Psalms 22
1 For the Chief Musician; set to Aijeleth hash-Shahar. A Psalm of David. My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? [why art thou so] far from helping me, [and from] the words of my roaring?
संगीत निर्देशक के लिये. “सबेरे की हिरणी” धुन पर आधारित. दावीद का एक स्तोत्र. मेरे परमेश्वर, मेरे परमेश्वर, क्यों आपने मेरा परित्याग कर दिया? मुझे मुक्त करने में इतना विलंब क्यों हो रहा है? क्यों मेरे कराहने का स्वर आप सुन नहीं पा रहे?
2 O my God, I cry in the day-time, but thou answerest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
मेरे परमेश्वर, मैं दिन में पुकारता हूं पर आप उत्तर नहीं देते, रात्रि में भी मुझे शांति प्राप्त नहीं हो पाती.
3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
जबकि पवित्र हैं आप; जो इस्राएल के स्तवन पर विराजमान हैं.
4 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
हमारे पूर्वजों ने आप पर भरोसा किया; उन्होंने आप पर भरोसा किया और आपने उनका उद्धार किया.
5 They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not ashamed.
उन्होंने आपको पुकारा और आपने उनका उद्धार किया; आप में उनके विश्वास ने उन्हें लज्जित होने न दिया.
6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
अब मैं मनुष्य नहीं, कीड़ा मात्र रह गया हूं, मनुष्यों के लिए लज्जित, जनसाधारण के लिए अपमानित.
7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, [saying],
वे सभी, जो मुझे देखते हैं, मेरा उपहास करते हैं; वे मेरा अपमान करते हुए सिर हिलाते हुए कहते हैं,
8 Commit [thyself] unto the LORD; let him deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighteth in him.
“उसने याहवेह में भरोसा किया है, याहवेह ही उसे मुक्त कराएं. वही उसे बचाएं, क्योंकि वह याहवेह में ही मगन रहता है.”
9 But thou art he that took me out the womb: thou didst make me trust [when I was] upon my mother’s breasts.
आप ही हैं, जिन्होंने मुझे गर्भ से सुरक्षित निकाला; जब मैं अपनी माता की गोद में ही था, आपने मुझमें अपने प्रति विश्वास जगाया.
10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother’s belly.
जन्म के समय से ही मुझे आपकी सुरक्षा में छोड़ दिया गया; आप उस क्षण से मेरे परमेश्वर हैं, जिस क्षण से मैं माता के गर्भ में आया.
11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.
प्रभु, मुझसे दूर न रहें, क्योंकि संकट निकट दिखाई दे रहा है और मेरा सहायक कोई नहीं.
12 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
अनेक सांड़ मुझे घेरे हुए हैं; बाशान के सशक्त सांड़ों ने मुझे घेर रखा है.
13 They gape upon me with their mouth, [as] a ravening and a roaring lion.
उन्होंने अपने मुंह ऐसे फाड़ रखे हैं जैसे गरजनेवाले हिंसक सिंह अपने शिकार को देख मुख फाड़ते हैं.
14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
मुझे जल के समान उंडेल दिया गया है, मेरी हड्डियां जोड़ों से उखड़ गई हैं. मेरा हृदय मोम समान हो चुका है; वह भी मेरे भीतर ही भीतर पिघल चुका है.
15 My Strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
मेरा मुंह ठीकरे जैसा शुष्क हो चुका है, मेरी जीभ तालू से चिपक गई है; आपने मुझे मृत्यु की मिट्टी में छोड़ दिया है.
16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of evil-doers have enclosed me; they pierced my hands and my feet.
कुत्ते मुझे घेरकर खड़े हुए हैं, दुष्टों का समूह मेरे चारों ओर खड़ा हुआ है; उन्होंने मेरे हाथ और पांव छेद दिए हैं.
17 I may tell all my bones; they look and stare upon me:
अब मैं अपनी एक-एक हड्डी गिन सकता हूं; लोग मुझे ताकते हुए मुझ पर कुदृष्टि डालते हैं.
18 They part my garments among them, and upon my vesture do they cast lots.
उन्होंने मेरा बाहरी कपड़ा आपस में बांट लिया, और मेरे अंदर के वस्त्र के लिए पासा फेंका.
19 But be not thou far off, O LORD: O thou my succour, haste thee to help me.
किंतु, याहवेह, आप मुझसे दूर न रहें. आप मेरी शक्ति के स्रोत हैं; मेरी सहायता के लिए देर मत लगाइए.
20 Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog;
तलवार के प्रहार से तथा कुत्तों के आक्रमण से, मेरे जीवन की रक्षा करें.
21 Save me from the lion’s mouth; yea, from the horns of the wild-oxen thou hast answered me.
सिंहों के मुंह से तथा वन्य सांड़ों के सीगों से, मेरी रक्षा करें.
22 I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
तब मैं स्वजनों में आपकी महिमा का प्रचार करूंगा; सभा में मैं आपका स्तवन करूंगा.
23 Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and stand in awe of him, all ye the seed of Israel.
याहवेह के श्रद्धालुओ, उनका स्तवन करो! याकोब के वंशजो, उनका सम्मान करो! समस्त इस्राएल वंशजो, उनकी वंदना करो!
24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
क्योंकि याहवेह ने दुःखितों की शोचनीय, करुण स्थिति को न तो तुच्छ जाना और न ही उससे घृणा की. वह पीड़ितों की यातनाएं देखकर उनसे दूर न हुए, परंतु उन्होंने उनकी सहायता के लिए उनकी वाणी सुनी.
25 Of thee cometh my praise in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.
महासभा में आपके गुणगान के लिए मेरे प्रेरणास्रोत आप ही हैं; आपके श्रद्धालुओं के सामने मैं अपने प्रण पूर्ण करूंगा.
26 The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek after him: let your heart live for ever.
नम्र पुरुष भोजन कर तृप्त हो जाएगा; जो याहवेह के खोजी हैं, वे उनका स्तवन करेंगे. सर्वदा सजीव रहे तुम्हारा हृदय!
27 All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
पृथ्वी की छोर तक सभी मनुष्य याहवेह को स्मरण कर उनकी ओर उन्मुख होंगे, राष्ट्रों के समस्त परिवार उनके सामने नतमस्तक होंगे.
28 For the kingdom is the LORD’S: and he is the ruler over the nations.
क्योंकि राज्य याहवेह ही का है, समस्त राष्ट्रों के अधिपति वही हैं.
29 All the fat ones of the earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him, even he that cannot keep his soul alive.
खा-पीकर पृथ्वी के समस्त हृष्ट-पुष्ट उनके सामने नतमस्तक हो उनकी वंदना करेंगे; सभी नश्वर मनुष्य उनके सामने घुटने टेक देंगे, जो अपने ही प्राण जीवित रख नहीं सकते.
30 A seed shall serve him; it shall be told of the Lord unto the [next] generation.
यह संपूर्ण पीढ़ी उनकी सेवा करेगी; भावी पीढ़ी को प्रभु के विषय में बताया जाएगा.
31 They shall come and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done it.
वे परमेश्वर की धार्मिकता तथा उनके द्वारा किए गए महाकार्य की घोषणा उस पीढ़ी के सामने करेंगे, जो अभी अजन्मी ही है.
