Psalms 3
1 A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. LORD, how are mine adversaries increased! many are they that rise up against me.
【困苦人的祈禱】 達味詩歌，作於逃避其子阿貝沙隆時。 上主，迫害我的人，不可勝數! 攻擊我的人，成群結隊！
2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. (Selah)
很多人論及我說：天主絕不拯救他！
3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield about me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
但是你，上主，是圍護我的盾牌，是我的榮耀，常使我首昂頭抬。
4 I cry unto the LORD with my voice, and he answereth me out of his holy hill. (Selah)
我一向上主大聲呼號，祂便從聖山上俯聽我。
5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustaineth me.
我躺下安睡，我又醒了，因為上主常扶持著我。
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of the people, that have set themselves against me round about.
雖有千萬人，向我圍攻，我一絲一毫也不驚恐。
7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the wicked.
上主，請你興起奮發；我的天主，求你救拔，因為你擊破了我仇敵的腮頰，你打破眾惡人的門牙。
8 Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing be upon thy people. (Selah)
救援之恩完全屬於上主；願你的百姓受你的祝福！
