Psalms 15

1 A Psalm of David. LORD, who shall sojourn in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

Salmo di Davide O SIGNORE, chi dimorerà nel tuo tabernacolo? Chi abiterà nel monte della tua santità?

2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh truth in his heart.

Colui che cammina in integrità, e fa ciò che è giusto, E parla il vero di cuore;

3 He that slandereth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his friend, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.

Che non dice male colla sua lingua, [E] non fa male alcuno al suo compagno, E non leva alcun vituperio contro al suo prossimo;

4 In whose eyes a reprobate is despised; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.

Appo cui è sprezzato chi deve esser riprovato, E che onora quelli che temono il Signore; [E il quale, se] ha giurato alcuna cosa, [Benchè sia] a [suo] danno, non però la ritratta;

5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

[Il quale] non dà i suoi danari ad usura. E non prende presenti contro all'innocente. Chi fa queste cose non sarà giammai smosso.
