Psalms 141
1 A Psalm of David. LORD, I have called upon thee; make haste unto me: give ear unto my voice, when I call unto thee.
Un psalm al lui David. DOAMNE, strig către tine, grăbește-te înspre mine; deschide urechea la vocea mea, când strig către tine.
2 Let my prayer be set forth as incense before thee; the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
Să se îndrepte rugăciunea mea înaintea ta ca tămâia; și înălțarea mâinilor mele ca sacrificiul de seară.
3 Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my tips.
Pune o gardă, DOAMNE, înaintea gurii mele; păzește ușa buzelor mele.
4 Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to be occupied in deeds of wickedness with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.
Nu înclina inima mea la niciun lucru rău, pentru a face fapte stricate cu oameni care lucrează nelegiuire, și nu mă lăsa să mănânc din lucrurile lor plăcute.
5 Let the righteous smite me, [it shall be] a kindness; and let him reprove me, [it shall be as] oil upon the head; let not my head refuse it: for even in their wickedness shall my prayer continue.
Să mă lovească cel drept, va fi bunătate; și să mă mustre, va fi untdelemn ales, care nu îmi va sparge capul; căci rugăciunea mea de asemenea va fi continuă în nenorocirile lor.
6 Their judges are thrown down by the sides of the rock; and they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.
Când judecătorii lor vor fi doborâți în locuri stâncoase, vor auzi cuvintele mele, căci ele sunt dulci.
7 As when one ploweth and cleaveth the earth, our bones are scattered at the grave’s mouth. (Sheol h7585)
Oasele noastre sunt împrăștiate la gura mormântului, ca și când cineva taie și despică lemne pe pământ. (Sheol h7585)
8 For mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee do I put my trust; leave not my soul destitute.
Dar ochii mei sunt spre tine, DUMNEZEULE, Doamne; în tine este încrederea mea; nu lăsa sufletul meu pustiit.
9 Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me, and from the gins of the workers of iniquity.
Păzește-mă de capcanele pe care le-au pus pentru mine și de cursele lucrătorilor nelegiuirii.
10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.
Să cadă cei stricați în propriile lor plase, în timp ce eu deodată scap.
