতিবোৰক খেদি দিছিলা; সেই ঠাইত তুমি আমাৰ লোকসকলক স্থাপন কৰিলা। তুমি সেই সকলো লোকক নাশ কৰিলা, কিন্তু আমাৰ লোকসকলক তুমি মুক্ত কৰি বিস্তাৰিত কৰিলা।
3 For they gat not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.
৩তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ তৰোৱালৰ দ্বাৰাই সেই দেশ অধিকাৰ কৰা নাছিল, নিজৰ বাহুৰ শক্তিত জয় লাভ কৰা নাছিল; কিন্তু তোমাৰ সোঁ হাত, তোমাৰ বাহু, আৰু তোমাৰ মুখৰ দীপ্তিয়েহে তাক কৰিছিল; কিয়নো আমাৰ লোকসকলৰ ওপৰত তোমাৰ অনুগ্ৰহ আছিল।
4 Thou art my King, O God: command deliverance for Jacob.
৪তুমিয়েই মোৰ ৰজা, তুমিয়েই মোৰ ঈশ্বৰ; যাকোবৰ জয়ৰ বাবে তুমিয়েই আজ্ঞা কৰা।
5 Through thee will we push down our adversaries: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.
৫আমাৰ শত্রুবোৰক আমি তোমাৰ দ্বাৰায়েই তললৈ ঠেলি পঠাম; আমাৰ বিপক্ষে উঠাসকলক আমি তোমাৰ নামত ভৰিৰ তলত গছকিম।
6 For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.
৬মই নিজৰ ধনুৰ ওপৰত ভাৰসা নকৰোঁ, মোৰ তৰোৱালে মোক ৰক্ষা কৰিব নোৱাৰে।
7 But thou hast saved us from our adversaries, and hast put them to shame that hate us.
৭কিন্তু তুমিয়েই শত্ৰুবোৰৰ পৰা আমাক ৰক্ষা কৰিলা, আৰু আমাক ঘৃণা কৰা সকলক তুমি লাজত পেলালা।
8 In God have we made our boast all the day long, and we will give thanks unto thy name for ever. (Selah)
৮ঈশ্বৰৰ নামতে আমি সকলো সময়তে গর্ব কৰি আহিছোঁ; চিৰকাল আমি তোমাৰ নামৰ ধন্যবাদ কৰি থাকিম। (চেলা)
9 But now thou hast cast [us] off, and brought us to dishonour; and goest not forth with our hosts.
৯কিন্তু তুমি এতিয়া আমাক ত্যাগ কৰিলা, আমাক অপমানিত কৰিলা; আমাৰ সৈন্য সমূহৰ লগত তুমি যাত্রা নকৰা।
10 Thou makest us to turn back from the adversary: and they which hate us spoil for themselves.
১০শত্রুৰ সন্মুখৰ পৰা তুমি আমাক পাছ হুঁহুকি আহিবলৈ বাধ্য কৰিলা; আমাক শত্রুবোৰে আমাক লুট কৰিছে।
11 Thou hast given us like sheep [appointed] for meat; and hast scattered us among the nations.
১১তুমি আমাক কাটিবলৈ নিয়া মেৰ-ছাগৰ দৰে কৰিলা; জাতিবোৰৰ মাজত আমাক সিঁচৰতি কৰিলা।
12 Thou sellest thy people for nought, and hast not increased [thy wealth] by their price.
১২তুমি তোমাৰ লোক সমূহক, বিনামূল্যেই বেচিলা, তেওঁলোকৰ বিনিময়ত তুমি অধিক ধন নিবিচাৰিলা।
13 Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us.
১৩ওচৰ-চুবুৰীয়াৰ আগত তুমি আমাক নিন্দাৰ বিষয় কৰিছা; চাৰিওফালৰ লোক সকলৰ ওচৰত আমাক বিদ্ৰূপ আৰু তুচ্ছজ্ঞানৰ পাত্ৰ কৰিছা।
14 Thou makest us a byword among the nations, a shaking of the head among the peoples.
১৪অন্যান্য জাতিবোৰৰ মাজত তুমি আমাক দৃষ্টান্ত কৰিছা; লোক সকলৰ মাজত আমাক হাঁহিয়াতৰ পাত্র কৰিছা।
15 All the day long is my dishonour before me, and the shame of my face hath covered me,
১৫ওৰে দিনটো মোৰ অপমান মোৰ আগতে আছে, আৰু মোৰ মুখৰ লাজে মোক ঢাকিছে;
16 For the voice of him that reproacheth and blasphemeth; by reason of the enemy and the avenger.
১৬মোক নিন্দা আৰু তুচ্ছ জ্ঞান কৰাসকলৰ কথাৰ কাৰণে, শত্রু আৰু প্রতিহিংসাকাৰী সকলৰ কাৰণে,
17 All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant.
১৭আমালৈ এই সকলো ঘটিল; তথাপি আমি তোমাক পাহৰা নাই, অথবা তোমাৰ ব্যৱস্থাৰ বিষয়ে বিশ্বাস-ঘাতকতা কৰা নাই।
18 Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from thy way;
১৮তোমাৰ পৰা আমাৰ মন ঘূৰা নাই; তোমাৰ পথৰ পৰাও আমাৰ ভৰি আঁতৰি যোৱা নাই।
19 That thou hast sore broken us in the place of jackals, and covered us with the shadow of death.
১৯তথাপিও তুমি আমাক শিয়ালবোৰৰ ঠাইত গুড়ি কৰিলা, মৃত্যুচ্ছায়াৰে আমাক ঢাকি ধৰিলা।
20 If we have forgotten the name of our God, or spread forth our hands to a strange god;
২০আমাৰ ঈশ্বৰক যদি আমি পাহৰিলোঁ, নাইবা আমাৰ হাত যদি আন কোনো দেৱতাৰ ফালে আগবঢ়াইছো,
21 Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.
২১তেন্তে ঈশ্বৰে জানো তাক নাজানিব? কিয়নো তেওঁ মনৰ গোপনীয় সকলো কথাই জানে।
22 Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.
২২কিন্তু তথাপিও তোমাৰ কাৰণেই আমি গোটেই দিনটো হত হৈছোঁ; আমি বধ কৰিব লগীয়া মেৰ-ছাগৰ নিচিনা গণিত হৈছোঁ।
23 Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, cast [us] not off for ever.
২৩হে যিহোৱা, সাৰ পোৱা, তুমি কিয় টোপনিয়াই আছা? জাগি উঠা, চিৰকাললৈকে আমাক ত্যাগ নকৰিবা!
24 Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression?
২৪তুমি কিয় তোমাৰ মুখ ঢাকি ৰাখিছা? আমাৰ ক্লেশ আৰু উপদ্ৰৱ কিয় পাহৰিছা?
25 For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaveth unto the earth.
২৫আমাৰ প্ৰাণ ধূলিলৈকে নামি হৈছে, আমাৰ শৰীৰ মাটিত লাগি গৈছে।
26 Rise up for our help, and redeem us for thy lovingkindness’ sake.
২৬উঠি আহা, আমাক সহায় কৰা; তোমাৰ গভীৰ প্রেম অনুসাৰে তুমি আমাক মুক্ত কৰা।
