Psalms 18
1 For the Chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David the servant of the LORD, who spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul: and he said, I love thee, O LORD, my strength.
১প্রধান বাদ্যকরের জন্য। সদাপ্রভুুর দাস দায়ূদের গীত যে দিন সদাপ্রভুু সমস্ত শত্রুর হাত থেকে এবং শৌলের হাত থেকে দায়ূদকে উদ্ধার করলেন, সেই দিন তিনি সদাপ্রভুুর সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশ্যে এই গীতের কথা নিবেদন করলেন। তিনি বললেন। সদাপ্রভুু, আমার শক্তি, আমি তোমাকে ভালবাসি।
2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strong rock, in him will I trust; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.
২সদাপ্রভুু আমার শৈল, আমার দূর্গ, আমার সাহায্যকারী; তিনি আমার ঈশ্বর, আমার দৃঢ় শৈল; আমি তার আশ্রয় নিই। সে আমার ঢাল, আমার পরিত্রানের শিং এবং আমার সুরক্ষিত আশ্রয়।
3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
৩আমি সদাপ্রভুুকে ডাকি যিনি প্রশংসার যোগ্য এবং আমি আমার শত্রুদের থেকে রক্ষা পাব।
4 The cords of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodliness made me afraid.
৪মৃত্যুর দড়ি আমাকে ঘিরে ধরেছিল এবং দ্রুতগতির জলধারা আমাকে আতঙ্কিত করেছিল।
৫পাতালের দড়ি আমাকে ঘিরে ধরেছে; মৃত্যুর জাল আমাকে ফাঁদে ফেলেছিল। (Sheol h7585)
6 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry before him came into his ears.
৬বিপদের মধ্যে আমি সদাপ্রভুুকে ডাকলাম; আমি সাহায্যের জন্য আমার ঈশ্বরকে ডাকলাম। তিনি তাঁর মন্দির থেকে আমার স্বর শুনলেন; আমার কান্না তাঁর সামনে উপস্হিত হয়েছে; তা তাঁর কানে প্রবেশ করেছে।
7 Then the earth shook and trembled, me foundations also of the mountains moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.
৭তখন পৃথিবী নড়ে উঠল এবং কেঁপে উঠলো; পর্বতের ভিত্তিও নড়ে গেলে এবং তা ঈশ্বরের ক্রোধের জন্য কেঁপে উঠল।
8 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
৮তাঁর নাক থেকে ধোঁয়া বের হল এবং জ্বলন্ত আগুন তাঁর মুখ থেকে বের হয়ে এল। কয়লা এর দ্বারা প্রজ্বলিত হয়।
9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down, and thick darkness was under his feet.
৯তিনি আকাশকে নত করেন এবং নিচে নেমে এলেন ও ঘন অন্ধকার তাঁর পায়ের নিচে ছিল।
10 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly, yea, he flew swiftly upon the wings of the wind.
১০তিনি যিনি করূবের চরে উড়ছেন, তিনি বাতাসের ডানার উপরে উড়ে আসেন।
11 He made darkness his hiding place, his pavilion round about him; darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.
১১তিনি তাঁর চারপাশে অন্ধকারের একটি তাঁবু তৈরী করেন, আকাশের বৃষ্টিমেঘ।
12 At the brightness before him his thick clouds passed, hailstones and coals of fire.
১২তাঁর সামনে বিদ্যুৎ থেকে, শিলাবৃষ্টি এবং জলন্ত কয়লা পড়ে।
13 The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Most High uttered his voice; hailstones and coals of fire.
১৩সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভুু আকাশে গর্জন করলেন! মহান ঈশ্বর উচ্চ আওয়াজ করলেন এবং শিলাবৃষ্টি ও বজ্র পাঠালেন।
14 And he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; yea, lightnings manifold, and discomfited them.
১৪তিনি তাঁর তীর ছুঁড়লেন এবং তাঁর শত্রুদের ছিন্নভিন্ন করলেন; অনেক বজ্র তাদের বিক্ষিপ্ত করল।
15 Then the channels of waters appeared, and the foundations of the world were laid bare, at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.
১৫তখন জলরাশির প্রণালী পথ প্রকাশ পেল। ভূমন্ডলের মূল সকল অনাবৃত হল, তোমার তর্জ্জনে, হে সদাপ্রভু, তোমার নাসিকার প্রশ্বাসবায়ুতে।
16 He sent from on high, he took me; he drew me out of many waters.
১৬তিনি উপর থেকে নিচে এসেছেন এবং আমাকে ধরে রেখেছেন; আমাকে ধরলেন! গভীর জল থেকে আমাকে টেনে তুললেন।
17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me, for they were too mighty for me.
১৭আমার শক্তিশালী শত্রু কাছ থেকে তিনি আমাকে উদ্ধার করলেন, যারা আমাকে ঘৃণা করেছে, কারণ তারা আমার থেকে খুব শক্তিশালী।
18 They came upon me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.
১৮আমার কষ্টের দিনের তারা আমার বিরুদ্ধে এসেছিল কিন্তু সদাপ্রভুু আমার অবলম্বন হলেন।
19 He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
১৯তিনি আমাকে একটি খোলা প্রশস্ত স্থানে বের করে নিয়ে এলেন; তিনি আমাকে রক্ষা করলেন, কারণ তিনি আমার প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট ছিলেন।
20 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
২০আমার ধার্মিকতার কারণে সদাপ্রভুু আমাকে পুরস্কৃত করেছেন; আমার হাত শুচি করার কারণে তিনি আমাকে পুরষ্কার দিয়েছেন।
21 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
২১কারণ আমি সদাপ্রভুুর পথে চলেছি এবং অধার্মিকতার সঙ্গে আমার ঈশ্বরকে ত্যাগ করিনি।
22 For all his judgments were before me, and I put not away his statutes from me.
২২তাঁর সমস্ত ধার্মিক শাসন আমার সামনে ছিল; তাঁর নিয়ম অনুযায়ী, আমি তাদের থেকে দূরে যায় নি।
23 I was also perfect with him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.
২৩আমি তাঁর সামনে নির্দোষ ছিলাম এবং পাপ থেকে নিজেকে রক্ষা করতাম।
24 Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.
২৪তাই সদাপ্রভুু আমার ধার্মিকতার জন্য, তাঁর চোখের সামনে আমার হাত পরিষ্কার ছিল বলে, তিনি আমাকে প্রতিফল দিলেন।
25 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with the perfect man thou wilt shew thyself perfect;
২৫একজন বিশ্বস্ত ব্যক্তির প্রতি, তুমি নিজে বিশ্বস্ত থাক; একজন ন্যায়পরায়ণ ব্যক্তির সঙ্গে তুমি নিজেকে ন্যায়পরায়ণ দেখাও।
26 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the perverse thou wilt shew thyself froward.
২৬সরলদের প্রতি তুমি নিজেকে সহজ দেখাও কিন্তু কুটিলদের প্রতি তুমি চতুরতার সঙ্গে ব্যবহার করবে।
27 For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but the haughty eyes thou wilt bring down.
২৭কারণ তুমি দুঃখী লোকেদের রক্ষা কর, কিন্তু তুমি চূর্ণ কর অহঙ্কারীদের গর্ব।
28 For thou wilt light my lamp: the LORD my God will lighten my darkness.
২৮তুমিই আমার প্রদীপের আলো উজ্জ্বল করেছ; সদাপ্রভুু আমার ঈশ্বর আমার অন্ধকারকে আলোকিত করেন।
29 For by thee I run upon a troop; and by my God do I leap over a wall.
২৯কারণ তোমার সাহায্যেই আমি একটি সৈন্যদলের বিরুদ্ধে দৌড়াই; আমার ঈশ্বরের সাহায্যেই আমি দেওয়াল অতিক্রম করি।
30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried; he is a shield unto all them that trust in him.
৩০ঈশ্বর হিসাবে, তাঁর পথ নিখুঁত। সদাপ্রভুু বাক্য শুদ্ধ! যারা তাঁর উপর নির্ভর করে তিনি তাদের ঢাল।
31 For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, beside our God?
৩১কারণ সদাপ্রভুু ছাড়া আর কোন ঈশ্বর নেই? আমাদের ঈশ্বর ছাড়া আর কোন শিল নেই?
32 The God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
৩২ঈশ্বর শক্তি দিয়ে আমাকে পথ নিখুঁত করে তোলো।
33 He maketh my feet like hinds’ [feet]: and setteth me upon my high places,
৩৩তিনি আমার পা হরিণের মত দ্রুত করেন এবং পাহাড়ের উপরে আমাকে স্থাপন করেন!
34 He teacheth my hands to war; so that mine arms do bend a bow of brass.
৩৪তিনি যুদ্ধের জন্য আমার হাতকে প্রশিক্ষণ দেন এবং আমার বাহু অনায়াসে ভাঙ্গতে পারে তামার ধনুক।
35 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
৩৫তুমি আমাকে তোমার পরিত্রানের ঢাল দিয়েছ। তোমার ডান হাত আমাকে সমর্থন করেছে, তোমার দয়া আমাকে মহান করেছে।
36 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, and my feet have not slipped.
৩৬তুমি আমার পায়ের জন্য, নীচে একটি প্রশস্ত জায়গা তৈরী করেছ যাতে আমার পা বিচলিত না হয়।
37 I will pursue mine enemies, and overtake them: neither will I turn again till they are consumed.
৩৭আমি শত্রুদের অনুসরণ করেছি এবং তাদের ধরেছি; আমি তাদের ধ্বংস না করা পর্যন্ত ফিরব না।
38 I will smite them through that they shall not be able to rise: they shall fall under my feet.
৩৮আমি তাদের দমন করেছিলাম যাতে তারা উঠতে না পারে, তারা আমার পায়ের নিচে পড়ে আছে।
39 For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
৩৯কারণ তুমি যুদ্ধের জন্য আমার উপর শক্তি দিয়ে কটিবন্ধন করেছ; তুমি আমার বিরুদ্ধে উঠে দাঁড়াও।
40 Thou hast also made mine enemies turn their backs unto me, that I might cut off them that hate me.
৪০তুমি আমার শত্রুদেরকে আমার থেকে ফিরিয়ে দিয়েছ, আমি বিলুপ্ত করব যারা আমাকে ঘৃণা করে।
41 They cried, but there was none to save: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
৪১তারা সাহায্যের জন্য চিত্কার করল, কিন্তু কেউ তাদের রক্ষা করে নি; তারা সদাপ্রভুুর কাছে চিত্কার করে বলল, কিন্তু তিনি তাদের উত্তর দেননি।
42 Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the mire of the streets.
৪২আমি চূর্ণ করি তাদের বাতাসের মুখে উড়ে যাওয়ার তূষের মত; আমি তাদের রাস্তায় কাদার মত ছুঁড়ে ফেলে দিলাম।
43 Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; thou hast made me the head of the nations: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.
৪৩তুমি আমাকে প্রজাদের বিরোধ থেকে উদ্ধার করেছ। তুমি আমাকে জাতিগুলোর মাথার উপরে গঠন করেছ। এমন লোক যাদের আমি চিনতাম না তারা আমার দাস হবে।
44 As soon as they hear of me they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.
৪৪যত তাড়াতাড়ি তারা আমার সম্পর্কে শুনেছে, তারা আমার আদেশ মান্য করবে; বিদেশীরা আমার কাছে নিজেকে সমর্পণ করবে।
45 The strangers shall fade away, and shall come trembling out of their close places.
৪৫বিদেশীরা হতাশ হয়ে পড়েছে, তারা কাঁপতে কাঁপতে দূর্গ থেকে বেরিয়ে আসবে।
46 The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of my salvation:
৪৬সদাপ্রভুু জীবন্ত, আমার শৈলর প্রশংসা হোক, আমার পরিত্রানের ঈশ্বর মহিমান্বিত হোক।
47 Even the God that executeth vengeance for me, and subdueth peoples under me.
৪৭তিনি সেই ঈশ্বর, যিনি আমার হয়ে প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করেছেন, যিনি জাতিদের আমার অধীনে করেন।
48 He rescueth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above them that rise up against me: thou deliverest me from the violent man.
৪৮তিনিই উদ্ধার করেছেন আমায় শত্রুদের কবল থেকে, বিজয়ী করেছেন বিরোধীদের উপরে, অত্যাচারিতদের থেকে উদ্ধার করেছ আমায়।
49 Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the nations, and will sing praises unto thy name.
৪৯তাই সদাপ্রভুু, আমি তোমাকে ধন্যবাদ দেব, আমি তোমার নামের প্রশংসা করব!
50 Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth lovingkindness to his anointed, to David and to his seed, for evermore.
৫০ঈশ্বর তাঁর রাজাকে মহা বিজয় দেন এবং তিনি তাঁর অভিষিক্তকে চুক্তির বিশ্বস্ততা দেখান, যুগে যুগে দায়ূদের ও তার বংশের প্রতিও দেখান।
